“Two Worlds, Two Loves, and One Adventure” A Poke’mon/Inu-yasha cross-over. Chapter One: “Two Worlds” “Goodbye, Inu-yasha!” yelled Naraku evilly as he flung Inu- yasha and Kagome into a rip in the time/space continuum. “Inu-yasha!” Kagome screamed, trying to find him in the darkness. “Kagome, grab my hand.” Inu-yasha yelled back, trying to keep his voice calm so as not to scare her more than she already was. “Now clam down. I’ve got you. We’re probably gonna hit the ground pretty hard, so hold on tight and whatever you do, don’t let go you stupid girl.” he yelled over the vacuum- like din surrounding them. He immediately regretted calling her ‘stupid girl’ when he saw how scared she was. “Kagome,” he whispered softly in her ear “, everything will be okay. Just make sure you stay on top of me so I’ll hit the ground first. It’s okay. I promise I’ll always protect you, no matter what world we’re in.” With that he pulled her closer to him, holding her tightly in his arms, seeing she was still shaking. “Inu-yasha” whispered Kagome softly before they both passed out. When he woke up, Inu-yasha was lying on the ground, his arms tight around Kagome. His first thought was to wake Kagome up, but remembering how scared she was before, decided to let her rest. Inu-yasha then noticed she had stopped shaking. She didn’t look scared, but still had a tight hold on his kimono. As Kagome started to stir, Inu-yasha made sure not to move a muscle. “Where are we?” she said sleepily. “I don’t know.” was his grim reply. Meanwhile, while all this was going on, we join our other two human heroes and however many nonhuman heroes (poke’mon) they have with them at the time. “Gee, without Brock and Tracey, things are sure gonna be different.”said a tall, handsome, slightly built boy with jet black, spiky hair, brown eyes, blue jeans, a dark green, almost black T- shirt, green fingerless gloves, a red and white and green cap, and a blue short sleeve jacket. “Yeah. I guess it’s just you and me from now on.” commented his companion, a tall, pretty, delicate looking girl with fiery red hair, beautiful blue-green eyes, a voice that sounded like a crystal bell, very short blue jean shorts, a yellow cropped tank top, and red suspenders. “Pi, Pikapi!”(Yo, Ash!) “Oh, right, let’s go Pikachu.” the boy called Ash said to his Pikachu. “Togepi pi toge!” (Let’s go Mommy and Daddy!) “Okay, okay Togepi. Hey Misty, you ready?” asked Ash playfully. “Let’s go!” Misty laughed. And so they started walking. “We should be in Pallet next month.” said Ash. “Yeah, if you don’t get us lost first.” Misty joked. “Hey!” Ash yelled and started to chase her, both of them laughing the entire time. Later, completely exhausted, they stopped by a beautiful little lake. “Hey Mist, did you hear something just now?” Ash questioned. “Yeah. Pikachu, stay here and keep an eye on Togepi. Come on Ash.” Misty said in a businesslike tone. “Coming!” was Ash’s reply. They walked a little way into the woods nearby and soon heard voices. Disclaimer: I do not own Poke’mon or Inu-Yasha. (Well duh.) Author’s notes: I know this is a really bad attempt at writing a story, but nobody can say I didn’t try. By the way, this story is pretty much dedicated to my friend Lenden, who is my editor, a great writer, and a great friend. Also, I know there’s not much action yet, but just be patient. This is my first fic after all. I’m not too experienced as of yet. My E-mail address is thesagefive@snowcrest.net and reviews would be nice. Oh, by the way, if you’ve seen Inu-yasha and are a Kikyo fan, don’t read this. I hate her and diss her a lot. I think Kagome and Inu-yasha are perfect together. Yeah, and if you haven’t seen it, it’s a really cool series about a girl named Kagome who falls through a magic well into the feudal era of Japan, where she meets this half-demon named Inu-yasha, who has to help her find the shards of the sacred Shikon jewel. They make new friends and battle demons, bla, bla, bla, yadda, yadda. You get the idea. Well, see ya! By: Sword of Romance
