Chapter 1: Far yet Near

Pallet town Forest
[Ash, Misty, and Brock once again get lost.]
Misty: Ash I told you we should have taken the left!
Ash: No! We are on the right path.
Misty: So, if we’re heading on the right direction, then tell me Ash Ketchum. 
Where the hell are we?
Ash: [Ash looking at the map confused] We’re at, at. . .
Misty: See you got us lost again.
Brock: Calm down you guys. Lets have something to eat. We have a long way to go 
before we get to Viridian City.
Ash: Your right Brock, I am starving.
Misty: If we stop now, we will never get there. My sisters are leaving tonight I 
need to be there on time.
Ash: If you have such a rush you can go on by yourself.
Misty: Fine. I don’t need your sense of direction.
Ash: I don’t need you!
Misty: Fine.
Ash: I thought you were leaving.
Misty: I am!
[An Altaria flies down and captures Misty.]
Ash and Brock: Misty!
Misty: Help!!!
Ash: Pigeotto go! [Ash hops onto Pigeotto.]	Follow that Altaria.
[Ash catches up with Altaria who had captured Misty.]
Misty: Ash!
Ash: Hold on Misty.
[Altaria starts taking loops through the trees and manages to escape from Ash.]
Ash: No, I lost her.

Cinnabar Island
Misty: Ash, where are you? [She said concerned.]
[A handsome boy with a blue t-shirt that says “Destiny awaits You”, black pants, 
brown eyes and brown messy hair approaches Misty.”
Brian: [He faces Altaria.] I thought I told you Altaria to not capture people. 
[He faces Misty.] Sorry, she is usually not like this.
Misty: It’s okay. Where am I?
Brian: You’re at Cinnabar Island.
Misty: Wow your beautiful. I mean it’s beautiful here. [Misty blushes.]
Brian: [He smiles.] Oh how rude of me, my name is Brian.
Misty: My name’s Misty.
Brian: [He shakes her hand.] Nice to meet you.
Misty: Same here. Um... Why did Altaria capture me?
Brian: You see that horsea necklace your wearing. [He points towards her neck.]
Misty: Yes.
Brian: Well my little sister Cathy lost hers, and I sent Altaria to look for it.
Cathy: [Running towards her Brother.] Big brother! Did you find my necklace?
Brian: Well... 
Misty: Your brother did a good job finding it. [Misty hands over her necklace.] 
Just be more careful.
Cathy: Okay. [Turns to her brother.] Thank you big brother. [She hugs Brian and 
leaves.]
Brian: Thank you. That was a nice thing you did.
Misty: No problem.
Brian: I’ll buy you another one I insist.
Misty: No it’s okay.
Brian: Is there somewhere you need to be.
Misty: [She shakes her head no.] I’m not wanted there.
Brian: Then you must stay for the festival we are having tonight!
Misty: Id love to.
Viridian City
Brock: Don’t worry Ash we’ll find her. I know she’ll find away to get here.
Ash: Sure. [Walks on ahead.] [Ash whispers.] I’m sorry Misty.
