December 7, 2005 Part II: Cipher Michael and Jovi returned home at the lab and were not surprised to see their mother outside waiting for them. Hands on hips, upset but worried expression. They were gone for three hours how could she not be worried? "What took you two so long to come back?" Her motherly early forties voice scolded. The angry expression of a light brown haired, green eyed lady wearing a business dress in pink was who Lily; their mother was. She was a nice looking forty or so loving and caring mother only wanting her son and daughter even at their matured ages to be safe. Typical mom. "Sorry mom, long story." Michael said. "Yeah, we have a perfectly good reason and Jovi can tell the whole story." Jovi assured. Jovi was the type who would talk all day on the phone with her closest friend, Emily. "No it's fine. I'm just relieved you're back." Lily insisted realizing this. "Okay." "Oh yes Michael, Krane wanted to see you and I think your PDA went off earlier." "Alright." And Michael left to first see Krane. He took the elevator to the second floor and turned right to the office. Inside, a man with shaggy brown hair in a labcoat wearing glasses was at his desk typing. Abruptly the light pounding of the keys ceased and he looked at Michael. "Just the man I wanted to see." He said. "What's up Krane?" Michael greeted and asking at the same time. Professor Krane adjusted his glasses causing a quick flash upon the lens with a reflection of the light. "Sit please." Michael did so across from the proffesser curiosity flowing through his mind. "Look." He said gesturing to the monitor. On the screen was a scene with shady characters wearing white armor heading to an old building. It looked somewhat like an aged laboratory. "Recognize it?" Krane asked Michael. "Sorta," Michael said with the image very familiar. "Look at this." When Krane slid the mouse to the left the video did so as well and a large red hover truck came into the video It was old and worn out with much dust and rust hiding most of its original detail. "Oh, it's the-" "Truck that was driven by Cipher when they kidnapped me during the Second Incident seven years ago." Krane finished. "The Cipher Laboratory." "Proffeser. Doesn't this mean that our old enemies have returned. Again?" Michael added with a serious tone. "Possibly. Now watch this clip from the secret SS Libra camera." Another nite time video appeared and Michael gazed upon the old upturned cargo ship half buried in sand. Most of the ship's rear was buried vertically pointing towards the nite's stars. The cold midnite and the tarnished ship was ironically beatiful. Michael found it a little surprising that it hadn't been moved. But on the other hand how could one move a ship from a desert? Where would it go? Perhaps the Orre Sea nextdoor to Gaten Port. "This ship that held over a hundred pokemon but only eighty-three pokemon became shadow pokemon has also shown me clips of armored soldiers in and out." "And again." With a third click of the mouse Krane showed Michael the Cipher Key Lair, a pyramid sized and pyramid shape factory which created shadow pokemon during the Second Incident. The scence showed a group of white soldiers leaving the building walking on the big stone circular platform which was connected to the building. "That's all. And now," Krane pressed eject on his computer and the cd slid out. He grabbed it with both hands and broke it in half with a snap. "Krane! Why'd you you do that?" Michael exclaimed. "Lily, you, and I are the only ones who have seen these clips." "You showed my mother the videos?" "Yes and I trust you just as much. After all you were the hero to have defeated Cipher's during their second comeback. You should know that the Cipher Syndicate may return once more." "Right." Then Krane beamed Michael a serious expression. "Please understand though Michael that I do not want anyone here or anywhere else to have the slightest belief this evil orginazation has returned." "I understand Krane." Michael swore. *** I have been waiting for the right time to have my rematch. And finally I'm ready. In the deepest depths of the Pyrite Cave, you will find me at midnite. From, an old rival. On top of the fact that Cipher, the old and ruthless syndicate may have been coming back, this puzzling message Michael read on his PDA was just as much bewildering. Who could this be? Michael thought. Not a single person came to mind. The red block numbers on the digital clock on the wall read, ten-twenty- five.. Midnite...It'd be a while till then. *** After a very rejuvinating nap, three-thirty had came and the day had become much brighter. The golden sun's rays beamed through the lab's windows and the up and about buzy lab gave Michael the feeling he was in the way. Bordem also arrived to his conscience and he just had to get out of the lab. Finally he came to a conclusion to go to Gateon Port's lighthouse. It was the one place he went to