But the worlds were separated, thus leaving them to not know of the troubles of the others, then on one fateful night, a young man was thrown into events that he could not comprehend. The worlds have so many secrets that it would take a lifetime to understand. This is his tale… It was all peaceful in the Hoenn region until a storm that was so fierce it could tear a hole in the time-space continuum raged in Dewford Town. Ash woke from his dream to realize that the rain was harder than usual. Even Grovyle was frightened. Suddenly the rain stopped and all was well or so Ash and company thought. You see the storm had brought creatures to the world. Creatures of shadow, of darkness, and of evil. They were the beings of a forgotten realm, the Realm of Darkness. For these were the Heartless, evil beings from the darkness in the hearts of many. By the time the storm started up again Ash had gone back to sleep. There was an eerie sound coming from Dewford cave. Ash awoke to the strange noise. It sounded like the ground was ripping away. As he walked to the cave Ash thought that someone was following him. When Ash arrived at the cave, he saw a portal able to fit twelve Semi- trucks through and still have room for the kitchen sink that sat in the center of the cave valley. As Ash approached the portal the wind was stronger then the usual light breeze. Ash walked up the portal and soon he saw that the portal was ripping the world apart. The wind threw Ash out of the cave and he was knocked unconscious. When Ash awoke, he was not in his world. He did not know where he was. Things looked different then Hoenn region. There was no forest but a giant chasm, a castle, and buildings that were still under construction. He looked around the town and read the labels the stores had up that he was in. The shops sold many odd and peculiar items. One shop sold wands and shields. Another sold rings that “raised fire defense”. While others sold ice cream and created items using some weird elements like dark crystals and thunder shards with twilight crystals and dense gems. Just then he saw one of the shadows that destroyed his homeland. Ash, enraged by what they did to him, chased after the shadow but could not keep up. The shadow turned around and a group of shadows surrounded Ash. He looked helplessly on as the shadows began to close in. He thought about his adventures with his Pokemon, but just as a shadow was about to attack, three strange beings defeated the creatures and walk over to Ash. “What were those things?” Ash asked. “They are called Heartless,” the tall boy, who wore a black jumpsuit with red pockets and yellow straps all over, said raising a giant key he had in his hand. “They seek the hearts of people.” “I live because of your bravery, may I ask your names?” “I’m Sora,” the hero with the key said “Donald Duck,” the short one, who looked more like a duck holding a wand then a person, said. “Names Goofy,” the tallest one, who was in Ash’s eyes, was a dog with a shield, said. “Who are you?” “My name is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town.” Ash told the heroes “Where am I? How did I get here? And where are my Pokémon?” “You are in Hollow Bastion. I don’t care where you came from or how you got here but I can tell you one thing, your friends are, for all I care, gone.” A mysterious voice called to the gang. “You may use these Pokémon for our battle, Ash.” The voice was coming from behind them. Ash turned and saw a hooded figure in a black robe throw him three Pokeballs “Who are you? And how do you know my name?” Ash called out to the hooded figure. “I know a great deal about you Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town who’s first Pokemon was a Pikachu.” “STOP IT” Ash roared at the man. “I don’t know who you are. But leave my friends out of this.” “I am part of the Organization XIII and I challenge you, Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town, to a Pokémon battle. Winner take all.” At those words the hooded figure threw Ash six pokeballs. “Inside,” the hooded figure told Ash. “You will find three legendary Pokémon for you to fight with.” “Ash, we can’t fight him. Let’s go.” Sora shouted at Ash. “What about my friends?” “We’ll find them later. Now let’s go!” Ash did not know what to do. Should he fight and save his friends or run away with Sora, Donald, and Goofy to fight another day? Ash had to come up with something fast “I WILL NOT LEAVE MY FRIENDS!” Ash yelled at Sora. Ash grabbed the pokeballs. “Go, Pokeball.” A blinding flash of light shined out of the ball and took shape as a giant green dragon with yellow lines coming from its eyes down the entire length of the body. “I see you have chosen Rayquaza first. Well then, my turn. Go Deoxys.” The hooded figure threw his Pokeball and the same blinding light came out of the ball but this time the light formed an eerie creature that looked like something out of a science fiction picture. This was surely a Pokemon Ash had never faced before. Ash pulled out his