Another day as a Master
(Chapter 1)



	Ash was sleeping in his bed tired from a pokémon battle he had yesterday.
Actually he had two, but one of them didn't really seem like a battle.  

Damien (you know him from "Charmander the stray pokémon").  Damien had stunk up
the place so badly that the Pokémon League took away all his badges and pokémon. 
Ash's other challenger had really good fighting skills and almost beat him.
	Brock fulfilled his dream of being the world's greatest pokémon breeder.  Brock
and Ash have not spoken with each other in a long time.  Misty left to Cerulean
after Ash won his place as master.  Misty had left Ash in sorrow.  Misty calls
Ash every once in a while asking him how everything was going.

	Pikachu wandered in ash's bedroom turning on the light.  "Pika pika," said
Pikachu trying to wake Ash up.  "Chuuuuu," with that Ash woke up rubbing his
eyes.  "Good morning Pikachu, how are the others?" "Pikachu pika pika chu (fine
although Charizard's hungry)." Ash ate his breakfast, went outside and fed his
other pokémon.  Ash went out for a jog, he figured that he could strengthen
himself since he was a little weak. 
---meanwhile---
	Professor Oak: "Ahhhh, there, it is finished.  This is my greatest invention
yet!  I'll just need someone to test it out for me.  Hmmm, maybe Ash will do it,
I'll call him right away."
---back with Ash---
	"Squirtle squirtle," greeted Squirtle as Ash returned from his run.  Ash now
keeps his pokémon in a special area he had made for them.  "Ring ring ring, ring
ring ring, phonecall, phonecall."  Ash answered his videophone, "Hello, this is
Ash. Hi Professor Oak, how have you been?" "Pikachu!" P. Oak:  "Fine Ash, I need
to ask a favor of you.  Come down to the lab I'll explain more when you get
here." Ash: "Okay." Ash hung up the phone and called for Pidgeot.