think. Upon leaving the main lobby doors, Michael bumped into a young woman. Her long black hair matched well with her brown eyes which gleamed with the sunlight. The brown skin looked so smooth on her face and hands. She wore blue skin tight pants and shirt wearing white Air Forces. The woman looked to be about his age. "Hi Michael." She smiled. "H-hey Kylia." Michael stammered. He began to grow red in the face at the sight of the girl who he had become attracted to since they were young early teenagers. It had been since his mother met her parents when he had met her. But her parents lived in Johto. "You goin' somewhere?" She asked with her cool and laid-back tone. "Actually I was headed to Gateon's lighthouse. It's kinda boring here." "I agree, canIcome if that's cool with you?" "NO!" Quickly, Michael cupped his mouth with both hands and exhaled slowly throuh his fingers at the word he'd just said. "Um.." He looked at her trying to come up with words. "...sure, I'd like that." "Well let's be out." She smiled and the two approached the hover-scooter. Michael mounted and so did Kylia. She held onto his waist as he started the scooter's engine but upon doing so he jumped off his scooter. Both of them met hard ground abruptly. "What da- what's your problem?" Kylia said a bit annoyed. Wasn't he twenty? When was the last time he had let a girl ride his scooter. It was like this was his first time. "S-sorry." Thinking quickly he had came up with a lie to defend himself. "I'm a...ticklish." He laughed which was clear that it was phoney as can be. "Come on." He once more got on his ride. "I promise you won't fall on your butt on the way to the Port." She looked at him with a blank expression and then giggled as she noticed he was blushing. Really hard. The red ovals on his cheeks seemed to be alive. She too climbed back on and once more hugged his stomach feeling a tough and thick six-pack underneath his vest. But this time Michael drove off with an odd boost in confidence within him. *** The Port was somewhat crowded with civilians, mostly sailors and ship navigators. Michael and Kylia arrived to Gateon Port as he parked the scooter right by the 'Welcome' billboard. The pair from there proceeded to the bridge linking the lighthouse to the actual Port and soon were inside the lighthouse. Once they reached the top using the elevator, the chilliness of the windy and salty atmosphere was overwhelming at this fifty foot height. Michael walked to the railing encircling the edge of the lighthouse and resting his arms on it and stared at the ocean. Kylia slouched over the railing as well looking into the green-blue water. The white foam crashed against the base of the lighthouse but retreating back to its wet and raging origin. "It's beautiful." Kylia said. "Yeah," You are. He added to himself. "Ya know we shoulda like brought chairs so we could chill." "Oh, I um didn't think about that. Sorry." Once more his face reddened and he force himself towards the gleaming, sun sparkling water. He noticed some water-dwelling pokemon such as the remoraid and majikarp. Wingull and pelippers, the seagull and pelican pokemon glided the bright blue clouded skies, white feathered wings flapping with the steady wind. "So uh, how old are you?" He asked looking at something in the far distance. It was a volcanic island. Old memories of that place began to surface as he spotted the black smoke drifting from the volcanos peak. She laughed alittle. "Twenty-one." "Oh okay just getting my facts straight. And you're single, like you don't have a boyfriend right?" "Yeah I'm single," she continued. "How 'bout you?" She asked finally turning to him." "Oh me, ha no. Come to think of it I've never really had a girlfriend. My life has always been for my pokemon really. Pretty pathetic huh." Michael was ashamed realizing he was twenty and still a virgin. "No no its not a bad thing." she quickly said. "It ain't that simple finding a clean non-slut these days. "But in your case, Michael, the Second Hero of Orre shouldn't have any problems gettin' a babe. As cute as you are, please." "Thanx. So what have you been up to lately?" Michael continued working well with the small talk he was so far progressing with. "Nothing really. Just training Gardevoir," she gestured to the pokeball clipped on to her white leather belt. Michael couldn't help but lose sight of the pokeball and turn his eyes to the large round hump that was her rear. It was one of Michael's favorite physical features about Kylia other than her perfect sized breasts. Her body rivaled with that of a goddess. "How are your pokemon? Been taking care of the trio?" "Yeah I have, their find." Michael thought about his most powerful pokemon that most and almost none had knowledge of. In fact he wondered if his mother or even Proffesor Krane knew he had it. Well the only person who was a trainer who knew about his large white giant dragon-like pokemon was a man named