A NEW EVIL, PART 3 "Hey! Ash! Wake up! You sleep to long!" cried a voice. Ash opened his eyes and looked into the face of Pikachu. "What'd you do? Take a sleeping pill? You've slept for hours! It's almost eleven!" Pikachu told him, moving his mouth as he spoke. "AAAHH!" Ash jumped up and sprung backwards about three feet. Pikachu was, talking? "Why'd you scream? I'm just telling you the truth! Hey! Misty! You wake up too!" Pikachu yelled at Misty. Ash looked down to see her asleep. Pikachu went over and looked in her face. "Hello? Are you in there?" asked Pikachu. Misty saw Pikachu and jumped back like Ash. "Why are you all afraid of me? I'm just your Pikachu, Ash." Pikachu asked. "There not use to hearing you talk, Pikachu. When there humans, they always here you say your name, not real words." Tiger explained. Pikachu shrugged and ran over to Tiger. "You two sleep to long." Tiger said. "We know already." Ash sighed, sick of hearing that from Pikachu. "I hope everything's going to be safe in that tree." came Brock's voice. He walked out of the bushes. That's when Ash realized that all there stuff, was gone. "I hid it all in a big tree, if your wondering." Brock told them. "Well, are we leaving?" asked Pikachu. "Would you be quiet!" Tiger snapped. "You've been asking and talking all morning!" "Or afternoon." Pikachu said. Tiger growled and Pikachu ran behind Ash. "Spare me!" he cried. "I'm glad I can't understand you as a human." Ash said. "Well, that's that. Let's go." Brock said. Tiger started down the trail. Brock, Ash and Misty followed. Pikachu jumped and landed on Ash's head. Even as a Wolflithe, Pikachu still sat on his head. "So, do we have any idea where this Ghost Poke'mon might live?" asked Misty as they walked. "I have an idea, yes. There's a mountain near here called Nightmare Rock. Not very many Poke'mon or humans dwell there. In fact, no one lives there. It would be the perfect spot for Ghost to hide and live." Tiger told them. "I hope that's where. I herd its very hard to reach the top." Brock said. "In which way? The climbing or the height?" asked Ash. "Both. If you don't mind the height, the climbing will make it tricky. The other way around if you don't care for climbing." Brock explained. "Well, I wonder what will make it so hard?" Misty asked. "You don't think Ghost is going to try and stop us? He'll throw whatever he has at us." Ash answered her. "Like what? More Poke'mon?" asked Misty. "Troops." Tiger said suddenly. "Troops? What are troops?" asked Pikachu. "Ghost probably has strong Poke'mon to help him. If this Mewthree character is all that Ghost said he is, then I bet he made some pretty strong things to stop us." Tiger stated. "As strong as you what, Tiger." came a sneered reply. They all spun to there left. Tiger snarled and growled. "Now, now. Is that any way to treat your brother." came the voice again. Tiger's snarl disappeared and his growling stopped. "What are you talking about? I have one brother on-" Tiger stopped. "No!!" he cried. "I'm afraid the answer is yes." came the reply. A Poke'mon appeared from the shadow's. It was a Gray Wolf. The kind of Poke'mon Jake had. But this Poke'mon looked different than Jake's Gray Wolf. It had an evil glint in his eye and was older looking. He had shaggy gray fur instead of striate, neat fur. He's lips were pulled back into an evil smile that showed white fangs. "Gray Wolf." Tiger whispered. "As you are right, brother. The great Tiger Of The Wind, brought down to help three humans that are Poke'mon. How sad." Gray Wolf growled simply. Tiger Of The Wind? That's what Sky had called Tiger when she was battling me, Ash thought, but why would this Poke'mon be his brother and call him that? I think Tiger has a past he won't share. "I never thought I'd see the day when you would work against power, when that was all you wanted." Gray Wolf sneered again. "Tiger? What is he talking about?" asked Misty. Tiger didn't answer. He kept a snarl on his face. "Well, Ghost has asked that I get you off track right away. Attack!" Gray Wolf cried out. Suddenly, more wolf like Poke'mon leaped from the bushes. They looked like Wolflithe but where Wolflithe had white Scale had dark purple and scales. Where Wolflithe has blue, Scale has light purple. They surrounded the friends in seconds. There was about fifty of them. "Troops." Tiger growled in a whisper. "Correct. Now, shall we battle?" Gray Wolf asked. The Scales attacked. Tiger leaped at the nearest one. He shank his sharp fangs into the Scale's neck. He let go and the Scale's lifeless body flopped to the floor. Two, small, glow blue balls appeared at the end of Tiger's horns. "Torpedo!!" He then shot little blue lightning bolts out his horns and shocked about five. Sparks flew from Pikachu's cheeks. "Pi-ka-CHHHHHHUUUUUU!!" Yellow lightning bolts shot everywhere. Five more were shocked. Eight Scale's surrounded Ash. He didn't know what to do. The Wolflithe brain did. He let the Wolflithe mind press in and with that, he