By: Shadow Pikachu and Shadow Squirtle

(Part 2)

+In the bushes+

“I never knew the twerp actually had the guts to go with the red headed twerp,” Jessie stated.

“Or that the red headed twerp would dump him. I thought that she loved him,” James added.

“Concentrate!” Meowth scolded, “We’ve got to get dat Pikachu! Den we can worry about da twerp!”

“You know, I think we should give the twerp a break. He’s been in so much pain. He doesn’t need us adding to that.” Jessie said.

“You’re right,” James agreed.

“Did I miss someding?!” Meowth snapped.

“He’s in love. And that has always been something Team Rocket respects. No matter who it may be!” Jessie yelled at the cat pokemon.

“Yeah! And he has loved that girl for so long and she hurt him! We aren’t going to hurt him any further!” James yelled with her.

“Ok! Ok!” Meowth sighed.

Meowth turned around to head back to the balloon when he saw someone he hadn’t seen in years.

“It’s da red headed twerp!” he yelled out.

“WHAT?!?!?!” the two humans shouted.

They looked out the bush and saw Misty and her sisters go into a hot spring place.

“Maybe we can help the twerp in his love life after all,” Jessie whispered.

“WHAT?!?!?” Meowth screamed, “Why would we do dat?!”

“Because he’ll train his pokemon better and then we’ll be able to snatch the best pokemon he can offer!” James stated.

“Then it’s promotion time!” Jessie sang.

“Dat’s da life for me!” Meowth sang.

“Then let’s get busy!” James and Jessie sang.

The three started placing signs to the hot springs. Then they started to put up some posters. And finally they dressed up like a couple just in case that the twerp need some more convincing.

+Back with the gang+

“Hey what’s that sign?” Dawn asked, running up to the sign.

“Come to our wonderful Hot Spring. It’ll wash away all your pain and refresh you with a youthful energy!” Brock read.

Dawn’s eye lit up.

“Can we go! Please, Ash, please! Can we go!” Dawn begged.

“I don’t know,” Ash stated.

“Pplleeaasssee!!!!!” Dawn begged.

“What a wonderful anniversary!” Jessie acted.

“Anything for you sweetie,” James acted.

“Meowth!” Meowth said.

“I can’t believe how great those spring are! It’s like they’re wash away all my tension!” Jessie half sang.

“Now that’s the girl that I married. A girl without a care in the world except for the present. Those spring do wonders.” James stated.

“Can we go back next year?” Jessie asked.

“Of course! What ever makes you happy! I haven’t seen you smile this much since our honeymoon.” James chuckled.

“Meowth!” Meowth said.

“Those springs are a work of magic. They work such wonderful miracles in love!” Jessie said as they continued down the path.

Once they had gotten far enough away, they jumped into the bushes and looked back at the twerps.

“Please Ash!” Dawn asked.

“I don’t know Dawn. It probably costs a fortune. Maybe if we get some more money we can got to another hot spring some other time.” Ash said, looking at his near empty wallet, from their point of view anyways.

“No, no, no, no! They can’t go to any other hot spring! They have to go to this one!” Jessie snapped, putting on a male costume.

“Let’s go Jessie!” James exclaimed, throwing on a costume.

“Please Ash!” Dawn continued to beg.

“Ricky! Come on! If we don’t hurry, there won’t be any single girls left!” James yelled at Jessie.

“I’m coming Dan! Give me a sec. I got to make sure that I look alright for the ladies.” Jessie acted.

With that, they ran down the path and out of sight of the twerps. They then jumped back into the bushes and watched the twerps.

“Come on Ash!” Brock begged.

“Please!” Dawn begged.

He looked back and forth between the two of them.

“Fine.” Ash sighed.

Before they knew it, Brock had grabbed Ash and Dawn and was running to the springs.

“Wow…He’s quick,” Meowth stated.

+At the Springs+

“I can’t believe how much it cost,” Ash cried, looking at his account on the atm.

“I can’t believe that you’ve been holding out on us,” Dawn scolded.

“This is my special account. It’s for the thing that are very important to me. To me,” Ash explain, heading to their room to change.

“Thanks Ash!” the two stated.

Ash sighed. He went into their room and sat on his bed. Memories of the first time he had gone to the hot springs with Misty floated in his head. He changed into his swimming trunks and headed the hot springs. He wasn’t going to take that chance again.