Jodlet. Other than him this pokemon was secret. The humming of the elevator reaching the rooftop came to halt and opened its double metal doors. She had bright lime eyes which related very well to Michael's with long pink hair so long in fact her pig-tails nearly reached the white stone ground. She seemed young possibly barely coming to her thirties. Her slim figure was indeed alluring to any man who came across her. Her white boots came up high almost to her knees as if she had a a part-time job at a strip joint. The white leather dress she wore stopped just under her waist. To match her white clothes she also had white fingerless fighting gloves. This was what Kylia meant by a slut image. "Oh my gosh," her white blonde-girl voice spoke. "Michael is that like you. It is you. Boss is gonna be so happy once I tell him I found you." Michael blinked once, "...who you?" "You know her." Kylia looked up and down at the woman's physique. Could she possibly be jealous? "No not in a past life either." Michael said quickly. "What! How can you not remember me?" The woman asked feeling insulted. "I was your first Cipher Administrator you ever battled. You beat me though. Kinda still hurts from losing but that was several years ago right." "Wait you knew Lovrina?" Michael asked not connecting the dots. "You can't be for real." She shook her head, her hair swaying on the ground. "I AM LOVRINA YOU MEANIE!" She suddenly bellowed looking at him glaring cutely. "Oh really. Guess I see it now." Michael considered rubbing his chin with his index finger and thumb glancing at her, head pushed forward squinting his eyes at her. If she was here then it meant one thing... "Oh shut up! Go, Roselia use Razor-leaf." A marble-like material pokeball she had quickly pulled from her side was tossed into the air opening in a white electric flash. A tiny green pokemon materialized from the light. It was about less than a foot tall weighing about four to five pounds. Its small flower-like body was a rough oval green body as its stem-like arms held two roses for hands the right being red and the left a royal blue. "Rose," the little creature squeaked as it directed its flower hands one at Michael and the other at Kylia. Green razor leaf-like shurikens bolted towards the two. "Move it!" But rather listening to himself he constricted his arms around Kylia's waist and leaped to the left as the razor leaves embedded the ground halfway through the surface. He placed her back on the ground. "You sneaky weasel!" The Second Hero grabbed his own pokeball this one also with a sticker but on it a flame symbol. A fire pokemon perhaps? "Flareon you're up." He tossed it and a fire-red cat pokemon emerged from his own pokeball's energy. The cat creature had a large sun yellow collar around its neck with a fat fluffy tail and a patch of yellow on it head with sharp pointed rabbit- like ears. Its large black eyes closely resembling Vaporeon's glared at Roselia and it was plain and clear that it was delighted to have an oppurtunity to fight a pokemon that had a clear type disadavantage against his. "You wanna be like that well then take this, Flare, use Fire-spin." His pokemon fired a cylcone of pure red inferno possibly around five to six- hundred degress which was hot enough to turn water to steam. The horizontal medium sized tornado of flames trailed through the grass- posion pokemon as it was burned far hotter than third degrees which was a level of heat not to be trifled with. Once the fire dissipated, areas on Roselia's body were charred and black to a crisp. But still Roselia seemed strong enough to hold on a little more. But looking at what Flareon had done, another Fire-spin would be the end of its life. "End this now, Fireblast!" A ten foot long and wide X shape body of intense red-orange fire was exhaled from Flareon's jaws as it closed in on the small rose pokemon. "Quick! Dodge!" Both diving desperatly to the left, Lovrina and Roselia avoided the powerful burst of fire which was as threatening as conflagration. Standing up, Lovrina grabbed her pokemon with both hands and threw her vertically shouting, "Solar Beam!" While airborne the rose pokemon began absorbing the sun's hot energy in its rose hands and they began to glow greenish white flaring deadly with the anxiety to fire. Once Roselia met ground it fire and recoiled a bit. The large greenish-white beam of unbelivable solar energy approached Michael and Flareon with forty miles per hour speed. "Flamethrower!" From the opposite side of the battle, a tongue of twenty feet of fire as hot as the Fire-spin arrived to meet with the end of the Solar Beam. As a result the equally powered attacks caused a huge burst of green and red as the explosion caused smoke to arrive after the big boom. Soon and even more dark obscurring smoke seemed to had arrived. Damn Michael. Lovrina throught. This must be Smokescreen. And I'm the sneaky weasel? Prick. Suddenly a part of