Chapter 5: Confessions (Ironic that I named my chapter after that Usher song "Confessions part 2" when I hate that song... LOL.) He left her standing there, the phone dangling from her right hand and tears flowing down her face. She deserved it though. She deserved every bad thing that would ever happen to her. She had other people now. Preps. Posers. Wannabes. He knew that he didn't matter to her at all. She was too different. She was right, even though he hated to admit it. He couldn't accept the new her and they could never be friends again. She had devoloped a personality that included all the things he hated. Selfish. Stuck-up. Clingy. Whiny. Preppy. Had she done it on purpose, knowing he wouldn't be around to watch her? Probably. He picked up the pay phone and dialed his house. No answer. Oh well, he would be a nice little surprise. Wouldn't his parents be shocked to find Brendan on their doorstep when they came home from wherever they were? He didn't care what his parents thought. He just had to get away from her as soon as he could. Wannabe. Look at how much moving to another continent could do to you. He couldn't hate her more. The train stopped in front of him. The person at the gate took his bags and helped Brendan board the plane. He looked out of his window, hoping to see May there, trying to stop him from leaving. Of course she wasn't. What did Brendan think this was- some dramatic movie? He would've expected it to happen- if she had been the girl he knew. She wasn't, and he was going to have to deal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
