TRUST ME, TIGER OF THE WIND Note: So I changed the title a little, sue me! =) It had been at least three days since Ash had battled Sky and won the Ember Badge along with Phoenix and Tiger. After checking off on his list which one's he had seen, they went. Ash now had two missions, find all the new Poke'mon and beat all the gym leaders and join the Fire League. "I still can't believe I won the Ember Badge." Ash said for about the fifth time. "We know that, Ash." Misty sighed. "Pikachu." Pikachu shook his head. He sat happily and proudly on Ash's shoulder. He liked to look around at the since as they walked. They were walking on a road that was right next to the beach. During these three day's, Misty had caught a Vaporeon to add to her water Poke'mon collection. "It was pretty amazing that you got that badge. I didn't think it was possible." Brock said. "Me neither. I guess I'm just a good trainer." Ash said with a smile. Misty laughed. "Yeah right! If your a good trainer, how come you can't train your Charizard?" asked Misty. "Well, Charizard's are tough to train. You try and train one someday." Ash said. Pikachu could sense an argument about to come so he tuned them out and listened to the ocean waves crash up on the shore. Suddenly, with his good hearing, he herd a cry of pain somewhere with the crashes of the waves. He jumped down from Ash's shoulder and ran down to the seaside. "Hey Pikachu! Wait up!" Ash called out. They all followed Pikachu to the seaside. There was also some rocks there. With those rock's, sat a Poke'mon. It looked like Tiger, with the horns and all. It was red and white instead of blue and white. It had only one zig-zaged steak and the top of his tail was red. Ash pointed his Pokedex at it. "Fireburn the wolf type Poke'mon. This Poke'mon's tempature can rise up to 9,000 degrees when in battle. It is the strongest member of the Wolf Type Family. With its Fire Wall attack, which can block any attack, even water, it is hard to beat in battle." the Pokedex said. "Wow! That would be a great Poke'mon to have on my team!" Ash said. "Maybe you should help it first." Brock suggested. "Yeah! I know just the Poke'mon! Go, Vaporeon!" Misty called, throwing her Pokeball. The Pokeball opened and Vaporeon appeared. "Tiger, go!" Ash ordered, throwing his Pokeball. It opened and Tiger appeared with a howl. "All right Tiger, you and Vaporeon go over and help that Fireburn. Be careful." Ash said. Tiger suddenly showed his teeth and growled at Vaporeon. Vaporeon slinked back near Misty. "Hey, Tiger! Stop that!" Ash scowled. Tiger didn't listen. He looked at Vaporeon again with bared teeth. Vaporeon then slinked all the way back behind Misty. Tiger snorted and ran forward towards the Fireburn. "Great Ash. You just got another Poke'mon that won't obey you." sighed Misty. "Just my luck. Maybe Tiger just doesn't like Vaporeon." Ash shrugged. Tiger jumped from rock to rock with speed and grace. He got to the Fireburn. For the longest time, they just sat there. Were they talking? "Pikachu, go see what's up." Ash ordered. Pikachu ran up the rocks and went up to the two Poke'mon. Tiger shot Pikachu a snarl and slapped him hard with his paw. Three slash marks appeared on his face. "Piiii!" Pikachu feel from the rock and plunged into the raging sea. "Pikachu!" cried Ash. "Vaporeon, go get him!" Misty pointed toward the sea. Vaporeon ran and dove into the water. Waves crashed up on the rock. Tiger suddenly jumped his way down. The Fireburn behind him. Tiger hit the sand and was tackled by the Fireburn. "What!?" asked Ash. "The Fireburn is attacking him!" yelled Brock. "I can see that." Ash said. Tiger slashed hard and Fireburn backed off. With a snarl and a cold look from Tiger, the Fireburn growled and ran away quickly. Tiger snorted. "Where's Vaporeon and Pikachu?" asked Misty nervously. Suddenly, a huge title wave came up. On the wave was Vaporeon! Pikachu rode on his back. They were riding the wave. "Must be Vaporeon's Surf attack." Brock said. The giant wave crashed on the shore and Vaporeon and Pikachu went over to there trainer's, no harm done. Tiger snarled and growled as soon as he saw Vaporeon and Pikachu. Pikachu hid behind his trainer and Misty quickly returned Vaporeon. "What's up with you, Tiger?" Ash asked. Tiger shot him a look that gave Ash the feeling that he had asked the wrong question. With speed that no one could react too, Tiger leaped at Ash. WHAM!! Tiger hit Ash hard on the chest with his two front paws. Ash fell to the ground and hit the sand. Tiger on top of him, his snarling face inches from Ash's. Sparks flew from Pikachu's cheek's. "Pika-CCCHHHHOOOO!!" Lightning bolts shot out of Pikachu's body at Tiger. Tiger