the smoky screen unveiled abruptly letting a fireball through with Roselia at the end of the blast as it then landed next to her. Most of its little chest was also charred and blackened with peices of its once leafy chest breaking off to the stone white ground. Its faint breathing came with every little strand of black smoke eroding from its mouth. She looked at her trainer with an apologetic expression. "Rose..." It closed its eyes in defeat. Lovrina quickly called back her partner in its marble pokeball in a thin line of red laser inhaling it into the pokeball. Shrinking the ball down so it could clip to her belt she did so and stood up and scowled at Michael. "At least my pokemon is still alive. You coulda killed her battling like that you meanine. Well I'll be seeing ya. Bye Bye." She quickly sprinted towards them but lifted her foot onto the railing and leaped into the air, arms outstretched as if she was going to hug the ocean she was about to come into connect with. Placing her hands together she slipped right through the water despite its crashing and dangerous waves. Odd thing was she never returned for air. But how? Michael thought. Where could she have gone? Poof she disappears. I'm not buying it. "Hey," Kylia turned from the water as well looking at Michael. "Did she say she was a Cipher Administrator?" "Yeah she is, I battled her a long time ago against that same pokemon. It was my first battle against any real cipher during the Second Incident." Michael had already been expecting to have bumped heads with someone from Cipher anytime. It was just a matter of time. That was half the reason other than thinking about Cipher's return why he came to the lighthouse. But Kylia tagging along had been just a bonus. It was clear that Krane's prediction had finally come true. Cipher was back. Could Michael's e-mail have had any Cipher connections? It was only about four-thirty. Still many hours to go. "Listen let's go back we need to see the professor and Lily about-" "No! Let's just keep this between us okay? That isn't necessary. It'll only cause allot of panic. I just know it okay?" He figured if Kylia had the thought only she and Michael knew about Cipher's apparent come back and Krane believes that only he, Michael, and Lily knew about it then no harm was done. "Fine but I think it would make more sense you know." Kylia was apparently unsure of Michael's decision. "Trust me." Was all he could say. "I do." She returned. *** Wes and Rui were enjoying themselves at Realgam Tower. Wes battled a couple of trainers that recognized him as the First Hero of Orre. The two of them had only returned a week ago to the region from being on a long journey and vacation. Rui watched not surprised at all from the strength Wes' pokemon possessed. She had been by his side for the longest as she watched him grow during his journey. They left as teenagers and came back as adults. Its no wonder people barely recognized them at first glance. The time they had there was fun. It could have lasted forever. But all fun comes to an end at some point. As they went towards the platforms that would carry them to the front of the Tower to leave, a commotion was uprooting at the inner lobby. One man was the cause of the situation. He was shouting at every person he looked at. But he took things too far now grabbing a guy by the shirt. "YOU! He shouted. "P-please sir don't hurt me!" The man begged. He had done nothing wrong so why was this large man gripping him up like so? The commotion-rising man wore a thin white body suit with black stripes all over. It looked like he was wearing the fur of a white tiger on his body. His outfit showed off a thick eight-pack on his stomach and tough looking arms where one held the pedestrian with one muscle-bound arm with ease. His black eyes showed very dark fury with his eyebrows slanted to make the fury even more stunning. He had very long and spiky crimson hair which dangled downwards halfway down his back. He wore no shoes or socks but was barefoot. "I'VE HEARD THAT WES THE FIRST HERO IS HERE. WHERE IS HE? TELL ME!" He shouted, the words coming out almost as loud as thunder itself. "Why don't you put that man down." Wes' voice spoke. The large man who was a foot taller than Wes' dropped the pedestrian to the floor as he scurried away to a woman and two young children, most likely his family. He grinned evilly at Wes. "Found you." He said in a quietter voice but still with anger remaining. "What do you want with me...Dakim?" Wes asked staring up at the man with a calm voice amber eyes looking a bit annoyed from his commotion. "I'm touched." The voice this Dakim individual had was deep, stern and rude. He talked with a mean look and tone. "You remembered my name." "Yeah but you need to get out of here." Wes was beginning to think hard why he was here looking for him. Their connections years ago, twelve years in fact were solid as rock. He was a really rough man