Part 6

Saturday March 27, 2004

2nd story today! We all want to thank everyone who voted for this story in 
the RCA. ^_^ Hope you enjoy!

Bobby’s P.O.V.

	Jenn and I tried to wake her up but couldn’t.

	“She’s lost a lot of blood.” I heard Jenn say. I stood up suddenly.

	“I’m going to get help.” Bobby said. He ran back inside the police station 
while Jenn frantically wrapped the wound with a handkerchief. Bobby came 
running out with 2 police officers.

	“What happened?” The same guy that questioned us asked.

	“We went to find her. I saw a pair of feet sticking out of the bushes. I 
looked and I saw Apryl’s face in the bushes and screamed. That’s how Jenn 
found me.” I explained.

	“Is this true?” The officer asked Jenn. She slowly nodded.

	“You have to call an ambulance! She has lost a lot of blood and needs 
help!” I heard myself say.

	“Go inside and call. There’s a pay phone there.” The officer told me. I 
rushed inside and frantically called an ambulance. As soon as the call was 
done, I rushed outside.

	“How’s she holding up?” I asked.

	“Not good.” Jenn replied with wet eyes. She had apparently been crying. In 
about 5 minutes, the ambulance came rushing up to the station and put Apryl 
inside on a stretcher. We asked to ride with her and they let us.

	“I don’t get this Bobby. Why would the serial killer want to attack Apryl?” 
Jenn asked. I thought about it for a second.

	“I don’t know. She obviously knew something.” I replied. “Then again, if it 
was the killer, how come he only cut her arm?” Jenn thought about that for a 
little while.

	“Well. Maybe there was a struggle of some sort.” Jenn said quietly. Before 
we knew it, we were at the hospital. We wanted to go in with Apryl while 
they stitched up her arm but the doctors wouldn’t let us.

	“You have to wait in the waiting room.” The doctor said for the 6th time.

	“Why? How come we can’t be with her?” Jenn asked angrily.

	“It’s hospital procedure. Now please wait in the waiting room or you’ll 
have to leave.” The doctor said with an annoyed tone. Jenn and I both walked 
grudgingly to the waiting room and plopped down.

	“This is so confusing Bobby.” Jenn said with her hands in her hair.

	“I know. Maybe Apryl saw the killer.” I suggested. Jenn then sat bolt 
upright.

	“Maybe. We need to ask her.” Jenn said. At that moment, the doctor came 
over to us.

	“Apryl’s fine now. You can go visit her.” The doctor said. We rushed up and 
ran into her room. Apryl was awake and looked a little better.

	“Apryl! Thank God you’re okay!” Jenn cried while happily hugging her.

	“Thank you Jenn.” Apryl replied. Jenn wiped a tear away from her eye.

	“Apryl, did you see who attacked you?” I asked.

	“No. I just remember being stabbed in the arm from behind. I fell into the 
bushes.” Apryl told them. I was disappointed.

	“What were you doing out there anyway?” Jenn asked.

	“I was trying to see what was going on in the question room.” Apryl 
replied. As we continued talking, a person lurked just outside the window…
