***AUTHORESS NOTES*** Okay, first off, I am home alone ALL DAY today while my parents are out of town! YESSSS!!! Second of all, I just wanna say thanks to my main reviewer of this story, Soccerpixie! It means SOOOO much to me. And I think that's it... So see yaz! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 26: The Unexpected Person that My Friends Met Up With I had left my friends alone in Lilycove City. Yes, all alone. It's not because I trust them, because for the most part, I don't, but hey, I wanted to go shopping and they didn't. Their loss, not mine. I learned today that I can't trust them to tell me who they meet up with during the day either. Nathan Pickens, Zachary Childers, Victoria Evans and Joshua Hamilton were walking along one of the main streets of the city. The only people out were a bunch of Team Magma members, and the occasional citizen. "Hey! You kids!" yelled someone behind them. My buddies turned around to see a teenage girl running towards them. "Can we help you?" asked a very confused Josh. "Actually, you can. You guys travel with Jenn Frost, right?" "It depends. Are you her crazed stalker that should be placed in a mental institution?" Nathan asked her, only half-joking. "Nooooo..." "Then yes, we are! Why?" Vicky questioned. She was almost as confused as Josh. The girl turned to face Nathan. "You must be Nathan Pickens. My dad has told me a lot about you." "Yeah, that's me. Nathan Pickens, I mean. Who the hell are you?!" My idiotic friend thought that she was stalking him, not me. "Oh, pardon me. My name is Brooke Frost. I'm Jenn's older sister." "Oh, YOU were the girl that was with Alex when she was ferociously mauled by a Team Rocket gang member!" exclaimed an enthused Zach. "Huh?!" Now they had Brooke confused as well. It's what they do best. "Never mind," mumbled Sam and he socked Zach on the arm. "Are you guys here for Jenn's birthday?" Brooke asked suddenly, changing the subject. "No, I didn't know she HAD a birthday," said Nathan stupidly. Brooke gave him a skeptical look. "Everyone has a birthday... But yeah, Jenn's going to be fourteen in a week and a half... My little sister's growing up... Hey, are you her boyfriend, Nathan?" "No... She never told me her birthday was coming up!" Nathan said in an offended voice. "Well, it is... Oh shit, there's Jenn and I don't want her to see me so later!" And then Brooke skipped away as I skipped over to my group. I was exhausted that night and I went to bed the minute we checked into the Center. My room buddy, Nathan, stayed up. And as soon as he knew I was asleep, he took out an ordinary composition notebook, a journal I never knew existed. June 16 Dear Book, Today I met Jenn's sister, Brooke. She seemed nice. And she told us that Jenn's birthday is in a week and a half. Jenn never told us about her birthday. The group and I have decided to throw Jenn a party. Maybe I can tell her that I love her there. Gotta go, Jenn is about to get up. Probably forgot her Torchic doll again. Later. Nathan "Nathan, where's my adorable little Torchic doll?" That boy knows me well. He handed it to me. "Okay, good night," I told him and I hopped back into bed. Nathan, minutes later, climbed on the couch and the two of us slept dreamlessly until the sun shone right in my eyes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry if that was short and pointless. The next chapter will be way more exciting.