then and most likely still is. But back then this man was a Cipher Administrator. Did that mean Cipher, the evil Syndicate run by the tyrannical Evice was back? Again? "Sorry Wes but my mission was to find you and confirm your existance by our master. He also gave me permission to do this-" And with that last word, a huge fist curved to the side of Wes' head aiming for the temple using his right arm. But a smaller gloved hand stopped it with his arm as well. Wes returned with a punch to his core but Dakim's other free hand was used to swat the oncoming fist away. He's quick for a big man if he was able to stop that. Wes thought. Dakim advanced forward with his heavy foot rising off of the floor straight on to kick Wes in the chin. Wes arched his head back feeling the foot real close to his face just missing the target and he grabbed Dakim by his ankle from his missed kick and stepped forward. Wes closed in on Dakim and extended his arm forward opening his hand and palm smashed the man in his chest so hard, Dakim was launched high into the air and slammed roughly into the wall just above the exit sign, peices of the wall falling to the marble floor as he met it very abruptly. He stood spitting a mixture of saliva and some blood out his mouth. "You sure have grown. Too bad you're not strong enough to handle the Master. Well my mission is complete. Be seeing you bastard." And Dakim turned away and dashed through the exit sign sprinting on the tracks. Rui approached Wes now that the chaos was over. "Wes, that was Dakim. What was he doing here?" "You remember him too huh? Well I wish it weren't true but by what Dakim said about a Master and a mission, my guest's, Cipher is back." "You don't really think that for a third time after being handled by that kid Michael we heard about when we were gone that they still would try to come back again do you?" "I think you are underestimating Cipher. They are back it seems so we'll have to fight them again. Let's just hope they don't bring back Shadow pokemon with them too." Rui laughed alittle. "Yeah I don't feel like shouting, a shadow pokemon any more." Wes' PDA rang in his inner coat pocket and he opened it looking at the message he recieved. Wes, I heard from Will you had returned to Orre. But I need you to come to Pyrite. It's Fateen she's dying and she requested to see you. Please hurry I'm not sure how long it'll be. Your friend, Duke. "It's Duke," Wes said to Rui. "Fateen is dying. He looked at her with a sad expression. Rui looked back at him with an equal look in her violet eyes after what Wes had just said. He turned back to the people who were all looking at the two of them. Some began to say things like, "It's him...That's Wes the Snagger...Our First Hero...and his partner...our heroine...They've returned." "Hey everyone I would loved to stay and chat but we gotta go so bye." And with that Wes and Rui departed from Realgam Tower. *** Arriving to good old Pyrite Town, Wes and Rui were at the entrance. Pyrite Town was the roughest part of Orre. Many crooks, drug dealers, and troublemakers come here so often. With the police forces in the town so small their was only but so much they could do. But it was calm for the moment. There would be a couple of mean looking pokemon trainers deeper in town but Wes' destination was at the front. "YO WES!" Wes saw someone approaching them at a jog, a young dude maybe in his mid-twenties around Wes and Rui's age if not younger. He had dark green long hair halting at his shoulders. He had an athletic build, his arms were somewhat bulky but this guy was still slim. "Hey Cail." Wes greeted his old friend he hadn't seen in twelve long years. "How you been?" "Okay and yourself man?" Cail's voice was a medium tone, not to low and not to high. His black eyes studied Wes and Rui. "Man you guys look great. It's been so long." "We've been good now coming back from our vacation." Wes explained. "That was some vacation. Dude you were gone for twelve years." Cail sported a black jean jacket with the sleeves torn off and black baggy jeans as well. He wore on his front a grey tinktop and a pair of black glasses slipped on the shirt for later use. He had on his feet a pair of tan Timberlands and on his hands fingerless gloves. Cail could be said to be handsome. "Yeah." There was more to Wes' vacation with Rui he didn't want to obviously talk about. Cail was right, a vacation never lasts twelve years. "But look old friend of mine, we have to meet Duke at Fateen's home." "Oh yeah, I was there earlier. She ain't looking too good man. Heard she was dying on us." Cail suddenly turned serious about Fateen. "Well yall get going and it was nice seeing yall again." "You two." Wes said. "Bye Cail." Rui waved turning back to Wes. "See yall." *** "How's she doin'?" Asked the large beefy man with huge tree trunk arms. He wore a maroon muscle shirt and black pants with maroon mountain boots. He had a face of long history