Chapter 2
Meowth’s Tale  
 
     Meowth started telling them everything he saw, or at least as best that he 
could. Meowth was about to call in and report, when he saw a weird kid walk out 
onto the road. He had just one arm, and looked mad as hell. Meowth decided to 
wait, because it seemed as though the kid could hear him. Eventually, Gary drove 
by. That red car of his came barreling down the road, and it looked as if it 
would hit the weird guy, but he never even moved. Gary had to swerve out of the 
way to avoid him.
     Gary was mad, and shouted, “What the hell are you doing! You want to get 
killed Are you listening to me” 
     The weird kid didn’t pay attention, and just walked over to Gary. Gary 
stared for a minute or two, then something clicked. “Hey, I know you! You’re 
that Rick guy from Ash’s funeral! How you doing Wait, you used to have red hair 
didn’t you Did you like, dye it black” Suddenly, comprehension dawned on Gary. 
“Oh my freaking God. Ash”
     “Boy, it took you long enough. I used to think you were smart. And don’t 
worry, I’m not mad about the whole, insulting me at my funeral, leaving me for 
dead thing.” Ash paused. “No, wait, I am! That’s right, I remember now! I came 
here to put you in traction, and later kill you! How could I forget Charizard, 
Pikachu, come!”
     Come they did, but even at this distance, Meowth could tell something was 
wrong. They both looked positively feral! Their eyes glowed a dark crimson, and 
they looked as if they would kill on command. And that’s exactly what Ash did. 
He said in a chilling, commanding voice, “Kill.” 
     Charizard and Pikachu went berserk at this. They immediately rushed Gary. 
Pikachu went for his neck, while Charizard went for the girls in the car. Once 
Charizard was finished, he went to help Pikachu. Meowth knew right then he had 
to get out of there. But just as soon as he was turning around, he heard a voice 
saying, “Pika pika chu” (Hey Meowth, where you going”)
     The next thing Meowth felt were flames searing at his back, then he saw 
nothing but two, glowing, red eyes. Then all he saw was black.
