Note: SORRY!! School keeps getting in the darn way!! My teachers (all of them!) decided that this month and next month would be, "Let's Kill the Kids with Homework!" month. *Grumble* Soooo, that means less stories. Just bare with me, okay? I'm trying!! ^_^ Okay, I'll shut up now. FIRE LEAGUE BEGIN! "I can't believe I finally can join the Fire League!" Ash cheered, staring at his badges. "Pikachu!" cheered his Pika-pal as well. "Yeah, I know. After all those set backs, I was wondering when this would happen." Misty said. Ash had all four badges he needed to join the Fire League. He was determined to win this time. "I have three bucks on you, kid. Better win!" Gato said. "With who?" asked Brock. "Pikachu. Who else?" Gato answered simply. Tiger rolled his eyes. Pikachu looked angry at Gato but did nothing from the top of Ash's head. The three trainers made there way down a path that would lead them to the stadium. Indeed it did. It was huge, white and looked exactly like the Poke'mon League's stadium. They got a place to stay in a little town near the stadium and then deiced to walk around. The town was small, but there was a lot of people and Poke'mon walking around. A few people were scared to death of Tiger. Tiger greeted them friendly and the feelings towards him soon changed. "Ash! Hey Ash! Wait up!" called a voice. They stopped a turned. To there great surprise, they saw all nine Poke'mon queens and one princess. Amara, May, Amy, Mel, Lita, Saraya, Ray, Blaze, Erika, and Nina were all running towards them. They stopped in front of them. They all wore causally clothes and had changed names that Ash didn't know. "May! What are you doing here?" Misty asked. "Pikachu pi?" May smiled. "We had to cheer Ash on. It was the least we could do after he helped us find Echo." May said. "I guess we can call you by your real names then." Brock guessed and Ray nodded. Saraya came up and patted Tiger on the head. "Thanks for coming, but you really didn't have to." Ash said. "Like May said, it was the least we could do." Amara answered with a smile. "Is Gary here?" asked Lita with an angry look. "Probably. We haven't run into him yet, thankfully." Ash answered. "He has his head in the wrong place." Gato commented and they all laughed. "What about that girl who's with him?" Blaze asked. "You mean May? I'm assuming she's still with him." Ash said and shrugged. Suddenly, someone ran smack into Ash from the back. Ash stumbled forward and then whipped around to see who had run into him. A girl stood, trembling from head to toe. She backed away, covering her face. She seemed to be a Poke'mon trainer with some Pokeballs clipped onto her skirt. She seemed fermiler. However, Ash didn't get a good look at her. "I'm.....I'm sorry. I.....I......I didn't......didn't see.......you." she stammered quickly. "Er, that's okay." Ash said. The girl then tore away as fast as she could from them with her hands still over her face. She disappeared among the crowd. "Man, we've just been running into strange people after strange people." Tiger snorted, recalling Mika the gym leader. "That was rather odd." Ray said and gave a nervous look at all her friends. "How about we take you all out for dinner. Our treat." Mel said. "Thanks, Mel!" Brock said and they agreed. Suddenly, there was a scream from someone. "What is that?!" "Get it away from me!" "Help!" People began to back away from a spot in the crowd. The same spot that girl had ran off too. The group of friends moved towards it and gasped at what they saw. The same girl that had run into Ash was on her knees and seemed to changing forms. Tiger snarled in warning and made people back away. Jenny's were coming but neither them or there Growlithes could get near. The girl's purple hair was slowly disappering and yellow fur was replacing her clothes. The girl was crying in pain. Mel stepped forward and threw a paper with Japanese writing on it. It stuck to the girl's forehead. She screamed and then collapsed on the ground. She returned normally and something seemed to leave her body. Ash wasn't able to catch what it was. "Sorry, we have to leave Ash. We'll have dinner some other time." Amy said. "Don't worry, we'll be back." Nina agreed and the ten. A Jenny came over to the trembling girl and tried to help her stand. "Stop! Leave her alone!" came a sharp voice. A girl ran out and pushed the Jenny away rudely. The Growlithe growled and leaped. A screech told Ash that a Poke'mon had stopped the Growlithe. An Articuno flew in front of the Growlithe and pushed him back from the girl. The girl looked about fourteen and had ice blue hair that came to her waist, maybe a little past it. She had a sea green shirt on that had maybe a little blue mixed with it. It looked to small and came way far from her belly. It was pretty far up by not so far that it wasn't a good thing to wear in public. It was short sleeved and the sleeves were as short as Ash's sleeves. Maybe a tad bit shorter. She had blue jeans on that were a little short at the end. They stopped before they reached her ankles. She wore a black backpack on both her shoulders and had blue eye's. She wore black boots and looked like a tough girl. The Articuno took it's perch on the girl's backpack. "What are you doing?" Jenny asked as the girl helped the other onto her feet. "She's my sister and she needs my help. I'm sorry if she caused trouble." the girl answered rudely. The Growlithe growled at Articuno. Jenny nodded and let her go. The two girls disappeared into the crowed that had broken up. That whole day, the three trainers and there Poke'mon were stumped and puzzled over the whole thing. They slept that night with the same thing on there