with a thick mustache wearing a black hat concealing most of his short black hair. His black eyes looked very worried as he put his rugged hand on the much older hand with veins viewable. "Not so well sir." Said the doctor removing the turquise gloves from his hands and putting them away in his leather bag. He was taking the stethascope from off his neck into his bag as well looking at the man asking questions. "Sorry to inform you of this but...Fateen will not make it. I'm sorry but there isn't much time. The best thing for her now is to just make her last days peaceful." "No, she's Fateen, my grandmother. A strong woman like her, will lasts much longer than a few days." The big man assured as the doctor left turning back to the old woman lying in a bed. Her eyes were closed and many wrinkles and her ninety-three year old skin was dry and withering. Her old grey hair was short and laid around the back of her head. Moments later after the door shut from the doctor's departure, it opened again with Wes and Rui entering. The last time he had seen Wes he was young, at least seventeen years old and Rui a year older or so. He was shorter full of energy. Now twelve years later, he was a young man. He was taller and more masculine and had grown tougher over the years. Rui was looking greater than before. Fully blossomed from her teenage days now a full grown woman. Her ginger hair was longer and her body had grown and developed in all the right places. They were adults. "Wes, Rui!" "Duke, it's so great to see you again big guy. You got bigger in muscle man." Wes greeted. "It's great to see you two again." His deep booming voice was soft at the moment. The whites of his eyes looked to have been red from tears. "Hello Duke, nice to see you again after so long." Rui greeted. "Yes, twelve years is a long time." Duke agreed. "So how is she?" Wes asked looking at the room ahead which was Fateen's bedroom. "Not well I just sent the doctor home. He said she's goin' to die soon. But I say in about two weeks. She's a strong woman." "What's the cause?" Rui asked. "No idea. Even the doctor can't be sure what her sickness is. He claims its her time. But how can that be?" Duke asked himself speaking to them still. Wes arched an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" "C'mere." Wes and Rui followed Duke into Fateen's bedroom. They both looked at her sickly face. Fateen, the gifted fortune teller of the rowdy Pyrite Town was dying. "Look at this." Duke pointed down at a puke bucket filled halfway not with vomit but a dark tone of blood almost as dark as oil. "You see this blood. She started vomitin' blood a few days ago and just yesterday she got this bad to where it got this dark. Why she's throwin' up blood is a mystery but why its darkening is troubling me." "Could be a virus." Wes insisted. "Could be but that's not why you are here." Duke explained. "What other reason than me being here before her time should I be here-" "W-Wes, is...th-that you?" Came the old craggy female voice of Fateen, Duke's grandmother and fortune teller of Pyrite Town. "Fateen, yes I'm here." Wes assured her kneeling down gently grasping her weak old hand. "What do you need?" "I need to warn you of the coming of dark forces..." She coughed out some blood which Duke quickly wiped away with a handkerchief. "Forgive me-" "That's okay you're fine. What dark forces?" Wes asked. "These dark forces are a powerful threat able to wipe life off the face of this earth. If not stopped, darkness will envelope this world forever corrupting every living and nonliving thing on earth." "What are they?" Wes asked, Rui listening carefully, and Duke remaining silent. "The most foul creatures you will ever face. Shadow Pokemon..." There came another cough, this one free of blood. "Shadow Pokemon!" Wes exclaimed standing up, walking around, gloved hand on forehead shaking his head. "I hoped this day would never come." "But it can't be that bad right? I mean you can just snag them and turn them back to normal right babe?" Rui asked seeming to believe this would be simple if they had to deal with Shadow Pokemon again. "No Rui. These aren't the same artificial ones we dealt with during the First Incident before. These are real savage shadow fiends that I wouldn't even call pokemon." "What?" Rui said loudly. "How can that be?" "Well hidden from human access is the origin of these real Shadow pokemon." Fateen weakly continued. Simply speaking of such dark matters was obviously putting a great strain on her. "The Xtra Dimension." Wes explained. "The what?" Rui said looking bewildered "The home of real Shadow Pokemon Rui. Earth's evil shadow. Not those fake aura beings you could see during the First Incident. These ones can be easily seperated in their own category. It's a parallel world inaccessable to our human means. The Xtra Dimension was sealed though. So Fateen," Wes said turning back to the old fortune teller. "How is it