Juno’s Journey Sorry, this is soo short. The first few chapters, ie. Chapters 1-4 were written a while ago, aso its kin of bad writing. Also, if u think I plagiarized this, no I am kmaddness64 on ezboard, where I posted this fic at the ultimate board of cool stuff, and various other sites. I don’t own pokemon, so don’t shoot me Nintendo. Chapter 1 “Juno!” His mother called. “Your just in time! Professor Redwood would like to tell you something.” Juno wearily rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and waited for whatever the god prof had in store for him. “Ah Juno!” said Redwood. “As you know, your 12 yrs old, and have come of age. You are now ready to embark on your very own pokemon quest!” Juno couldn’t believe his ears! He was going to fulfill his dream after all. “However, there is one condition.” said the good professor, “You must first pass a test. The test is simple. Chose an egg and raise it for a month. If it hasn’t hatched by then, then you must wait another year. The pokemon that hatches from the egg will be your new partner.” He led Juno to the living room where ten eggs were laid out. After thinking a bit, Juno couldn’t come to the right decision. “It’s ok, take your time.” said Redwood. Finally Juno singled one egg out from the rest. It was a cool yellow color with faint orange streaks running through it. “Good choice!” said the prof. It has been a few days’s since Juno received his pokemon. He did everything with the egg. He rubbed it with a soft cloth, and read stories to it. And every night he placed it atop a heater with it’s setting at low, and he put a lamp over it. These two plus the egg being wrapped with a towel, kept the egg nice and warm. Then one day… “Honey, could you dry the dishes?” “Sure mom replied Juno.” He set the egg on the table and started to dry while his mom washed. A faint crack came from the egg. Juno’s mom heard it and asked Juno, “Son, is the egg hatching today?” Juno was ecstatic! His egg was hatching! Cracks started to form on the shell. His mom left the room and shut all the doors. She did this so that when the baby poke was hatched, it would see Juno, and see that he was the babe’s trainer. The shells cracked open, and the newly born poke stared at Juno blankly before hugging him. Then the poke said one word… “Elekid.”
