THE DREAMSPEAKER

	"I still don't understand." Gato told Ash's Pikachu.
	"Pipipi! Pikapi chu pikapika pichu chaa!" Pikachu yelled at Gato for about the fifth time.
	"I know that, but what did you say after that?" Gato asked.
	"Pichu chu pikapi!" Pikachu shouted.
	"That can't be good. How'd you guess that?" Gato asked.
	"Pichu pika pikachu pipipi chaa pikapi." Pikachu confirmed.
	"Interesting." Gato said with a nod.
	"Can I ask you this? What are earth are you two talking about?" asked Misty.
	Gato peered down at Misty from her head.
	"Were discussing important business that you humans wouldn't understand." Gato told her 
trainer.
	"Try us." Misty said.
	"Sorry. Pikachu and Gato business only." she said and turned to Pikachu who sat on Ash's head 
right next to her.
	"Forget it." Ash sighed.
	Sea Breeze laughed. 
	"I know what there saying." she teased to the humans.
	"What?" asked Brock.
	"Nothing that you'd be interested in." Luna giggled.
	Ash threw up his hands in defeat. Rachel laughed.
	"Maybe there talking about how to trick us into giving them our food." Rachel guessed.
	"Not even close, sister." Gato said.
	Ash, Misty, Brock, Sea Breeze, Rachel, Luna, Gato and Pikachu were walking down a long path 
in the woods. Rachel and Sea Breeze were there newest member in the group to help search for Echo. Sea 
Breeze was a beautiful unicorn with water powers that were very powerful. They had been walking for 
hours and finally, Rachel stopped.
	"Think we could take a rest?" she asked.
	"Sure, why not?" Ash said.
	"Fine with me." Misty agreed.
	They all sat down in the grass that was to there left side. The trees were thick and big. Everyone 
sat under them for shade. Gato and Pikachu went to there own tree to talk.
	(In English.)
	"Are you sure about all this? It seems more of a thing you wouldn't excepted." Gato asked 
Pikachu.
	Pikachu nodded.
	"I'm more than." he said.
	"How come is always seems to happen to Ash? Why not Misty? And how come we have to save 
them?" asked Gato.
	"There our trainers and its our job." Pikachu said with another nod.
	"Yeah, but were suppose to protect them and battle for them. Not worry about relationships and 
stuff."
	Pikachu shrugged. Gato sighed and suddenly, herd a noise. It was a low growling. Pikachu herd 
it to.
	"Let's go to the others." Gato said slowly.
	(Out English)
	Gato and Pikachu left there spot and returned to the trainers. Sea Breeze suddenly lifted her 
head.
	"We have company." she said.
	"What kind?" asked Brock.
	Sea Breeze turned her head to the wind. It blew past and was strong.
	"Bad." she said.
	"Volcano Dragon." Luna said.
	"Great. That makes everything better. I'd rather it be Catze." Gato snorted.
	"Careful what you wish for." Ash warned.
	There was a loud roar that shook the forest.
	"I'm afraid to ask but, how big are they?" asked Misty.
	"This one is the size of a Charizard." Luna said.
	Sure enough, a huge black dragon with red eyes bust from the trees on all fours. He blew flames 
and caught some trees on fire. He roared loud again and twisted his head around to look striate at them.
	"Don't move!" Luna cried to everyone.
	"Why not!?" yelled Rachel.	
	"Trust us! Stay quiet and don't move!" Sea Breeze yelled.
	Everyone froze and was quiet. The dragon roared and blew flames out his mouth at a tree above 
them all. It was caught on fire. No one wanted to move, but did when a burning tree branch came crashing 
down. The branch barely missed everyone. The dragon turned his head and stuck his noise to the burning 
branch. He moved it closer to Rachel. She moved back and little and he looked at her. She froze. He 
turned and stared at everyone else who was on the ground. Sea Breeze and Luna were the only ones that 
stood up. The dragon roared and blew fire at them. Sea Breeze was fast.
	"Water Sea Power Submerge!!" she cried.
	The wave crashed into the fire and the dragon. He roared and  blew smoke from his mouth.
	"Now we run." Luna said calmly.
	Everyone dashed off and away. The dragon flapped its wings and took off after them. Luna 
stopped and turned. Her moon glowed.
	"Moon Power Beam!!" she yelled.