attacked. He shot out a blue beam in a strong Ice Beam attack. It froze one. Another one of the eight leaped. Ash leaped over it and landed on him. Two more ran at him. Two, small, glow blue balls appeared at the end of Ash's horns. He shot little blue lightning bolts and shocked the rest of the away. He turned to five more advancing toward him. He used his Blizzard and shot ice and snow. It hit them all and they backed away. Brock let the Fireburn's mind take over as well. He used Flamethrower at a Scale that had leaped at him. The Scale went down, burnt. Suddenly, one of the Scale's attacked. He shot little blue darts out his mouth at Brock. A very strong Poison Dart attack. His eyes suddenly glowed red. A huge fire wall shot up from the ground in front of Brock. The little blue darts hit it and disappeared. The Scale that attacked, stepped back in confusion. The Fire Wall attacked had severed useful. Misty also did the same as her comrades. She flapped her golden wings hard and pointed them at a Scale. Two golden feathers shot out the wings. One form each. The two feathers shot by the Scale and the Scale collapsed. The feathers disappeared. Feather Darts. A very powerful attack. But the there were to many Scales. "This won't end well." Pikachu sighed. Tiger growled and snarled along with Ash and his friends. Pikachu just looked normal. "We have to try for the all for one attack." Ash said suddenly. They all looked at him. "What do you mean?" asked Brock. "We all attack at once." Ash explained. The Scales closed in. There was now twenty-five, since some had fled and others had been shocked to death or bitten. Gray Wolf just smiled with evilness. "All for one and one for all, huh? I pity you and your attempts to stop something stronger than you. Do you know how foolish that is?" smirked Gray Wolf. "Not as pathetic as you trying to talk your way out!" yelled a voice. They all looked up in a tree behind Gray Wolf. "You!" Gray Wolf gasped. "The one and only!" cried the voice. The creature jumped down on its two legs. It looked like a small white cat. It was the size of a big kitten but a foot bigger. It had normal back feet and paws like a kitten. Its front legs were normal but its paws weren't. They were green with black strips on them. They had very long claws on them. They almost looked like gloves. The ears of this Poke'mon were big and pointy. It had whiskers that came out a little past its face but not by much. It had a long tail that was light purple with dark purple strips. It had a green ring like thing on the near end of its tail. The end of its tail was sort of parted in the fur. It had bright blue eyes and a mean look. "Back off, Gray Wolf." the kitten ordered with a high, evil sounding voice. Gray Wolf growled. "I take no ordered from a kitten!" he growled. "Well, start now!" the Poke'mon snapped. Gray Wolf leaped but the creature was to fast. It leaped and Gray Wolf slammed into the ground. Ash knew what it was right away. A Gato! Sky had one. This must be the one the paper said could talk. Same with the Gray Wolf, Ash thought. Gray Wolf was on his feet. "Scales! Attack Gato! Get her and forget the others!" Gray Wolf cried. The Scales turned and attacked. She dodged them all. The all jumped from different angles. She dodged once more. She would hit them with her tail or bite or claw them. One by one, the Scales fell of ran. And none of them got a touch off the kitten Poke'mon. Tiger looked over and nodded to the others. He was telling them to attack the Scales left. Three Scales leaped at Gato from behind. She didn't notice. Ash leaped into the air and suddenly felt a new attack. Two huge, blue, glowing balls appeared at the end of his horns. They were huge! Two big lightning bolts that were blue shot out of his horns. One from each horn. The two big bolts of lightning slammed into the three Scales. They fell to the ground, they fainted. Ash landed on the floor and backed away. Wind whipped around Tiger. Gato saw this and ran behind Ash. The wind ruffled Tiger's mane. Tiger opened his mouth and a huge gust of wind came bursting out his mouth. It sent all the Scales away and they disappeared in a ding of light. Gray Wolf growled. "You ruined it all, Gato!" he snarled. "Get out of here!" Gato snapped sharply, ignoring his remark. Gray Wolf snarled and disappeared. Ghost had transported him away. Gato nodded and began to walk away. "Wait! Don't leave!" Misty cried out. Gato stopped and turned. "Thank you." Ash said hoarsely. Gato narrowed her eyes. They had a black outline on the top. Her blue eyes still shined. "You are fools. Quit while your ahead." she said simply, the evilness gone from her voice. With that, she turned her back on them and disappeared into the darkness of the forest. The friends stood and watched. Ash in the front of them, Tiger a little uneven next to him and the rest behind. Pikachu peeked out from behind Misty's leg. Ash nodded and turned to Tiger. "You have something you haven't told