Well I'm back in business. E-mail program's fixed and everything. So let's get this show on the road! Biancapi: I'm so happy that you like the story. I totally agree with you. Kikyo must and will die. I hate her too. I hope she gets . . . (insert random torture word) Anyway, read on and enjoy! Dog Demon Inu-yasha: You know, I think you're right. Just because the trainer specializes in one particular poke'mon doesn't mean they can't have other poke'mon too. I'll keep your suggestion in mind while I'm writing Chapter 6. Also, someone else reviewed but the spam filter on my e-mail account deleted it, so thank you, who ever you are. One last note: Inu-yasha and Kagome might be OC in this chapter. Just giving you a fair warning. "Two Worlds, Two Loves, and One Adventure" An Inu-yasha/Poke'mon Crossover Chapter 5: " A Wonderful Argument" "You, you mean that?" Misty asked uncertainly. "With all my heart." Ash nervously replied. "Ash . . ." Misty choked out. Slowly Ash slipped his arms around Misty's waist and ever so slightly dipped his head making his lips met Misty's in a soft, but passionate kiss. Ash had no idea what he was doing, but decided to let his body do it for him. After all, this was the first time he had ever kissed a girl besides his mother. How was he supposed to know what to do? Ash hesitantly moved his head and broke the kiss. He stared at the ground, then back at his love. He was afraid of what her reaction might be. Misty didn't need words to tell Ash how she felt about him. Her eyes, filled with reassurance and love spoke volumes. She simply looked Ash straight in the eye and then resumed watching the fireworks above them, her head resting on Ash's shoulder, her face giving off a happy glow. At the Ketchum residence sometime earlier, Kagome and Inu-yasha got bored and shut off the T.V. One can only watch anime for so long after all. (Yeah sure. I could watch anime all day) A tape player sat in the corner and Kagome got an idea. "Inu- yasha, do you know who to dance?" Kagome questioned. "Yeah." was his gruff reply. He knew because he had watched Kagome dance by herself countless times. He couldn't help it. She was just so beautiful. "So, do ya want to dance?" asked Kagome with a touch of nervousness. "Feh. Why not? There nothing else to do." Inu-yasha grumbled. Secretly he wanted nothing more than to dance the night away with Kagome in his arms. And so Kagome turned on the music as she and Inu-yasha started to dance. For the first four songs the two stayed far apart, but as slow rhythms and romantic daydreams sunk into their bodies and minds, they moved closer together. By the end of the fifth song Inu-yasha had Kagome snug in his arms which were wrapped around her slim waist as her head and arms were resting on his broad shoulders. Two songs later the tape ended, though no one noticed it. Inu-yasha and Kagome began dancing to music only they could hear. They had been lost in each other's eyes. Suddenly memories flowed back to Kagome. Memories of how happy Inu-yasha was when he was with Kikyo. Kagome then realized she was staring into Inu-yasha's golden eyes and quickly looked down at the floor. They slowly stopped revolving although they didn't separate. Kagome spoke first. "You should be here with Kikyo instead of me." Kagome said sorrowfully, moving away from him. Inu-yasha's voice erupted angerly, "Look, get this through your head you stupid girl, I don't love Kikyo. I love you." He winced as he finished. He hadn't meant to tell her that. Inu-yasha barely had time to register that fact as Kagome threw herself into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably into his chest. He decided to just let her cry. Some time later Kagome stopped crying and looked up at him. She started to say something apologetic about crying so much, but Inu-yasha interrupted her by placing a finger to her lips. "Has anyone ever told you that you talk too much?" he said with a mixture of sarcasm and affection in his soft voice. Before Kagome had a chance to reply to the remark, Inu-yasha removed his finger and placed a short, chaste kiss on her astonished lips. They slowly began to revolve again. "Inu-yasha . . ." Kagome's voice drifted up to his fluffy ears from somewhere in the region of his chest. "Hm." he replied gently. "You should be with Kikyo instead of me. I mean, she's everything I'm not. She's smart, pretty, an expert with a bow and arrow . . . everything." she trailed off. "Yeah, everything. Cold, boring, an idiot, hateful, horrible, need I go on? Part of me will always care about her, I can't do anything about that. Listen to me though Kagome. In my eyes you're everything she's not." Inu- yasha said with a kind of caring firmness. "Really?" Kagome sniffled. "Really." he reassured and bent slightly to capture her lips in a sweet kiss. The two danced for the rest of the night until Kagome fell asleep in his arms. Inu-yasha then picked her up gingerly in his arms and put her lightly in bed and left her side. But before he retreated he placed a kiss on her forehead and whispered, "I love you, my dear Kagome." Meanwhile, on the hill, the fireworks display ended so Ash and Misty began to make their way home, laughing, talking, joking, and in general having the time of their lives. When they arrived home Inu-yasha was the only one who was awake. Misty yawned and quietly withdrew to her bed while Ash spoke to Inu-yasha about certain ‘events'. Disclaimer: Me no own, so you no sue. Author's notes: Gee, I wonder what certain events Inu-yasha and Ash are talking about. ^_~! Anyway I just realized that I never said how old they are. Kagome's 15, Ash is 14, Misty's 15, and Inu-yasha is 17. (Not counting the fifty years pinned to the tree.) Well, read and pretty please review. The next chapter will end our story. And last but not least a shameless plug. I have a story now on FanFiction.Net in the Kingdom Hearts section, or at least I will have it in a week or so. Kingdom Hearts is my favorite video game. Have any of you out there ever played it? Anyways, don't worry. All my future Poke'mon fics will be posted here at the Poke'mon Tower. See ya minna-san! Sword of Romance
