Hey!!
This is The Mudkip Princess with the first fanfic
chapter I've ever written. But fear not, I'll have my
own story written soon enough!! If I can ever find the
time to actually write it.

Anywho, speaking for all of us, thanx to whoever
nominated this fic for RCA!! We all really appreciate
it. Especially me cuz this is my first RCA!!

Chapter 5: Target


     "Nuh uh! Get out!!" I yelled. Apryl shook her
head sadly. I couldn't believe her. My favorite
cousin, the girl I had grown up with, was DEAD.

     "You and Bobby have to go in for questioning at
10:00 tomorrow morning," Apryl informed me. "I guess
we should tell Bobby."

     It was 3:33 in the morning and Bobby loves to
sleep. So naturally, he was angry when Jenn and I woke
him up. "What do you want, Uncle Toodles?" he asked
without opening his eyes. If the situation was any
different, we would've burst out laughing. But this
was way too serious.

     "Bobby, I'm not your Uncle Toodles. I'm your best
friend, Jenn. My cousin Misty was murdered and they
want us to come in for questioning at 10:00 tomorrow
morning," I explained. 

     Bobby sat straight up. "WHAT?! It can't be us!!
Hello, I was asleep calling Jenn 'Uncle Toodles'!!!"
he yelled.

     "Bobby, shut up. You're going to wake up Ash and
Jenn's other next-door neighbor," Apryl told him. 

AT 10:05 THE NEXT MORNING

    
     "Where were you at 1:26 last night?" questioned
some old detective guy. 

     "I was talking about boys with my best friend,
Apryl, in my bedroom," I answered, feeling stupid and
preppy.

     "I was asleep in Jenn's guest room, dreaming
about dancing monkeys," said Bobby, turning bright
pink.

      "Can anyone prove that?" asked the old guy. My
gawd, old people are SOOOOOOOOO stubborn and this guy
was getting on my nerves.

     "Apryl Robbins can," Bobby said. "Let's go get
her, Jenn."

     "Apryl!" I called. "Where are you?" We split up
and searched around the building. 
   
     I heard Bobby scream. I ran to greet him. "What?"
I asked. But soon enough, I was screaming too. That's
because Apryl was laying in a bush, bleeding, with a
cut on her left arm.

Ooh... cliffhanger, dudez!! Either Torchick or Pikachu
