Pokemon Fan fiction: Jakki’s Adventures By StarNob Chapter One The Nidoran’s Rescue “Hey honey! We’ve arrived in our new home! Come out of the moving truck!” The doors of moving truck opened, revealing the boxes and a teenager girl couching among them. She winces as she moves, her back protesting for she hadn’t moved for 8 straight hours. “Ma, why do you have to put me in that stinky truck with our stuff? Why can’t you let me to sit with Jack?” Ms. Jewell sighed, “Jakki, its best that you two are separated and don’t fight all way to our new home here in the Kanto.” The tired girl looked around. The house looks nice. White washed walls with red roof bricks, her new home is 2- story high with patio in front. She walked around the back to find a small pond with small grass field of 10 acres. Her mother appeared by her daughter’s side. “Jakki, if you are bored you can go out in there, maybe you can draw some new pokemon.” Jakki nodes as she picked up her pack filled with her pencils, sketchbook half full with the sketches of the pokemon she have seen in the Hoenn, her old home. Her brother was carrying his box of toys as she passed him. “Mom why is she not helping?!” he protested. Ms. Jewell told him, “Jack, your sister needs to get used to the reality of us staying here for real.” The boy looked after his sister’s retreating figure. She was really depressed about moving from our old home, her birthplace and mine…maybe I should set up her room for her…he thought as he walked in the house. Jakki looked around. The grass field stretches for miles, under the blue sky of Kanto. She sits down on a rock, pulling out her sketchbook ready to draw any pokemon that might come along. She is not a trainer, but she wishes she had one pokemon to protect her right now as she waited for a pokemon to appear. The grass rustles at her right. She freezes with her hand holding the pencil over the paper, ready to capture a sketch. A pokemon struggles out. She noticed three things: first it is wounded, second it is species named Nidoran and third it is about to die. She gasped. The female nidoran weakly chirped at Jakki. “My gosh, how does you get to be like that??? Let me take you to my home, my ma will fix you up. She is really great vet.” The Nidroan shook off Jakki’s hand, turning around to come back the way it was limping from. Jakki looked around as she follws the injured animal, noticing the damage to the trees and the rocks. Something BIG has come this way not too long ago. She thinks out aloud. “Nido! Nido!!” Jakki looked down as she stopped walking, noticing a small rabbit hole in the ground. She bend down to look inside but was hit in forehead by something small that seems to be flying out of the hole with such speed that the creature was only a blur as it attacks Jakki’s unprotected face. “AAAAAAAAIIIIIEEE!!!!!” Few minutes later, Jakki sat under a tree still dazed from the blow while the two Nidorans squeaked at each other. The injured one is larger than other one, in which is actually its pup. The older Nidoran squeaked at its son encourage it to stay with Jakki in which the pup has taken to calling “Big Nose” (Because of what it saw when Jakki poked her face in the entrance of the nest.) but the pup don’t want to leave its mother. Jakki come to conscious to the two nidorans’ movement on her body. As she opened her eyes the first things she saw was that her small attacker was only a pup and that its mother is wounded plus the mother’s attacker was right behind the Nidoran! The attacker was crazed male Nidoking, foamed at mouth as it charged at the threesome, roaring loudly. The wounded Nidoran saw the fear in the girl’s eyes, whirled around to deliver Horn Attack at its attacker. Jakki scoped up the small pup that was sitting on her stomach. The pup struggled clearly wanting to help its mother to deal with the infected Nidoking. Jakki only can looked in horror as the smaller female Nidoran faced off with very much larger Nidoking who is foaming at mouth. The wounded Nidoran turned it head to stare at Jakki. It knew already that Jakki is deaf. It can sense the difference the way the human girl moved and wanted her son to be with this unusual human and be her friend. She sighed, knowing this may be last time she could ever saw her son, sitting in the human’s arms, wanting to be with its ma and not understanding why its mother not escape. The Nidoran lifted her head lets out piercing cry that makes the mad Nidoking covers it ears, halting its charge. Jakki turned around and ran without a glare back. The pup struggled hard trying to get back to its dying mom. Just then a cry came that only it can hear from its mom. Son, please be with this poor human girl, who can’t hear, and be her friend. Good- bye… (Here the Nidoran’s cry stopped)
