Chapter 1:Beginning

  "The region of Oryu was discovered 20 years ago. Due to it containing traces of 
Pokemon from all the regions that we know of, it is believed to be the birth place of 
Pokemon all nations" rambled the teacher. This is the only part that caught my attention 
while I was doodling a Charizard in my notebook. The only thing I could think about was 
the chance to go on a Pokemon journey ."John!!! Pay attention" my overrated teacher 
yelled. I looked up for a second, but went back to doodling Charizard. 
"Riiinnnggg,Riiinnnggg!". When everyone heard the school bell that rang everyone was 
getting ready to leave. But  a voice from the sound speaker stared to speak. "One last 
announcement. The top 5 students in the school district have won a Pokemon journey. 
The following people in our school that has won are: 1.Kristy, 2.Gavin, and 3.John. You 
will meet in the office for a short briefing. Thank you and have a good day." I couldn't  
believe my ears. I would finally get to go on my own journey. Gavin who was a friend of 
mine so maybe we could team up together. As I walked into the office,I saw my friend 
Gavin who is a bit taller and is a bit bulkier, and the pretty girl with dark black hair who 
was also in great shape. As I took my seat the principal turned around to give us the 
briefing. "I gathered you here because you were chosen to be trainers. What you have to 
do is simple. Go on your journey and be the best trainer you can be. Got it? Good. Meet 
at the air port at 2:00 Pm .You will be going to Oryu region. Since you need to get ready 
for tomorrow, You are dismissed from school. See you tomorrow." Gavin and I took the 
bus home since our parents didn't know to pick us up. As we took our seats ,we saw the 
girl got on the bus. She decided to sit next to us. She opened her mouth and began to 
talk," Hello, what's your name?" she asked kindly. I decided to respond, "My name is 
John and this is Gavin. We've been friends since first grade. What's your name?". As  
soon as she realized she had not told us her name she replied " My name is Kristy, but I 
have one question." "What is it?" asked Gavin. "Can I come along with you guys? She 
asked. We talked it amongst our selves,  but in the end we agreed to let her come with us.

My House 1:00 Pm

  After telling my mom and dad about my journey, they agreed to let me go thinking it 
will be a good experience since they were trainers too. I also got them to let Gavin and 
Kristy stay over so we could get ready for our journey (and secretly get to no Kristy 
better). As going away presents I got a Pokedex Fire Red version, a bunch of field guides, 
a masterball, and a pokemon egg containing a Riolu.

At the Airport the Next Day

As we all boarded the plane, we waved our family good bye and took off. So far my 
adventure has been going really well. I've got good friends, I'm going to the thing I 
always wanted to do, and all of this plus a cute girl. Everything is awesome.
