Email me at sammis@dotsafe.net Badminton Jessie and James are playing badminton. (well, what do ya think they do in their spare time?) Ash, Misty and Brock see them and join in. (Who in their right mind could resist a nice rousing game of badminton?) Ash: I serve! (It goes to Misty and she misses.) Misty: Why you little...! (Misty starts pounding the birdie into the ground.) James: Jessie, serve!! Jessie: (serving) Fly, birdie, fly!! (birdie hits James in the nose.) James: Ow! Damn Birdie! Jessie: Sorry. (James serves. Brock hits it to Jessie, then Jessie hits it back. They are both very good at this. The game goes on between the two. James, Ash and Misty sit down and put down their rackets. Then Jessie misses and the birdie hits James in the temple.) James: Ow!! Dammit!! Stupid birdie!!! Jessie: Sorry. (Ash serves to Misty, who hits it to Brock, who tries to pass it to James, but ends up hitting him in the cheek with the birdie.) James: What the hell? You're against me too?? Brock: Sorry. (Ash hits it to Brock and Brock hits it back to Ash. Ash misses and tries to pick up the birdie to serve it, but Jessie intercepts.) Ash: A little birdie-possessive, aren't we? Jessie: Shut up and let me serve. (Jessie and Brock start a two-way again. James, Ash and Misty sit down again. The birdie takes a turn and hits James in the forehead) James: That's not a birdie, that's a frickin' comicazzi pilot!!! Stupid comicazzi birdie. (He serves and it flies up gracefully...into a tree.) James: Whoops. My bad. I'll get it!! (He climbs onto a really thin branch and it breaks. He falls and lands on Jessie.) James: Hello. Jessie: Get offa me, ya big doofus!! James: Oh, ummm....sorry. (Jessie serves the birdie and it hits Pikachu square in the back of the head.) Jessie and James: Yoink!! (carry Pikachu away.) (They give Pikachu to the boss and find out it's just a useless electric rat. Oh well. The End.) Disclaimer: Pokemon and its characters are the property of Satoshi Tajiri and 4kids productions. Questions? Comments? Flames? Email me at sammis@dotsafe.net The Gyarados James sat up in his sleeping bag. Something wasn't right. Meowth, the catlike pokemon, was curled up sleeping beside him. The sleeping bag next to him was empty. He and Jessie were partners in crime in the notorious organization of Pokemon theives known only as Team Rocket, and had been for a very long time. Their jobs made them travel around a lot, and sometimes they had to camp out in lieu of a place to stay. Jessie stared in horror at the Gyarados. It was a vicious blue pokemon that resembled mythical Chinese dragons. It bared its fangs and that meant trouble for Jessie. She knew that if he made any sudden moves, or any moves at all for that matter, the beast would eliminate her in seconds. She had just gone out for a morning bath in the lake, and the thing rose up out of nowhere. It was kind of cold out there. She trembled in the towel she had on. She prayed silently for something else to come along and distract it. "Jess?" James called. He walked a bit further in the woods before He heard screams. He ran toward them and hid in a nearby bush. He looked around and saw where the screams were coming from. Tears a rolled down his cheeks when he saw what had happened. It was a small, quiet funeral. There was a tombstone with an R on it that only meant Team Rocket. Jessie's parents, if they did know, didn't care. The rain fell in heavy drops against the hat and the black trenchcoat that James was wearing over his white Team Rocket uniform. The priest ended his graveside sermon and left. James slowly took a red rose from inside his jacket. Red roses were a symbol of love and romance to him, he never struck a pose without his trusty red rose. Now it meant nothing to him, now that half his team was gone. He kissed the petals softly, and stuck it into the earth. He knew what he had to do next. He went to the lake where Jessie's life had been cut short. He threw a rock in the water, which angered the Gyarados and made it rise up out of the water. He looked up at it, unafraid. "You took away one of the only things I had in life. Now I have nothing to live for." The Gyarados felt no remorse. James got angry. "You ruined my life! You took my job, my lady, and my only real friend." Tears of hate formed in his emerald green eyes. "Take me too! Come get me, I'm right here!" He was on the verge of hysterics. The Gyarados lunged at him. He felt no pain. He knew he would be happy again once he saw Jessie's crystal clear blue eyes again. Meowth looked away. Later on, he became the personal pet of the boss of Team Rocket. He lived in the lap of luxury, just like he had always wanted. Yet, he was never happy.