saw the attack. Two, small, glowing blue balls appeared and the end of Tiger's horns. A bunch of small, blue lightning bolts shot out of his horns at Pikachu's lightning. Tiger's attack pushed Pikachu's attack away and the two powerful lightning bolts disappeared. Tiger refused to let Ash up. "I'll ask again, what's wrong, Tiger?" Ash whispered. "Ash, do you want to get yourself killed!?" Misty cried. She couldn't figure out why Ash would ask that question when it hurt him already. Tiger snarled and growled and raised back his right paw. Suddenly, a black thing, like the end of a whip, slapped Tiger's paw and wrapped itself around his paw. Tiger looked up with a snarl at the intruder. It was a young boy. He held a whip in his hand that held Tiger. By his side was another wolf creature. It looked exactly like Tiger but it was gray and light gray. It's horn's were solid gray and it's eye's were blue. "Gray Wolf, use your Torpedo!" the boy ordered. The same blue lightning bolts that Tiger shot out shot out of this Poke'mon horns. They hit there target and knocked Tiger away. Ash quickly returned Tiger and stood up. His friends ran to his side. "Ash, are you okay?" asked Misty. "I guess. Hey, thanks a lot." Ash called to the boy trainer. He walked over with his Poke'mon. "No problem. Having a tough time training your Wolflithe I see?" he asked. "Yeah. He's my newest Poke'mon and I guess he doesn't like that." Ash admitted. "No sweat! I'm Jake. You are?" "Ash. These are my friends, Misty and Brock." "Nice to meet you." said Misty. "Look's like good friends to have with you. That must be your Pikachu." said Jake. Pikachu climbed onto his shoulder and waved. "Pikachu!" "Yup. This is Pikachu." Ash answered. "This is my Gray Wolf." Jake said, pointing to the Poke'mon be his side. The Poke'mon wagged its tail. "Gray Wolf the wolf type Poke'mon. This Poke'mon is very mean and rarely will come out to help humans. It often is known to attack humans and kill them." Ash's Pokedex said. Ash looked up at them. Jake laughed. "Not to worry! Gray Wolf's my buddy! He wouldn't hurt anyone unless I said so." Jake said. "You must have trained him well." Ash said. "Yup. With the help of my close friend, Rachel. She's about your age Ash. She has a Wolflithe of her own named Jewel. She's a very pretty Wolflithe at that. I'm sure Rachel would love to help you." Jake said. "Really?" asked Ash. "Of course! Follow me!" Jake answered. Jake took off down a road with Gray Wolf. The three friends followed. Jake soon lead them to a big house. Jake pulled on the door. It was locked. "I guess Rachel's training her Poke'mon. We'll have to go around to the back."Jake told the friends. They walked around the house to a huge backyard. It was maybe the size of a baseball field. It had a stone walk way from the gate to a bench under a thing that curves over. Flower's grew everywhere and the grass was beautiful green. A white fence surrounded it all. A young girl stood in the middle of the yard. A Wolflithe, Jewel, stood at her side, a Persian sat on her other side, a Tigerlon stood by the Persian and a Growlithe suddenly came running up to her. Rachel had long blond hair and blue eye's. She was very pretty. She wore a t-shirt and blue jean pants. She scratched Growlithe behind the ear. "Good boy Growlithe! You were the fastest I've every seen you!" Rachel praised. The Growlithe wagged his fluffy tail. "Growl!" he barked. "Rachel!" Jake called out to her. Rachel looked up and smiled. "Come!" he called back. For some strange reason, Ash looked strangely fermilier to Rachel. They all came threw the gate and Jake shut it behind them as they all were greeted by Rachel and her Poke'mon. "I'm Rachel. Who are you?" "I'm Ash and these are my friends Misty and Brock." "Pika!" "And this is Pikachu." "Nice to meet you all! But what bring's you to me?" asked Rachel. "Ash, here, is having some trouble training his Wolflithe. I told him that you could help." Jake answered. Rachel smiled. "Of course I'll help. Follow me, Ash." she said. Ash and Pikachu followed and Jake was right behind them. "To bad she too young for me." sighed Brock. "Your sad." Misty answered. They ran after them. Jake, Pikachu, Misty and Brock stood to watch from a distance. Rachel faced Ash who stood a little bit away. Jewel, Persian, Growlithe and Tigerlon stood with Jake and the other's. "Send out your Wolflithe." Rachel instructed. Ash threw the Pokeball and it opened. Again, Tiger appeared with a howl. He saw Jake and growled. He looked ready to run. Jake still had his whip and got it ready. Tiger suddenly took off. Rachel's Tigerlon just blocked the way. Tiger ran at Tigerlon and got burnt in the end. Rachel