	She shot a yellow beam and burnt a hole in the dragons wing. He roared in pain and crashed to 
the ground. He still didn't give up the chase. The friends ran and came to a stop. A wide river was there.
	"If we cross he'll catch us!" Misty said.
	"He'll catch us either way." Gato pointed out.
	The dragon burst though the trees with a roar. Suddenly, one of Ash's Pokeballs opened and 
Persian leaped out and at the dragon.
	"How'd he get out?" asked Brock.
	Persian aimed and shot a Water Gun attack. The dragon roared and missed to swipe the Persian. 
Persian keep shooting Water Gun until the dragon was wet.
	"I get it! Pikachu, Thundershock!" Ash ordered.
	Sparks flew from the little Pikachu's cheeks.
	"Pi-ka-CCCHHHHUUUUU!!"
	Lightning bolts went out and shocked the dragon good and hard. He roared and took off away 
from them. Persian walked up and sat next to Ash proudly.
	"Some Persian." Rachel said.
	Everyone else came up next to Ash.
	"How'd you teach him that?" asked Brock.
	"I didn't." Ash said, still amazed.
	Misty scratched Persian behind the ear. He purred loudly.
	"I wish I had a Persian like him." she said.	
	"We still have a slight problem." Gato said.
	"What?" asked Luna.
	"There's a forest fire." Gato answered and pointed a claw.
	It was true. A huge fire was spreading because of the dragon. Suddenly, the wind began to pick 
up and blow the fire away. Everyone looked above them and saw the flying horse's.
	"The Dreamspeakers will put it out." Luna said.
	"With wind?" asked Brock.
	"Sort of." Sea Breeze said. 
	The wind picked up fast speed. The water behind them was suddenly lifted into a giant wave. It 
crashed onto the trees and the fire was gone. Three of the horse's landed in front of Ash and his friends. 
On stepped forward. She had a dark purple mane and tail that was violet in color. She had a long, silver 
horn and white, feather-covered wings.
	"Did you start this?" she asked.
	"Of course not!" Misty said in surprise.
	The horse eyed her and shot her an ice cold stare.
	"Careful. I herd flying things with horns are bad luck." Gato whispered to the group.
	"Don't be stupid." Misty told her kitten.
	"I'm guessing you translated that from Pikachu." Gato asked.
	Pikachu snickered. Luna stepped forward.
	"I'm Luna, a Moon Kitty that was sent to get the people to stop Tigra. This is them."
	The horse snorted.
	"This is our only hope? A bunch of kids?" she asked.
	"Hey! We beat Mewthree you know!" Ash snapped.
	The horse walked up to him.
	"Who might you be?" she growled.
	"That's nothing for you to know! Who are you?" Ash shot back.
	"I'm the ruler of the Dreamspeaker's. My name is Violet." she said.
	"Well, Violet, you should have more faith in us. You haven't seen us battle yet." Ash said.
	Violet laughed.
	"I've seen you "battle". It's child play." Violet growled.
	"What!? We can battle better than you every will!" Gato yelled.
	She jumped from Misty's shoulder and in front of Violet on her two legs. She raised her claws.
	"Let's battle!" she challenged.
	"Gato, don't!" warned Misty.
	Violet snorted.
	"I have no time to waste with you." she said and turned.
	With that, all the Dreamspeaker's left.
	"Chicken!!" Gato yelled and shook her fist to the sky.
	"Cowardly cat!" came an evil sneered.
	"Look, you could just appear normally. You don't have to try and surprise us." Gato said without 
turning around.
	A black ray struck the ground in front of her. Everyone turned to see Catze floating in the air.
	"Give it up!" yelled Rachel.
	"Step aside girl! I'm not interested in you." Catze growled.
	"I know we had a deal, but I broke it!" Ash yelled as Catze floated towards him.
	"I'm not after you anymore either. I'm making another deal." Catze said.
	She landed on the ground and Ash backed away a little. Catze grabbed his right arm and got a 
tight grip.
	"Hey!" Ash yelped in surprise. 
	"Before you run like a coward I'll have you know that this deal is better!" she growled.
	"Pikapi!"
	Pikachu ran at Catze. She blasted him with a black ray. He flew back and knocked Gato down. 
Luna stepped forward.
	"Moon Power Beam!!" Luna yelled and shot a yellow beam from her moon.
