Dis: I don't own Pokemon but I do own this fic and this song that I made up. I also own my characters. < >This helps you understand where the song is * This means somebody's thinking Ash: 20 Misty: 22 Brock: 24 ****Crystal Tears**** Deliah: ?? By: StarrybluMew A/N: This is my first songfic/AAMR so if it sucks, you'll know why. The night air felt cool on her skin as she and her boyfriend drove down the road. Her boyfriend was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans along with a pair of black tennis shoes while the girl was wearing a white tank-top along with a blue mini-skirt and white tennis shoes. With the windows rolled down, the girl turned on the radio. 'Hey Misty," Misty's boyfriend asked as the wind ruffled up his black, spiky hair. "Turn it up. I haven't heard this song before." "Yeah, I haven't either." So Misty turned up the radio. The song was soft but it had a good beat to it. "Hey Ash," Misty said dreamy like as she rested her head on his shoulder. Ash kept on driving down the road as he asked, "What is it Misty?" "Do you ever think about the future?" Ash made a quick glance into Misty's beautiful blue eyes as he replied "Yeah." Misty leaned back against her chair as she asked "What do you see?" Ash kinda chuckled as he replied "You. I see you, Misty." A smile spread across Misty's face as Ash pulled the car over for a stop. "What do you see?" He yelled out of the car as Misty walked towards her home. Without saying a word, Misty looked back at Ash lovingly and then took off towards her house. Ash smiled at Misty and then he drove off, listening to the new song. As Ash was listening to the song on the radio, a red jeep was flying down the road; going way beyond the speed limit. Ash made a left turn and then the jeep came stright at him. As he realized this, Ash held up his hands in front of his face for protection. Then a large crash was heard as parts of the jeep broke off and flew through the air as the glass on Ash's car shattered into a millon pieces. Ash jerked forward as the two cars collieded. His head went through the now shattered glass. A large piece stuck out and went right through his head, killing him instantly. The driver of the jeep's arm got cut by the tiny peices and his forehead had a little gash from where he had hit his head on his car. Misty danced as she listened to the radio. After the song was over, Misty flung herself on her soft bed. She laid there, thinking of Ash and how faithful he was. It had to suck knowing that your boyfriend/girlfriend was cheating on you. Misty let out a deep sigh as she thought about her future with Ash, her true love. At that instant, it felt like Butterfrees and Beautifly's were flying around in her belly. She let out another deep sigh. It had been a long night. Everybody Misty knew was partying at Brock's place. Brock had invited mostly girls and all of them turned him away. It was a total surprise how Brock didn't have a date yet since most boyz his age were already married. A giggle came from Misty as she remembered how May and Drew danced together on the dance floor. Misty closed her eyes as she thought about all of the couples at Brock's place. There was Tracey and Duplica, Gary and this cooltrainer named Cybil. And how could Misty forget the way Jessie and James hit it off when they sang karaoke? Yeah, that night was something special to Misty. But the best and most beautiful thing had happened to her the moment Ash and Misty walked into Brock's house for his party. Ash had gotten down on his knees and took out a small, white box. As every one gathered around them, Misty gasped as Ash said, "Misty, I've known you for a long time. Longer than anyone else I can think of. Well, besides Gary." Everybody chuckled at that remark. Ash continued. "But Misty, what I'm getting at is, well I um....will...." Jessie cupped her hands around her mouth as she shouted "Hurry up, Ketchum!" Everybody laughed. "Misty, will you marry me?" Misty felt everything a girl could at that beautiful moment. "Oh, Ash! I do!" She yelled as she wrapped her arms around him. That night was something Misty would never forget. Then, Misty closed her eyes and went into a peaceful sleep. Morning's light shinned into the bedroom of Misty Waterflower (or Misty Ketchum) as she made her way into the kitchen. Misty opened up the ketchen' fridge and pulled out an apple. As she sank her teeth into the juicy red fruit, the telephone rang. Misty picked it up and held it to her ear. "Hello?" she asked as she bit into the apple again. "Misty......." It was Mrs. Ketchum's voice. She sounded weak and very depressed. "Deliah? What's wrong?" Misty asked, full of concern. "Misty.....Ash is....is....dead." There was a long silence. Misty was the first one to speak. "Wha...what? What do you mean he's dead? He can't be dead!" Deliah sobbed. "I couldn't belive it...either Misty. He was so full of life but now, he's...he's gone." Misty held her hand over her forehead. "How did he...die?" It hurt to much to say the words *die* or *dead* now. "He tus livin rown the toad and a lunk liver hit tim!" Deliah sobbed so hard that it was difficult to make out the words. "He...hit a guy named...Tim?" Misty was confused. "No...no Ash got...got..." Deliah sobbed once more. "tan rover!" she continued as the sobs got louder and louder. "Oh," Misty understood that part. "Well, I'll see you at the um, you know." Tears blurred Misty's vision as Deliah hung up the phone. Misty placed the phone back on the jack and then she raced off into her bedroom. She slammed her bedroom door and a large