I'm going to cry... Again. This is the last part!! *sobs* This was getting to be a really fun story too! *shrugs* I'll probably do a sequel. Anywho, thanx for all the reviews (and that includes the 35 I got for this on fanfiction.net! But there, it's called Don't Tell Me. And it's by DarkAngelTorchic, or as my friends there call me, DAT!) ! Hope ya like the last part!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 7: Again "Welcome back! We missed you!" cried Mrs. Birch. Professor Birch and Norman stood talking in a corner. And Brendan sat on the couch, looking uncomfortable and unhappy. "Hi Brendan," May said cautiously. He glanced up at her, a glint in his eyes. He didn't want her to be there, she could tell, but he was going to have to deal. "Got rid of your make-up?" Brendan asked snidely. May glared at him and stalked up to her room. She was so sick of how he was treating her. Like he wanted her to be a Johto prep, to stay where she was instead of changing for the better and coming back. Brendan followed her up there. "What do you want?" she said icily. "Going to pick another fight?" He handed her the bandana, the one he had treasured for months, his last memory of the May he had known before she left. "I came up to give you this. You gave it to me before you left for Johto and I thought you should have it back." May's expression softened a bit. "Why should I have it back, Brendan? I gave it to you. Keep it." He threw it on her desk. "No. You can HAVE it, May." "Why do you have to keep being such an ass? It was a gift from me to you when we were friends. Keep the damn thing." "I'm not being an ass. And we're not friends so you can have the stupid thing!" Brendan glared at her. May glared back. "You ARE being an ass! And it is so impossible to be in love with you!" "Not more impossible than being in love with you, dammit!" If their parents hadn't been there, the world would've gone silent. But the four adults just had to be so damn happy about seeing each other again... "What did you say, Brendan?" "The same thing you said, May." "Maybe we could start over again." "The name's Brendan. Nice to meet you, Miss Norton."
