Hey everybody, I'm back! You're probably all scared to death, and let's face it, I don't blame you. And now to business. Beecan 2- Well, you're the only one who reviewed this time. "Two Worlds, Two Loves, and One Adventure" A Poke'mon/Inu-yasha crossover Chapter 4 b: "The Boys' plan" So the three headed back to Ash's house. There they watched tv for roughly four hours before Misty woke up and slowly descended the steps from Ash's room. Inu-yasha heard her first, but just smiled slightly and kept his mouth shut. As soon as Ash heard the fourth stair from the bottom creak, he immediately got up and hurtled over the couch, successfully tripping himself and sending himself face-first to eat carpet. "You okay Ash? What, do you like the taste of carpet?" Misty laughed. Ash picked himself up and dashed over to Misty. "You okay? Saydoyouwanttogoforawalklaterormaybenow?"Ash blurted out as soon as he reached her. "Er . . . What did you say Ash? You're talking too fast." Misty replied in a confused tone. "I, um . . . um asked, do you want to, um, go for a walk with me later or, um, maybe now?"Ash choked out nervously. 'Why now. Why do I have to get nervous now?' Ash thought nervously. Inu-yasha mentally sweatdropped. 'That idiot. The fireworks were his idea in the first place.' Inu-yasha thought. While Inu-yasha was musing over Ash's actions, Kagome snuggled against him. 'Oh well. At least I can be close to him right now. As soon as we get back Inu-yasha will go running straight back to Kikyo.' Inu-yasha noticed that Kagome was cuddled up to him and instinctively tensed up and then, as if it were a second thought, Kagome felt his muscles loosen beneath her head, which was resting on Inu-yasha's shoulder. Ash and Misty then went on their walk. As for Mrs. Ketchum, she went to the grocery store and then went to Professor Oak's to teach him how to cook her famous cheese tortellini. Ash and Misty's walk took them to a tall, deserted hill on the beach of Lake Pallet. A person could see the night sky perfectly from the top. The reason it was deserted was that there was a story about the hill being haunted. Ash had never believed the story, but thought it best to be cautious anyway. Ash plopped himself down on the grassy hill and Misty sat down beside him soon after. They stared at the sky for a moment then at each other. Ash seemed to be under a spell as he stared into Misty's blue- green eyes. He brought his brain reluctantly back down to Earth and told Misty to look at the sky. Misty's hands began to twitch in her lap as she thought about Ash. They stared at the sky for perhaps thirty more seconds before fireworks came out of nowhere and lit up the sky in a shower of gold, pink, and green sparkles. Ash, who had been expecting this, was completely un-amazed. Misty however, was speechless and utterly stunned. "Did you bring me up here on this hill to see the fireworks Ash?" Misty finally managed to ask. "That and I, um, I, I, I, um . . . Misty I wanted to tell you something." Ash said. "What?" Misty asked, obviously confused as to why Ash was so nervous. "Misty I like you or what I mean to say is, I love you." Ash stuttered. Disclaimer: Do I look like I own Poke'mon and Inu-yasha to you, cause I don't. Author's Notes: Well that's chapter 4b. Kind of a cliffhanger, isn't it? Will Misty laugh in Ash's face or will she say that she has feelings for him as well? And what about Inu-yasha and Kagome? What will happen with them?
