From Part 1: The Ketchum Express is ready to go." "So is the U.S.S Forretress." "Hey guys!!" Corphish announced. "But what about Corphish....I mean Cody?" Max asked. "Easy. We'll make a hammock. And we've better hurry. It looks like it might rain soon." Brock replied taking out a sheet. Three hours later they came to a sign that said. Welcome to Sunbeam City. "Hey Brock. Where's that amazing plan of yours? Max asked. Part 2: Nurse Joy looked up from her sandwich making to see four kids come through the doors. One was wearing a blue shirt with black sleeves and a hat. He was also carrying a stuffed Pokemon in shape a Pikachu. It looked very realistic. He also had on of those Pokemon Backpacks that recently came out. His was a Corphish. The tallest one had a Forretress backpack. The young boy had a large Wurmple backpack that seemed to be full of something. The girl seemed to be nervous about something. In fact they all seemed slightly nervous. "Hello. How may I help you today?" She asked as she put ketchup on her sandwich. The stuffed Pikachu's eyes seemed to waver for a second but she couldn't be sure. But what she could be sure of is at that moment the one holding the stuffed Pikachu made a sudden change in his expression, however brief, to slight worry and the nose of the stuffed Pikachu was trembling slightly and then stopped. It all happened in a matter of three seconds. The tall dark haired boy spoke up. "We've been traveling for a while and were wondering if we could have our Pokemon re-energized." She smiled. "Of course! What are your names?" "My name is Ash. This is Brock, May and Max." Ash replied as he gently took off his backpack and laid it on the counter. Up close it looked exactly like a Corphish. The detail! He then sat his stuffed Pikachu next to it. It slowly slumped over like any stuffed Pokemon would. The others slowly laid their backpacks onto the counter. She put them on a nearby cart and was about to leave when Ash spoke up. "Nurse Joy! You forgot the...stuffed Pikachu!" She turned back. "Why do you want me to take it with me?" "It's....my Treecko's favorite." At that moment she thought she heard a sound come from one of the backpacks, but it was probably her imagination. She gave him a confused look. "I see." She took the realistic looking toy and found that it felt even more realistic, just like a real Pikachu! Cody watched with one eye partially open as they neared the room where they usually got their energy restored. Before they arrived at the Pokemon Center Ash and the others were arguing over who would look more realistic as a stuffed Pokemon: Scotty, Tommy or Torchic. The winner was chosen on the ability to realistically flop over like a stuffed toy. Tommy refused to flop over. As soon as Nurse Joy got out of earshot of Ash and the others she kept mentioning to herself how realistic the "backpacks and the "stuffed toy" looked. The sound that had come from Ash's backpack was a very soft and very quick "What?!" from Tommy. But what the humans would have heard, if anything would have been "Ecko?!" From what Cody had heard about Scotty it was probably a close call when Scotty saw the ketchup. Scotty loved ketchup. Cody thought it was funny how Ash's last name, Ketchum, sounded almost like Ketchup. But it sounded more like Catch 'em. Oh look! They were entering the room! Ash sighed. "That was close. I thought for sure that Pikachu...um Scotty was going to go after the ketchup on that sandwich." "Or the ketchup bottle itself." Brock chimed in. "Now that you mentioned it, I have noticed that Scotty sucks the ketchup bottles everytime we're at a Pokemon Center or a restaurant" May said. "I heard Tommy say something after you said that Pikachu was his favorite." Max announced. "He was probably trying not to laugh." May said sourly. "Did you see the funny look she gave Wurmple?" "Looks like we got here just in time. It's starting to rain." Brock announced. Ash looked out to see a few droplets of rain. "Barely." At that moment Nurse Joy came back into view. She had a slight frown. "May I see your trainer's guidebook?" Brock handed her his guidebook. She turned a couple of pages and stopped to read something and then she turned to the beginning of the book. "You realize that this book clearly states that your Pokemon will be confiscated if not in their Pokeballs don't you?" "Yes." May, Max, Ash and Brock answered glumly. She nodded and tossed the guidebook into the trash. "You'll have to get another guidebook." "Why is that?" Max asked. Nurse Joy smiled. "Because that one is three years out of date." She picked up a newer version and gave it to Brock. "Thanks for scaring us like that!" May cried. "Yes, but imagine my surprise when your stuffed Pikachu came to life and your backpacks started moving on their own. Then your Pikachu unzipped bags and revealed four more Pokemon!" Part 3 Preview: When they finally reached Brock and the others eleven figures ran in through the door. "Oh, look. Power's out." One of them said breathlessly. From the sound of the person's voice it was female. One was a tall brown haired girl who looked about Ash's age or older. The brown haired girl looked at Ash and his friends and smiled. "Oh, hello there. My name is Courtney." I know it's kind of short again. I'll make each part longer later on. In later parts there are a number of humourous as well as serious moments.