Ash found Brock already in the hot spring when he arrived. He was wearing a scowl.

“No single women?” Ash chuckled.

“No.”

Luckily, the two boys were the only guys there. Ash stepped into the hot water and quickly sat down and enjoyed the warmth of the water. It made him feel a little better. Not a lot because it reminded him of Misty, but what didn’t?

“K, Ash. When did you and Misty start going out? And when did she break it off?” Brock probed.

“I don’t want to talk about it. Let me enjoy myself for once,” Ash stated.

“I want to know. So tell me now!”

Ash splashed him with an armful of money.

“I said no and I meant it!” he snapped.

Just then, all of his pokemon and most of Brock’s came running in.

“So much for being the only one’s here.” Ash sighed.

He sank back down into the water so it came up to just below is nose. His mind started to drift off to when he was happy. To when he still had Misty.

“YOUR THAT MISTY GIRL!!!!!!!!” the two boys heard Dawn scream.

Ash nearly drowned. Misty was here?! Cripe! He really didn’t need that! But then again…Would it be that bad? Ash stood up and put his ear to the partition.

“Do I know you?” Misty asked.

“Well, no, but I know you! Ash talks about you all the time and he-”

“Ash is here?!” Misty asked excited.

Ash could hear her stand up in the water. He wanted to see her beautiful face. He could just focus on that. He wouldn’t wander. He just needed to see her face. Ash looked at the barrier trying to figure out if he could climb it. He was gonna try anyways. He grabbed one of the planks and hoisted himself up. He was half way up. But his feet couldn’t get any traction so he was just hanging there. He released a frustrated sigh.

“Ash, get down! I don’t care how much you want to see Misty!” Brock scolded, whispering.

“I just want to see her face! Please, Brock!” Ash begged quietly.

Brock was up and out of the water, trying to pull him down by his trunks.

“Brock! Let go!”

“Not till you come down!”

“I just want to say hi!”

“I don’t care!”

Brock pulled too hard. Not only to he manage to get off the barrier, he managed to rip off his trunks. Ash fell into the water and turned his back to Brock. Ash was actually a very private person, no matter how he acted.

“Go get me another pair of shorts.” Ash whispered.

“Sorry dude. But I think that was your only pair,” Brock chuckled.

“Great. Just great.” Ash muttered, not facing Brock.

Ash looked at the barrier. That was the only thing between him and Misty at the moment. He just wanted to say hi. That’s all.

“I’ll go get you a pair of jeans.” Brock sighed.

“Thank you.” Ash sighed.

As soon as his old friend left, Ash worked his way to the barrier. He placed his ear on the barrier. His heart was racing.

“Misty, like, get away from the barrier!” He heard Lily scold.

“No! I want to be here!” Misty said back.

Ash felt his mouth go dry. He wanted to talk with her.

“Misty?” he tested.

“Ash?! Is that really you!?”

“How else would it be?!” Ash joked.

“I don’t know…Brock?”

“No, he’d be flirting with the girls.”

“True. So true. By the way, who keeps him under control?”

“His Croakgunk. It Poison Jabs him.”

He heard Misty laugh. It warmed his heart.

“So what are you doing here?” he asked.

“My sisters dragged me here. They say that they find all their favorite boyfriends here and said that I should try it. I decided that it wouldn’t hurt.”

“Oh. I see.” Ash said, trying to hide his pain.

“But so far, you and Brock are the only guys here.” Misty giggled.

Ash smiled. Maybe that meant that she still love him. But then..

“YOU PERVERT!!!!!!!!!!!” They heard a girl scream. The next thing they knew, Brock flew into the Hot Spring and through the barrier. It then collapsed. Ash and Misty only sat three feet away from each other. They stared for a second. But then the realization hit and Ash ducked under the water while the girls ran out. He then swam to where Brock sat on the other side.

“What’s wrong with you?!” He scolded.

“Here’s you pants. And I didn’t do nothing. That woman was aiming for a different guy and hit me. Some guy with black hair in a sleeping gi. He was with a guy with purple hair, a guy with orange hair, and a girl with brown. All about the age of May.” Brock said.

(Hey there! This isn’t a crossover if that’s what you are thinking. I just thought it would be fun if I brought in Fruits Basket for this part. K. Back to the story)