mind. What was going on? The next morning, Ash go ready for his first battle. He let Pikachu stay with Misty, Brock, Gato and the queens. His friends took there seats and watched. Ash stepped out onto the field followed by cheers and screams from the stadium. He planed to use three of his best Poke'mon. He took his stance in the trainer's box and another boy took his stance as well. He had short, brown hair and was about Ash's age. The broad said, Ash vs. Todd "Begin!" called the annocer. "Scale, attack!" Todd called and threw his Pokeball. It exploded open and out came a Scale. It was very big and looked a lot like Poison in Ash's option. Ash picked his Poke'mon and threw it out. "Bulbasaur, I choose you!" Ash ordered. His planet Poke'mon appeared. Todd didn't wait. "Poison Claw!" Scale leaped, claws ready. Bulbasaur was able to dodge and the Scale slapped the ground. "Vine Whip!" Bulbasaur unleashed his vines and shot them after the Scale. Scale leaped away and ran at Bulbasaur, dodging the slaps. Bulbasaur was too slow in moving "Poison Fang!" Scale leaped and made contact. His teeth turned black in color and he sank his black fangs into Bulbasaur. "Oh-no!" Ash cried. Scale's teeth slowly turned white as the poison was injected into Bulbasaur. Scale let go and Bulbasaur fell to the ground, cold and lifeless. The two trainers returned there Poke'mon. "Looks like Ash isn't off to a good start! Let's see if he can turn things around!" cried the annocer. "Get 'em Pidgeot!" Todd ordered. The giant bird appeared. Ash chose his. "Phoenix, go!" Ash cried. Phoenix appeared in a flash of embers. The two birds flew in the air facing each other. "Quick Attack!" Pidgeot flew forward with a trail of white light behind him. He slammed hard into Phoenix. Ash could here a sickening noise as the two hit. Phoenix screeched in pain and already looked out. "Come on Ash!" Misty cheered from the stands. Amara watched thoughtfully. A girl caught her eye. It was the same ice blue haired girl that had told Jenny off. Her Articuno sat perched on her black backpack. The girl was watching Ash with the most ice cold stare. Amara had an uneasy feeling. "Come on Phoenix! Heat Beam!" Phoenix regained its self in the air. He spread his wings out from side to side. A beam of red light shot out from it's whole body. The attack missed and Pidgeot collided with Phoenix again. The giant fire bird fell and slammed into the ground with a thud. Pidgeot circled the spot where he lay. I can't loose now! Ash thought desperately. As Amara watched the girl, she seemed to be mumbling something Amara couldn't make out. Suddenly, Ash saw a picture of Phoenix getting up and attacking with his Fire Twister then Wildfire. Then Ash saw that Pidgeot would lose. Like that, the thought was gone. Ash looked over and saw Phoenix up. He decied to go with the strange picture "Fire Twister!" Phoenix glowed with an eerie red. He then flapped his wings hard and shot a blast of powerful flames. These flames came together in a fire twister and knocked Pidgeot senseless. "Now, use your Wildfire!" Phoenix wasted no time. With a great amount of effort, Phoenix burst as many flames as he could on the ground. It erupted in flames and chased after Pidgeot. After a few hits, Pidgeot was out. "That's one for Todd and one for Ash! The next one will deiced the winner!" the announcer blared as the trainers returned there Poke'mon. "Tigerlon, go!" The fire tiger appeared with a growl and spit flames. Ash made up his mind. "Tiger, GO!!" Tiger appeared with a howl. The two Poke'mon shot each other a deadly look. Ash knew he had to win this. Amara watched the girl from the corner of her eyes. The girl was now just standing there with another ice cold look. "Tigerlon, Flamethrower!" "Tiger, Aqua Blast!" The water stream and the fire stream hit each other and both turned into steam. Neither one, however, was pushing on back. The two stopped there attacks and stared each other. Tiger wrinkled his noise and snarled. Tigerlon let a deep roar come from his throat. It was now or never. "Fire Darts!" Tigerlon leaped and shot little flaming red darts. Tiger leaped away and they stabbed the ground. Tigerlon landed hard on the ground again. "Ice Blast!" Tiger shot a blast of ice out his mouth at Tigerlon that was shaped like an X. Tigerlon dodged it too. "Fire Shot!" Tigerlon shot a red ball that had flame around it. Tiger was hit and landed on the ground, sprawled and burned. Tiger jumped up and moved before the attack hit again. "Roar!" The wind picked up. Tiger opened his mouth and let out a blast of wind that rippled the air. Tigerlon ducked on the ground and dug his long claws into it. However it was no use against something stronger than a hurricane. Tigerlon was thrown back and into the trainers box that Todd stood on. The fire tiger was up and staggered toward Tiger. "He's weak! Finish him off with Ice Bomb!" Tiger opened his mouth and shot a snowball that was faster than a bullet. It slammed into Tigerlon and that did it. Tigerlon fainted. Cheers exploded from the stadium. Ash breathed again with ease and let Tiger come to him. He hugged him with great thanks. Amara smiled and clapped with everyone else. She then turned and watched the girl. Articuno still perched on her backpack. This time, Amara herd what the girl said clearly. "It won't be long. It won't be long." she mumbled and disappeared into the darkness off the exit. To be continued..... Q.O.T.D! (Patamon and Gatomon get thrown on the ground by a Trannomon. There both in a tangled pile.) Patamon: (Sarcastically) I thought cats were suppose to land on there feet. Gatomon: Oh, shut up. Patamon: T.K. and Davis sure argue a lot.
