Part Two: Gary & Stephanie's Romance


Stephanie had convinced Gary to go on a vacation with her to California. "I hate 
romantic trips" Gary complained. "It'll be fun Gary" Steph said. "What about 
your Pokemon training?" Gary asked. "I left my Pokemon with Professor Oak" Steph 
replied. "You're not going to train?!" Gary exclaimed. "No, I-I-I just want to 
be with you" Steph stammered. Gary looked stunned by what she had said. "What do 
you mean you want to be with me?" Gary confusedly asked. "Gary I think I l-l-
lo…like you" Steph replied. Gary smiled at her and kissed her cheek. "Um…how 
romantic is California?" Gary nervously asked. "Oh, pretty romantic" Steph 
replied. Gary nearly fainted at that. "I'm only sixteen and I can't be as 
romantic as an adult" Gary said. "I don't want you to be that romantic" Steph 
said. "Ok" Gary said. Gary took her to a fancy restaurant and paid for a big 
fancy meal. "Gary you're a real sweet guy!" Steph exclaimed. Gary smiled and 
kissed her lips. "I love you Gary" Steph said. "I love you too Stephanie" Gary 
said. Steph smiled at Gary looking up at the bright moon enjoying the moment. 

The next day morning Steph rushed downstairs to see Gary but he was gone. Steph 
asked the clerk where he went but the clerk didn't know. "Gary? Are you…hi 
James" Steph said. "Hello Stephanie. What are you doing here?" James asked. "I'm 
looking for Gary" Steph replied. "Gary Oak?" James queried. "Yes" Steph replied. 
"I haven't seen him around here" James said. "Where's Jessie?" Steph asked. 
"She's getting us some ice-cream" James replied. Steph quickly rushed out 
ignoring Jessie who at the time was walking up to James. Stephanie sat on a 
bench and cried because James had broken her heart and Gary was gone off 
somewhere. Steph was slowly getting up when Gary came walking up to her. "Where 
have you been?" Steph asked. "I went to get you some gifts" Gary replied. "You 
should have told me" Steph said. "Why?" Gary asked. "Cause I was realy worried 
about you" Steph replied. "Well it's not like you're my girlfriend" Gary said. 
Stephanie began crying at this. Her crying stunned Gary. "Why are  you crying?" 
Gary asked. "Cause you don't want to be my boyfriend" Steph replied. "I'll be 
your boyfriend" Gary said. "Really?" Steph asked. "Yes, I'll be your boyfriend" 
Gary replied. Stephanie gave Gary a huge kiss on the lips.

Gary smiled as they went to dinner. "Why do you love me?" Gary asked. "Cause 
you're funny" Steph replied. "Really! Well do you thin I'm a hot guy?" Gary 
asked. "Yes" Steph replied. Gary smiled at her then James came in with Jessie. 
"Hiya Stephie" James called. "Hello Stephony" Jessie taunted. "Leave her alone!" 
Gary yelled. Then James made his way over to Gary. "What was that shrimp?" James 
asked. "I said leave her alone" Gary replied with confidence. James smirked as 
he punched Gary in the face. Gary came out with a black eye but he was ok. "I 
didn't know James was so strong" Gary said. "Yeah he's been working out for 
Jessie" Steph said. Gary noticed how sad Steph looked when she said that. "Are 
you ok?" Gary asked. "Oh, I'm fine. It's just I use to date James but he dumped 
me to be with Jessie" Steph sadly replied. "Oh, I'm sorry" Gary said. Steph 
smiled and kissed Gary's lips. Steph knew it was time to get over James and move 
on with some one like Gary.

"I don't think about him that much" Steph said. "Yeah well do you miss him?" 
Gary asked. "Sometimes but usually not" Steph replied. James walked up to Gary 
trying to look menacing. "Well, well if it isn't black eye Gary, the Johto 
League lost to the twerp, Ash, baby, boy" James taunted. "Well, well if it isn't 
James falls in his own pitfalls, can't catch Pikachu, doesn't get a raise, Team 
Rocket, loser" Gary taunted back. James smirked and gave Gary a second black 
eye. "I think you should've been quiet" Steph said. "Yeah" Gary agreed. "Why did 
you taunt him back?" Steph asked. "I wanted to show that I could taunt him right 
back" Gary replied. "Yeah but I think you shouldn't have added the can't get a 
raise part" Steph said. "Yeah maybe" Gary agreed.

Gary smiled as he took Steph to a romantic movie. James glared at Gary as he 
entered the same movie. Gary looked ticked when he saw James but ignored him. 
Steph lay on Gary's chest. James smiled and kissed Jessie. Gary enjoyed the 
movie and headed back to the hotel with his love Steph.