us." Ash said. Tiger didn't move. He stared striate a head. "Tiger Of The Wind is what Sky and Gray Wolf both called you. Why?" Tiger turned to him. "You have no right to ask, Ash. You are not close enough for close friendship." Tiger answered. He turned and continued down the trail. Ash followed and then Misty and Brock. Pikachu hopped on Ash's back. The rest of the way was in silences. When night fell upon them, they found a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Ash lay down on a soft bed of leaves. Tiger and Brock lay a few feet away. Pikachu curled up next to Ash and Misty slept beside him. Ash sighed and lied his head down. What was with Gato? She saved them and then called them fools? What about Tiger? Why was he being called Tiger Of The Wind? What about Gray Wolf? His brother? How? Too many questions kept popping up in Ash's head. He strained to think about it. He was a Poke'mon and his Wolflithe mind didn't care about these questions. Again, the Wolflithe was restless. But this time, Ash didn't get up. Last time, he had just almost got Misty and himself killed. A soft whimpering made Ash raise his head. A female Wolflithe stood in front of him. She was his size, young, and had a very beautiful sleek coat. The Wolflithe part was interested, but Ash wasn't. Still, the Wolflithe was fighting to meet her. Ash stood up. She jumped back a little in surprise of his movement. She sniffed his nose but didn't move. She stepped back. The Wolflithe mind wanted to play. To bond and run with her. Ash didn't care. To him, it was just a wild Wolflithe. Not a girl who was someone to stay together for life. Ash suddenly lost a little control over the Wolflithe mind. He sniffed her nose as well. Ash got control and jerked away. She jumped back again by his movement. He stared at her for a moment. She stared at him. Misty woke up at the smell and lifted her head to see Ash and the young Wolflithe. The female noticed Misty and slinked away. Ash watched her. Before she left, the Wolflithe mind was to strong and gave a small yelp. She stopped and looked over at him. Ash was fighting hard against the Wolflithe mind. The female didn't stay long. She disappeared as quickly as she had come. The Wolflithe mind settled and was no tired. But Ash wasn't. He gave a heavy sigh and lied down. He tried to sleep. Again there was to many question's. Misty watched him lay there for a while before going to sleep herself. Ash finally did fall asleep. In a near by tree, Gato watched them. "There not normal Poke'mon." she whispered to herself. She had a very strange feeling about them. A real male Wolflithe would have ran away to join the young female. Gato pondered over it and then gave up. She jumped and climbed away. They were on a journey of the impossible, but yet somehow, in the darkness of Ghost and his troops, there was a small flicker of light that was the sign of hope. Ghost was furious, on the other hand. He looked at the night sky. "No matter about them. When the turned blood red, I will send my call. If they don't reach and bet me by then, they will remain a Poke'mon forever!" he cried into the night. And with his speech, he let out a bone chilling howl that was herd for miles. And every little creature out there, even Ash and his friends, got a chill sent down there spine. Gato herd it and was the only one who wasn't afraid. "I've been there, Ghost. I know your weakness." she again whispered to no one. She looked at the white moon. The only hope out there to stop Ghost, was three Poke'mon- humans, a Pikachu and a real Wolflithe. I guess it could be worse, thought Gato. She yawned and fell fast asleep. The night was long, but the next morning was sure to change the whole group of friends, forever. To be continued... Next Time in, "A New Evil, Part 4": The Raptorexs were every where. The battle had barley begun and already, Ash and his friends were winning. "You call this a battle!" laughed Pikachu as he shocked another Raptorex Gray Wolf smiled his evil smile. "Yeah. But Gray Wolf has something up his sleeve." Ash warned. Gato watched. What fools. Do they know nothing about what Raptorexs are capable off, Gato sighed to herself. Suddenly, a huge Raptorex, must have been the leader, leaped and rammed Misty hard in the side with his horns. Misty rolled to on side in pain. The Raptorex growled and smiled, knowing that his opponent was down and that he could make a kill. He raised his foot at revel a curved claw. It was ready to stomp down on Misty and cut right though her. Ash was too fast. He slammed hard into the Raptorex and sent it rolling to the side. Gray Wolf was smarter. He slammed his body into Ash in a powerful Body Slam attack. Ash rolled over the Raptorex and it got up. He kicked Ash hard and was able to stab his claw in his back. Gato jumped to her feet. Ash tried to get up and fight, useless. Raptorex turned and slapped Ash hard with his powerful tail. No one saw the cliff there until Ash was gone over the edge.