	"Water Arrow!!" yelled Sea Breeze and pounded the ground with her hooves.
	The water arrow and the beam of light went after Catze. She turned them around with her hands 
and the attacks hit the ground around Ash's friends. All of them were caught in the explosion and 
knocked to the ground violently.
	"Leave them alone!" Ash cried at her while trying to break her grip.
	From a mountain, Violet watched. She snorted.
	"Some battle skills." she said.
	She refused to help. Catze let Ash's arm go and pushed him to the ground.
	"Tigra was kind enough to give me a power upgrade. Now, I'm more powerful than all of you!" 
Catze laughed.
	Ash's friends began to get up, but were knocked down by another black ray from Catze. Catze 
then pointed her hand at Ash. The black cat glowed.
	"I'm not asking you this time. I'm just going to take it without question!" she yelled and the beam 
was shot.
	"Wind Tornado!!"
	A huge tornado of wind crashed into Catze and the beam was gone. Catze fell into the dry river 
bank. Violet landed in front of Ash.
	"Violet?" asked Ash.
	"You didn't stand a chance. Beside's, your pathetic. I'll take care of her, you seek to your friends." 
Violet said.
	Catze jumped form the bank. 
	"So you want to help these kids, do you?" she growled.
	Violet didn't answer and instead, faced Catze and stood tall.
	"You can't battle me!" Catze continued.
	"Wanna bet?" Violet challenged.
	Catze shot a black ray from her hand. Violet flapped her wings and created a huge wind gust. 
The ray was blown back. Ash ran to his friends and picked up his hurt Pikachu. Pikachu opened his black 
eyes.
	"Think your strong enough to help everyone?" he asked.
	Pikachu nodded and Ash put him down. He grabbed two Pokeballs.
	"Phoenix! Tiger! Your turn!" he yelled and threw them.
	Phoenix appeared with a screech and Tiger howled to the sky. They both saw Catze and went to 
her. Phoenix flew above the seance while Tiger and Violet were below. Catze shot another black ray. 
Tiger stepped forward.
	"Torpedo!!"
	He shot his attack but the lightning wasn't strong enough. The black ray went though it and hit 
Tiger. He didn't fall but staggered back. Violet's horn glowed a bright white.
	"Wind Storm!!" she called and shot a gust of wind from her horn.
	The wind was invisible but you could see the ripples in the air. Just like Tiger's Roar attack. 
Phoenix saw his chance and shot a Flamethrower into the wind. Tiger helped with Roar. The two gust of 
wind carried the Flamethrower towards Catze. She floated up and the attacks missed. Everyone looked up 
at her in the air.
	"Tigra will teach you soon enough." she growled and disappeared in black smoke.
	"How many times is she going to do that?" asked Tiger with a snort. 
	Ash sighed and shrugged.
	"Pikachu pi!"
	Ash turned around. All his friends were up and okay.
	"Ouch." Gato said simply.
	"Where'd Catze go?" Brock asked.
	"She's gone, for now." Sea Breeze answered.
	Luna went over to Ash.
	"Thank you. I'm glad Catze didn't steal your Heart Crystal." Luna said and smiled.
	"We really have to find her someone else to go after." Rachel said coming up to them.
	Phoenix nodded in agreement and Tiger snorted at Rachel.
	"Why are you with us?" he asked. 
	"Hi Tiger. Remember I was here? Ash and his friends were kind enough to let me join. I'm really 
glad to see you listen to Ash now." she said.
	Tiger growled at her.
	"That doesn't mean I like you!" she snapped.
	"Tiger, stop that." Ash said.
	Phoenix cocked his head and made some screeches and bird tweets. Tiger shook his head.
	"I'll tell you later." he told the fire bird.
	Phoenix looked confused.
	"Hey Misty, are you okay?" asked Gato coming up to her trainer who sat on the ground.
	"I'm okay. I just cut my arm." Misty said.
	Gato hopped over to her left side and examined her arm. It was cut badly and bleeding.
	"That's more than a cut. It's a big opened cut." Gato said.
	"Gross." Misty told her kitten in disgust.
	"Just a second. Be back in a flash. Don't leave." Gato said and ran over to where Ash and stood 
on all fours.
	Misty sighed. Sea Breeze walked up to her. Pikachu followed Gato.
	"Tiger, be nice to Rachel. She's a friend." Ash said.
