Chapter 6 Ash Takes a Break Surprisingly, Ash didn’t go right to Cerulean City. He headed to his current residence: A secret cave behind a hidden waterfall. He instructed Charizard and Pikachu to wait outside. As Ash went inside the cave, he was greeted by the sounds of struggling. It was Tracy Sketchit and Richie (Does that kid even have a last name?) who were struggling, and they were struggling because they were tied to a pair of stalactites. “Hello my friends, I’m back. Who’s up for some dinner?” Ash asked, as though he had come home to this scene a thousand times before. He let them both down. “I advise against making a run for it. My pokemon are outside.” Ash politely informed them. “Okay, Ash? This may seem like a stupid question, but what in the name of all that is holy and good are you doing?” Tracy exploded. “What? I’m just wreaking my horrible vengeance upon all those who abandoned me. You both left to look for me, so you get to live. I just need to go take care of Misty and Mom, then I can come back here for some sleep.” “WHAT?! You mean you’ve already killed Gary, Prof. Oak, and Brock?” shouted Richie. “Of course not. I just went there to scare them and let them know I’m back. If all I wanted to do was kill them, I’d be done by now!” Ash said, with a calmness that was really infuriating. “Say what?” said both Richie and Tracy. “Look, it’s simple. I want the stuff I left everyone back. I figure I’ll make their deaths more fun by scaring the life out of them first.” Ash explained. While Ash was babbling, Tracy spied something on the ground while Ash wasn’t looking. It was a sharp rock, it might be able to cut through the ropes…. “So anyway, I thought that I’d just take a break and maybe eat some dinner. I’ve had a busy day after all.” He grinned an evil grin. “So come on, I’ll fix something to eat.” The meal they all ate was a simple stew, which they all ate silently. Ash was contemplative for a moment, then yelled to Pikachu and Charizard, “Hey guys, why don’t you come in for a bite to eat?” They both walked in, and, needless to say, Richie and Tracy were shocked. “HOLY ****!! What the hell did you do to them??” Screamed Richie. He quickly grabbed a poke ball, and threw it. “Go Sparky!” The Pikachu that Richie owned appeared, then screamed in horror at what he saw when he looked at Pikachu. This, by the way, is no small feat, considering they can’t scream. “Sparky, talk to Pikachu.” Richie instructed. “Pika pika chu pika chu! Pikachu Pika!” (Are you out of your %%%%ing MIND?! I aint goin’ anywhere near that thing!) “DO IT!” Sparky obeyed, but wasn’t happy about it. After some quick dialogue, Sparky went back over to Richie. “Well, what did he say?” Richie asked. “Pika pika chu Pikachu pika.” (Nothing much. Mostly ‘kill, kill, kill.’ The phrase “kill me, for the love of God!” was there a couple of times.) “Say what?” Richie was confused. “Pika pika.” (Seems the whole transformation thing hurts like hell. He doesn’t even want to kill, but has to look eager for Ash. How did I manage all this with two words?) Richie didn’t catch the last part, but didn’t worry about it too much. He was more concerned about Ash. He was right to, Ash was laughing, which had to be a bad sign. “Hahahaha! Who’d have thought I’d come to this! I’m killing off everyone I ever cared about, (with the obvious exception of you two!), and I’m sitting here as if it was the most natural thing in the world!” Ash started to laugh hysterically, much to the worry of Tracy. Then the laughs turned into screams. He just lied down there on the ground screaming, writhing around in agony. He started yelling, but Tracy and Richie could barely understand, it was like Ash was yelling at someone no one else could see. “Leave me alone! Shut up! No, I won’t! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!” He basically went on this way for a few minutes, and for the first time, Ash looked almost like he did when they had first known him. His eyes were their normal color, and that damned gemstone from hell he wore had gone dark. Pikachu and Charizard had reverted to their original forms. Suddenly, he stopped. His eyes went back to their blood red color, and Pikachu and Charizard transformed back into killing machines. He said softly to himself, “You are mine now, punk! Your body, your mind, all mine!” He turned to his pokemon. “Tie them back up!” He commanded. After they had done so, he jumped onto Charizard’s back and flew off, towards Cerulean City and Misty….