that if they were sealed off that they are coming back." "This was not my usual fortune telling readings but a very true future sight I had no control over seeing in my sleep a long time ago before the Cipher's First Incident. The gate that once sealed the Xtra Dimension is crumbling. The two original ones that once put a stop to the shadow pokemon's reign of terror are pokemon as well. The controllers of Time and Space." "Yes, I know of the tale and I always took it into consideration that the myth of how Orre was terrorized by the original Shadow Pokemon thousands of years ago might have been true. How they were stopped and sent back to the world they came from by the ones who reign over the Sands of Time and Cosmic World of Space." "Yes I remember now." Rui came in. "My grandparents always told about the Shadow Millenium Myth as a bedtime story when I was little. The dark times when Orre was reigned by those evil monsters and their ruler, The King of the Xtra Dimension. I'd always go to sleep remembering the two heroes of that time that sealed them off into their world trapping them forever and securing them with an unbreakable spell to keep them locked within for all eternity." "Yes, yes Rui. Your grandparents would've known all about that." Fateen struggled to say. "After those chaotic times came to a close, it is also believed to ensure all essense of shadows was completly purged from Orre, in case any elemental threat arrived, a guardian was deployed at the Agate Village. It was another pokemon with some abilities to time travel, Celebi. But it could only be called by use of the time flute." "Of course," Wes remembered. "But Fateen, I used the three time flutes that I found during the First Incident to purify the artificially created shadow Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. There are no more. I could never reach Celebi." "Ah so I expected." Fateen anticipated Wes to say this. "But there were two spirits; spirit of the Kitno Forest and spirit of the Eclo Canyon. It is supposedly a myth of their existance but that's far from fiction. Both were created by higher beings to ensure safety seeing as how Celebi wasn't always a reliable source of security." "Then what should I do now then?" Wes asked needing a league. "You must go to the location where the gate will open soon." Fateen answered, eyes drifting to sleep little by little. "Down Under." "What? Down Under?" Wes said scratching his scalp through his hair. Then Rui figured out what Fateen was saying. "Wes, she means The Under." "The Under? You mean the underground city beneath Pyrite Town?" Wes said. "Yes." Fateen answered. "There long ago is where the Gate was created to seal off the Xtra Dimension's shadow pokemon. But time, erosion, and human construction has changed Orre and buried it. Back then it is said that once the Gate was produced, the Time and Space Rulers ordered native pokemon to hide it from humans. So either way is a likely story." Fateen coughed again. "Forgive me for I am weak. My age is taking its toll over me. If only I had warned you much sooner before I had grown old." "No it's not your fault." Wes promised her. "This happens at a certain point to all humans. This is not unfortunate fate, more of something to embrace. Now please rest for a bit." "Please Fateen take a rest." Rui added on. *** Michael and Kylia returned to the Lab to see Jovi and her best friend Emily sitting by the front steps. Emily was a cute young girl, a year younger than Jovi who was sixteen. She had brown hair held back in a bun and wore a white shirt and a brown skirt. "Hey big bro." Jovi waved seeing Michael and then Kylia. "Yeah, yeah." Michael turned to Kylia. "Hey I'm going inside to train using the SIM Station to battle. I'll see you later. Oh and about today, it never happend got it." Michael looked at her winking which Jovi caught notice of. "Okay see yah." Kylia said understanding. After watching Michael take a right turn towards the main entrance, Emily turned to Kylia. "So, how many inches?" She asked anxiously waiting for an answer. "WHAT?" Kylia asked with a face full of surprise not liking where this subject was going. "You know," and Jovi's friend pointed inbetween her closed legs. Kylia threw her arms up in the air looking at the sky, "We didn't do anything!" She said. And she left entering the lab through the side door. "They did something." Once it falls the Xtra Dimension will once again reopen... Very soon all of the darkness that once tormented the Orre region... Only a matter of time... End_of_Part_2__________________________________________________________ Pokemon Techniques: N/A My Notes: If you don't know, the character Duke is called Duking in the games. I just modified the names a little. Whether Fateen is really Duke or Duking's grandmother is most likely not true. I made that up myself. Kylia is an original character and not in the game. Thanx for reading the second chapter.
