***AUTHORESS NOTES*** Okay, this is the last chapter! After this, I might redo the first few chapters that I (Torchy) wrote. Here's the last bit! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 07: Just. Like. Him. "This royally sucks," moped Becky as a couple nerds walked by, whispering and laughing at her. "That Misty girl... How can she even like him? I thought she cared about her reputation," remarked Kristin. A paper ball was thrown at Becky. Misty and Ash snicked from across the hallway. "Nice shot, Clea," Misty grinned as Clea looked admiringly at her hand. "I do have a great aim," she boasted and Misty started to laugh. So they had been right. She had listened to their advice and ended up with more than she could've ever imagined. "Yeah, sure, Clea," mocked Jen skeptically. But everyone knew she was kidding. Misty looked over at Ash and was pleased to see him laughing. She didn't really care that Becky, Kristin and Sharon were glaring at her about 10 feet from where she stood. She had everything she wanted now. Who cared about being popular? "Well, not everyone is perfect like Misty," retorted Clea and Misty raised an eyebrow at her. "What's wrong with being perfect?" she asked innocently and they all started to laugh. Ash squeezed her shoulder. "Nothing is, Misty. Nothing at all." Another paper ball was thrown at Becky and Misty could see it from where she stood with her friends. "I feel kind of sorry for her," she remarked. "What?!" cried the people who stood around Misty. "I feel sorry for anyone who goes through life being jerk-ish," she finished. "They don't really live life to the fullest. Which is what she planned on doing as of that moment. Nothing would hold her back now! How perfect. Just. Like. Him. "I'm sorry," Ash whispered to her. "For what?" she whispered back. "Not believing you." "It's fine," she whispered with a grin. It would all be fine. Everything. Just. Like. Him.