called back her Poke'mon excepted for Jewel. Suddenly, Rachel noticed Tiger's scar. "Call it back!" Rachel yelled. Quickly, Ash returned him. "You didn't tell me he was Tiger Of The Wind." Rachel gasped. "Huh?" asked Ash. "You don't know?" asked Rachel. Ash shook his head. "Come here." she sighed. She got all of them together and told them a story. "Up in the mountains, I forgot what there called, lived a Wolflithe who got the nick name Tiger Of The Wind because of his powerful Roar attack. Humans killed his pack and that lead him to kill humans and still money and food. He is a naturally killing machine. Tiger can never be tamed." Rachel explained. "Impossible! Tiger had a trainer before me. He was given to me by Sky, a Fire League gym leader." Ash protested. "Sky? I don't see how unless she threatened him. The only way Tiger will obey is if the trainer always carries a gun or something that can kill him right away if he did something wrong." Rachel said. "Now what? Gary will surely beat me if Tiger won't obey." sighed Ash. Rachel suddenly knew it now. "Ash! So, your the one Gary talks about." Rachel said. "What?" "I'm Gary's sister." Rachel said. "WHAT!?" everyone yelled but Jake. "PIKA!?" "Your Gary's sister?" gasped Ash. "Gary has a sister? Since when?" asked Misty. "I remember you! When me a Gary played together, you always wanted to when we were little." Ash suddenly remembered. "Yeah!" Rachel said. Dare I tell him why I wanted to play with them all the time? Would he still remember what I asked him, Rachel thought. "That's really wired." commented Brock. "Pikachu" "Anyway, Tiger can't be tamed?" asked Ash, feeling closer to Rachel. "Yes. I'm sorry Ash." Rachel answered. "That's okay, I guess." sighed Ash. "Tell you what. Since its getting dark, why don't you spend the night here! We have plenty of extra rooms." offered Rachel. Maybe then I can tell him, Rachel told herself. "Sure! Thanks a lot!" Ash said. Jake left with Gray Wolf and Rachel returned Jewel. Ash, Brock and Misty each had there own rooms. Ash slepted quietly with Pikachu at the foot of his bed. Everyone slept quietly. Suddenly, a blue and white Pokeball dropped from Ash's backpack and opened. Tiger appeared and saw Ash asleep. Perfect. Now I will leave, Tiger thought. Like the paper said, one could talk. But Ash didn't know that it was Tiger. Tiger crepe into the hall and down the stairs. He went out the door, with made a creak as he left. Pikachu herd this and went down stairs and saw Tiger leave. He quickly followed. Tiger walked out to the yard and was about to jump the white fence when a low growling sound made both Tiger and Pikachu stop. Pikachu knew what it was and hid. Tiger didn't. It was a gang of wild Persians. A lot of Persian gangs were out at night and one had made it into the yard. The ten Persians attacked with there claws and teeth. Tiger let out a yelp as he was taken by surprise. The yelp was loud and sharp and echoed through the town. Misty herd it and was awaken from it. She was quiet as she got up and went to the window. She looked out to see Tiger. He was bleeding badly and the Persians were on him fast. She ran out of her room, dressed, and too Ash's. She entered and woke him up with some rude shakes. Ash was also dressed and asleep. "Ash! Ash! Wake up!" Misty hissed. "What's wrong Misty?" he asked. "It's Tiger! He escaped his Pokeball and is getting attacked by a gang of Persians!" Misty answered. "What!" cried Ash. He jumped from his bed and they both ran down stairs. This brought Rachel and Brock to follow, both dressed. They all ran outside. Pikachu went to his master's side as they saw Tiger. He had already passed out from the loss of blood. The Persians still attacked him. "Tiger!" Ash yelled. "Ash, battle them and get them away from Tiger. I'll try and get Tiger into the house." Rachel said. "Okay. Phoenix, go!" Ash yelled throwing the Pokeball. Phoenix appeared with a screech. "Phoenix, Flamethrower the Persians!" Ash ordered. Phoenix shot a powerful blast of flame from his mouth. The Persian cried in pin as they were on fire. Rachel, Brock, had Misty ran over and picked Tiger up. They were almost there when a Persian leaped at Misty. the fire had missed him. He smacked into Misty with his front paws and scratched her good and hard on her left arm. She tripped and fell from the pain and force of the Persian's hit. Her now on the floor made her a easier target. "Misty! Phoenix, get that Persian!" Ash yelled. Phoenix swooped low and grabbed the Persian with his talons. He flew up and threw the cat out of the fenced yard. The other Persians didn't give up. Rachel and Brock had dropped Tiger and went to Misty's aid. The Persians leaped