Chapter 2

  Ka-BAM!!The explosion blew a hole threw the side of the building.Out of the
smoke and debri Ash was falling from the top floor of the building.A few
seconds after the explosion knocked him unconsious temporarily,he came
to."Crap!"he yelled.He was about one hundred stories from the ever aproaching
ground."Oh man,oh man"he mumbled as he reached into his backpack."Pikachu,my
whip!"Pikachu handed him his whip from inside his pack. Ash gripped it
tightly and snapped it upward.The steel and leather whip wrapped around a
poll sticking out from the side of the building.Ash was dangling 900 feet
from the ground,but at least he was alive.He sighed a breath of relief.The
relief was short lived,though,as another explosion tore a hole in the
building a few stories up.A red-headed girl fell out of the gaping
hole,screaming."Crap, Misty!"he yelled as she fell past him.Ash quickly
grabed her hand as she fell past."N-nice catch,Ash,"she said. Ash looked down
at the long haired girl(she wears her hair down)and said,"That was a little
TO close,"back at her. Misty gulped."So,uh,how do we get down?"she asked.
"That's what I was trying to figure out untill you showed up,"he said
back,harsher than he intended."Wait a minute,"   he said,"if you could climb
up my arm,I could use it to get my pokeballs."Misty reached up to grab his
arm with both hands and with much difficulty,she was finally able to wrap her
arms around Ash.His heart skipped half a dozen beats.
After years of travling with Misty,he finally realized he had   deeper
fellings for her.Not that he could ever tell her that. With his now free
hand,he reached down to grab two pokeballs from his belt and threw them
down.They opened,revealling Charizard and Pidgeot.Misty let go of Ash and
dropped on to Pidgeot.Ash also let go of his whip and dropped on to
Charizard.Then,after retreaving Ash's whip,they flew away from the building
and landed on the roof of a nearby building.After stepping of,Misty asked,"Do
you think Lance and Brock are all right?"As if to answer her question,two
more explosions burst out of the Federation building.Out of the first one,an
older boy leaped out.After falling about 50 feet,he opened a pokeball
reveiling a giant Onix.When they hit the ground,the rocksnake pokemon
burrowed underground,absorbing the shock that would have killed his
trainer."There's Brock now,"Ash said.From the second explosion,a rocky flying
pokemon flew out.It carried a 15 year old trainer with spiky,golden
hair.After a few seconds,the trainer hurled two capsules at the building
creating two more explosions."And that.....would be Lance,"Misty said.Lance
had a tendancy to overdo things. It took about five minutes to get the four
rebels reunited. "Did you get it?"Lance asked."Oh yeah,big time,"Ash
replied,rubbing the back of his head."He means the disk stupid!"Misty
said."Oh.Yeah,I got it.Right here,"he said, slipping the disk out of his
pouch."Great.Now lets get out of here before the Feds. find us,"Brock said
