Chapter 9: The Explainy Chapter


     This is for the readers of "Green" who did not quite understand the
ending of the story. I got a few puzzled reviews at fanfiction.net and I
thought it'd be best to explain.

1) Brendan was never told what he was "supposed" to do. His warped and
psychotic mind, though now split-personality free, came onto to the
conclusion by it's self.

2) Yes, Brendan actually dropped her. And yes, he whistled and walked
away. How psychotic. It was kind of fun to write.

3) No, Brendan did NOT realize that May was also from the past, though
it was kind of obvious considering she'd slip up so much. I have a
feeling Brendan isn't all that bright.

4) No, there will NOT be another sequel. I'm wrapped up in two different
stories right now, and I'm about to start a new one-shot about drunk
driving. Also, Sapphire Sunsets is just about to get wrapped up in a
finale and then I'm going to start the sequel, Emerald Ashes, with
Twisted Alyx. I have no TIME. Plus, I decided off the bat that this
story was to be a trilogy. Trilogies have three parts. There are three
parts to this series: Hold On, Nightfall and Green. That's it. No more.

5) Thank you to all my reviewers on both sites!!!! All of your support
means a lot to me!

6) Somebody also asked me about where I got the title. At first, it was
a working title until I found something better but now, it's based off
that old saying, "The grass is greener on the other side". The quote
actually fits in well with the story so I think I'll keep it.