at Tiger. Ash got in the way. The Persian slashed him hard on the arm and the force caused Ash to fall back. Tiger saw this but Ash had no idea. After that, Tiger blacked out. Phoenix burned that Persian and the other's as well. The Persians got the ides finely. They put themselves out and fled over the fence. Phoenix landed and nodded his head. "Good job Phoenix. Return." Ash said weakly. Phoenix disappeared into his Pokeball and Ash almost collapsed from pain. In the fall, Misty had hurt her ankle. After helping her and Ash into the living room on the couch, Brock helped Misty while Rachel tried to help Tiger. Ash was sitting next to Misty, who had a bandage on her arm and ankle. Ash also had a bandage o his arm. "Are you better now, Misty?" asked Ash. "Yes, thanks. What about Tiger?" asked Misty. "I don't know. I'm worried." Ash answered. Pikachu jumped into Ash's lap and looked up at his face. "I'm sure Tiger's fine." Brock said, trying to comfort Ash. Rachel suddenly stepped from the room. "I don't know Ash. He might die but also might live. You want to see him?" Rachel asked. Ash didn't answer. He got up and walked into the room. "I guess he needs to be alone." Rachel said. Ash walked into the dark room. It was only lit by a window from the rising sun, but it was still dark out. Tiger lay on a bed. He was awake but Ash didn't know. He went up and got on his knees next to the bed. Ash was afraid to touch Tiger, so didn't. "Please Tiger, don't die. I know you hate me, but I like you." Ash whispered softly. "I don't hate you, Ash." came a weak reply. Ash almost fell over. He jumped up a little with surprise. The voice that had spoken was clam and low. Tiger had spoken. "What? You talk?" asked Ash. "Yes. The paper states that one Wolflithe can talk. I am that one Wolflithe." Tiger said, his voice horse and faded. "Why? Tiger, why did you attack me?" asked Ash. "I was raged by the fact of what Sky had done to me. I was still mad at humans. I just took it out on you." Tiger replied. "I understand. Tiger, your mine and I'll do anything to help you. Please, don't die." Tiger looked up at Ash with his red eye's. He smiled. Behind those bared teeth, there was a smile. "You saved me. What else is there? I will not die. I am strong, Ash. As strong as you made me." Tiger whispered. With those words, Tiger was gone. Into a deep sleep. Ash stood up and smiled. He walked out of the room. His friends were all asleep on the couch and floor. Ash went to sleep himself in his bed. Tiger was his new Poke'mon. And it looked like this new Poke'mon, wasn't going to be like Charizard at all. The next morning, Ash and his friends all got up. While eating breakfast, Ash slipped away and found Tiger. He was sitting up and waging his tail with happiness. He walked into the kitchen at Ash's side. All his friends stared. "Well I'll be." said Rachel. "Tiger changed!" gasped Misty. "I've changed for the better." Tiger said simply. There was silences and Tiger and Ash burst out laughing. After breakfast, they waved goodbye to Rachel and her Poke'mon. I hope I'll meet with you again, Ash. Maybe then I'll be ready to tell you my secret, Rachel concluded to herself. The three friends walked down the road. Tiger was in his Pokeball and Pikachu was on Ash's shoulder. They made there way down the path together. Friends to the end and to the end as friends. THE END Next Time: The burst of flames from Arcanine's mouth were big. Ash, Brock and Misty ducked quickly as the fire blew over head. "Gary! Stop! What are you doing!" cried Ash over the roaring flames. "What I want to do. Nidoking, get them." Gary ordered. Gary's Nidoking charged. Tiger was too fast. He shot snow and ice out his mouth in a powerful Blizzard attack. Phoenix was already pinned to the ground but Gary's Pidgeot. That's when Gary's Ninetales made her move. She used her Body Slam on Ash and his friends and knocked them out cold. Ninetales attacked again on Tiger. Already tired from battling his Arcanine, Tiger fainted along with Phoenix. Gary returned his Poke'mon and looked over Ash and his friends. "You deserve it." Gary sneered. He then took two Pokeballs and put Tiger and Phoenix in them. He walked away, happy with himself. In the shadow's, a Poke'mon saw it all. With that attack fresh in its mind, it turned, blood red eye's growling. "Now, the real fun begins." the Poke'mon growled in a evil voice. A New Evil Authors note: Like the story? I decided to have summaries at the end now. It might not be on all of them, but it will on some. This will have part's to it. I have this great idea of a Poke'mon that's just plain evil and test's his power's on Ash and his friends. Well, that's all for now!