	"I don't care." Tiger snorted.
	Violet smiled at them all and turned to leave.
	"Wait! Violet!" Ash called.
	She turned to him.
	"Why don't you join us? We could use someone like you." Luna said.
	Violet smiled and nodded.
	"I guess you kids need someone to watch over you." she said and joined them.
	Ash laughed.
	"Were kids but don't think of us as weak." he said.
	Violet nodded. Ash felt a pull on his pant leg. He looked down and Gato looked up.
	"You got something for my trainer? She cut her arm and needs a bandage." Gato asked.
	"Misty did? I don't know. Let me check." Ash said and began to dig though his backpack.
	Brock walked over to Misty and began to look to see how bad it was. Ash found an old shirt and 
ripped a piece off it. Gato then lead him over to Misty. Tiger followed with a snarl at Rachel, giving her 
the idea she shouldn't follow. Violet and Phoenix stayed where they were. Ash came over and wrapped her 
arm with the cloth. Gato jumped in her lap.
	"Can I have a treat since I helped you?" asked Gato.
	Misty laughed.
	"Is that was it's about?" she asked.
	"Partly, yes." Gato said with an evil grin.
	Misty stared and then looked up at Ash who stood back up.
	"There. Now let's go." he told the group.
	Rachel came up and Tiger snapped at her. She stumbled back.
	"Tiger! Knock it off!" Ash yelled.
	Tiger snarled at him.
	"No! I don't trust her!" he growled.
	"Why?" asked Gato.
	"She may be a good trainer, but she doesn't have guts! She's a wimp! She was afraid of me! If she 
get's scared enough, she'll sell us all down the river!" Tiger shouted.
	Rachel stepped back.
	"I would never!" she gasped.
	Tiger turned to her, his snarling face mean and his red eyes blazing. 
	"You say that, but what would you do if Catze came and said that she'd kill you or take your 
Heart Crystal for us?" he yelled even meaner than before.
	Rachel was shocked.
	"I....I still wouldn't." she whispered.
	"That's enough Tiger! Get in your Pokeball!" Ash yelled, mad at his wolf Poke'mon.
	Ash held it up and Tiger slapped his hand with his paw. Tiger's claws cut Ash on the wrist. The 
Pokeball fell and popped open from the impact of hitting the ground. Ash held his wrist in his other hand 
in pain.  Phoenix was in front of Ash in a flash. He screeched and opened his fiery wings. Embers flew 
and stained the grass black.
	"Tiger, what's gotten into you!" Ash yelled from next to the giant Phoenix.
	Everyone else was up and stepping back. Tiger was dangerous to them and they were scared.
	"Clam yourself, Tiger." Violet said.
	Tiger growled at Rachel. His growled and snarl pushed her back some more. Tiger then snorted.
	"I won't go into my Pokeball. I'm going to stay out until this mission is over and she leaves." 
Tiger said and walked past everyone and onto the main path.
	"Let's get out of here." he said and began to walk away.
	Ash held up Phoenix's Pokeball and the bird reluctantly went in. Ash followed his angry 
Wolflithe and Pikachu was right behind him. Misty and everyone else followed. Ash was angry at Tiger. 
He couldn't believe Tiger had hurt him. For the first time since they had become friends. Gato and 
Pikachu walked up to Tiger but were pushed away. They then went into there own conversion. Misty came 
up to Ash.
	"Are you okay?" Misty asked him.
	"Huh?"
	"Your wrist. That was a bad scratch." 
	Ash looked at his wrist and took his hand off it. There was blood on his hand but not much. It 
was a deep cut and hurt but Ash didn't really think it was bad.
	"I'm fine, thanks." he said stubbornly.
	Misty shook her head and took her backpack off. She dug though it.
	"It's not that bad, Misty." Ash protested as she ripped part of her extra clothes.
	"I don't want to here it." she said and took Ash's hand.
	She wrapped wrapped it up.
	"There. You helped me, I'll help you." Misty said.
	Ash smiled.
	"Thanks. Your stubborn you know." he said.
	"So are you." Misty answered but without harshness.
	They all continued to walk down the path. Tiger in the lead and keeping far away from the 
group. Catze appeared above them all, but they were unaware.
	"Is that so? Tiger doesn't trust Rachel. Well, I guess nine kids are better than ten." Catze said and 
disappeared.