Pokedex, a virtual encyclopedia on every Pokemon ever discovered, and looked up in formation on this Deoxys creature. The Pokedex had this to say, “The DNA of a space virus underwent a sudden mutation upon exposure to a laser beam and resulted in Deoxys. The crystalline organ on this Pokemon’s chest appears to be its brain. It can fool enemies by altering its appearance.” “Ok, Rayquaza. Hyper Beam.” “Deoxys, Teleport.” Rayquaza shot a bright yellow beam from its mouth at Deoxys, but Deoxys disappeared and landed behind Rayquaza thus causing Rayquaza’s Hyper Beam to miss. “Now Deoxys, Psychic.” At those words Deoxys’ eye began to glow a dark purple and lifted Rayquaza into the air. Deoxys then tossed Rayquaza to the ground and Rayquaza was out for the count. “Rayquaza, return.” Ash cried out to Rayquaza. A dull red light grew around Rayquaza from the center of the pokeball. In a matter of seconds Rayquaza was in the ball. “This isn’t over yet.” Ash grabbed another pokeball and tossed it into the field. The same blinding light that shined from the previous balls came out of this one as well but took the shape as a flaming bird. “So, it’s Moltres, you choose. Well then, go Lugia.” The hooded figure threw another ball and the same light took the shape as a white, blue, and black bird whose wings looked like hands. Ash took out his pokedex and looked up Lugia. The pokedex had this to say “It is said to be the guardian of the seas. It is rumored to have been seen on the night of a storm.” “Moltres, Ember.” Ash called out to the Pokémon. “Lugia, Mirror Move.” Lugia instantly copied Moltres’ Ember attack. “Fly!” Ash called out to Moltres “Thunder, Lugia” The hooded figure called to Lugia. Clouds started to form and lightning struck down all round. Moltres tried to dodge the attack but on lightning blot caught it off guard. Moltres started to fall. Ash quickly called Moltres back. “I will not continue this battle anymore. Tell me, who are you?” Ash yelled to the hooded figure. “I will not tell you! The fate of the world is in your hands and you would rather know the identity of your opponent! Ash, listen to what I have to tell you, every part of this battle has been a test. Every time your Pokémon was hurt you lost a piece of your memory.” The hooded figure told Ash harshly. “What do you mean losing my memory?” Ash asked the figure. “I mean that you have been forgetting things ever since you accepted my challenge.” The hooded figure told Ash. “This was my plan, to have you lose your memory. Thus I would change you into a Heartless and have control of your Nobody.” “Wait!” Sora screamed. “I know you! You’re Marluxia. Lord of Castle Oblivion.” The hooded figure removed his hood to reveal a person with long pink hair spiked up in curtain places. “Yes, Sora, I am Marluxia. You may have beaten me in Castle Oblivion but I have come back from the twilight to have my revenge.” Marluxia held his hand up to the sky and a pink scythe appeared in his hand. He then ran towards Sora and knocked him back. Ash looked at the pokeballs and threw the ball containing Rayquaza at Marluxia. “Rayquaza, Hyper Beam Attack!” Ash called out. An orange beam shot out of Rayquaza’s mouth and threw Marluxia into a wall. Bricks pounded down on him as he tried to get up covering him and knocking him unconscious. While Marluxia was knocked out, Ash ran to Sora helped him up and waited for Marluxia to wake up. When he did wake up, Ash and Sora would be ready. While they were waiting Sora explained what had happened to Ash’s world to have him land here. He also explained that the weapon he had was called the Keyblade, a weapon that could lock or unlock any kind of lock and even lock worlds or unlock the true power of the heart. Marluxia had not moved for quite some time now, so Sora and Ash had forgotten about him. Just then the bricks that had landed on Marluxia moved and Marluxia had jumped out of the ruble and lunged toward Sora. Sora had dropped his Keyblade. Ash looked helplessly on as Sora stared to lose. Just then, a shining light had engulfed Ash’s hand and when the light dimmed he saw that Sora’s Keyblade was in his hand. He ran towards Marluxia and slashed in the back but it had no effect. “Use the attack Trinity Limit” Sora told Ash with a raspy voice. Ash did as he was told and said the words Trinity. The Keyblade glowed with a bright orange aura that soon engulfed Ash as well. He then was lifted up in the air and was thrown towards Marluxia and hit him with several ferocious attacks. Then with one final blow Marluxia let go of his scythe and fell to the ground, freeing Sora. “How could I have lost to a kid. This is not over yet Ash and Sora, not over by a long shot.” With those words Marluxia vanished with a dark portal around him. “We did it.” Ash cheered as he ran over towards Sora, “Sora, are you all right?” “Yeah, I’m fine.” Sora said in a reassuring voice. The battle was over. Ash went with Sora to other worlds and looked for his friends as Sora did the same. THE END… OR IS IT?