crash sound was heard from the hallway. It was probbly a picture of her and Ash. "Ash!" Misty cried into her pillow. "How....how could....you....leave me?" Misty held the pillow up over her head and threw it up against the wall. The pillow slid down the wall and onto the floor. Tears streamed down Misty's face. Her cheeks were as red as Jessie's hair. "How could you!" She screamed, now full of hate and sorrow. "You can't leave me now! Not after you proposed to me!" Misty sobbed as she slid her diamond ring off her finger and threw it at the wall. It landed on the pillow. "I...love...you to much to have....you...." Misty whispered the word "die." Her head hung low as more tears came rolling down her cheeks. Misty, who realized that she was still holding on to the apple, threw it down on the floor. Life was nothing without Ash. Nothing. The cystal tears fell on her bed. She needed help. Misty couldn't face the fact that Ash had.....died. Slowly, she got off of her bed and made her way to the phone. She dialed the numbers 264-33809 and a deep voice said "Hello?" "Hi Brock." Misty said, tears still running down her face. "Hey Misty. What's wrong?" Misty held her forehead again as she cried out "Ash is dead!". There was a pause. "Ash.....is.....no way!" Brock shrieked as Misty screamed "Yes way! Brock! Ash is never coming back! This is all my fault. I shouldn't have left him alone. I should have......" "Whoa! Misty, calm down. Look, it's no body's fault." "Yes. It is to my fault!" Misty cried. It felt like the world beneath her feet was crumbling. It felt like she was falling and no body could catch her. Misty was feeling so many things at that moment. And all of those things seemed like it was impossible to feel anything *besides* being happy. "When's the funernal?" Brock asked. Misty replied "Tomorrow....I think. I'm gonna have to call Deliah back and ask her." Misty felt alot better now that she was talking with Brock. "How's she taking it?" "Not good. I think she'll croak any moment now." "Poor thing. I'm gonna call her later and see how she's doing." Misty touched her cheeks. They still felt watery from all of the tears. "Yeah, you do that." "Misty," Brock asked. "Is there anything you need to tell me?" Misty clutched the phone harder. "Well Brock, you've always been there for me when I needed you most and I guess now is the time." "Yup." Brock said in agreement. Misty was about to tell Brock everything. How he was such a big help to her and how it felt to have the world crumble beneathe her feet. But she didn't....she was to grief-streaken over Ash to say anything happy right now. Misty sighed. "Brock....I'll call you back later. OK?" Although Misty couldn't see it, she was sure Brock was nodding as he said "Sure. Take your time Misty. Besides, I need some alone time anyways." "Alright then. See you tomorrow?" "Hmmm, yeah." So Misty placed the phone back on the jack. She slumped onto the big, brown counch that was in her livingroom. Belive it or not, she didn't feel like crying. She just felt horrible. "Maybe I can still talk to Ash....through the cell phone. I know his number. And I know he knows my number." Misty said to herself. "Nah. That's crazy talk. Besides," Misty placed her hands behind her head. "it wouldn't work anyways." ****But it would be fun to try. Just for the heck of it. Ash has done it before, so why can't I try?**** Ignoring the fact that it wouldn't work, Misty remembered that Ash had given her his cell phone by accident while they were driving down the road. Misty reached into her pocket and pulled out a cell phone. ****Hmmmmm.**** She thought. ****Let's see who Ash called on his cell phone while we were apart.**** As Misty through Ash's numbers, she couldn't belive what she was seeing. Then one name caught Misty's eye. The name was Samantha Greenlard. After a while, the phone began to ring and a voice came on the phone. "Yellow?" The girl sounded black. Not that Misty cared. She had black cousins who were adopted from Maine. "Ash, is that you?" Misty started curious. "No. This is Misty. Ash's girlfriend." Samantha said, "Do what? Misty? You better not be messing around with my man!" Misty's jaw dropped. "Do you mean you and Ash are um, going out?" Samantha said "Out? Hell, we've been going out for 5 years." Misty gasped. Her and Ash had gone out since they were 16. "Oh, well bye." "Buh-bye." Samantha said as she hung up the phone. Thinking about what Samantha had said, Misty had an idea. She picked up for phone and dialed Brock's cell phone. Brock answered the phone and said, "Hello?" "Hi Brock?" Misty asked as she smiled to herself. "Oh, hey Misty!" Brock said, some-what cheerfully. "Brock, I was wondering," Misty twirled her red hair around with her finger. "would you like to go out some time?" Brock was shocked by this question. "Misty, wasn't Ash going to *marry* you?" Misty shrugged as she replied "He cheated on me with a girl named Samantha. I don't feel sorry or sad for him no more." Brock understood what Misty was saying. With a smile Brock said, "So, how about Red Lobster?" A/N: God! I'm sorry if that sucked. My fingers hurt. I wrote all of this in ONE DAY!!! Oh, and by the way, I got some of my ideas for this fic from the Rascal Flatts music video What Hurts the Most. I hope you noticed that and I want you to know, I'm not racist. I have 4 couisons who are part black and part white. Also, I noted that Gary and this cooltrainer named Cybil were going out up above. Cybil is a cooltrainer that I battled and beaten on my Pokemon Crystal. C ya and Happy Father's day!
