Chapter 32: On the Way

Vicky, Zach and Sam awoke to no sound whatsoever from Taylor and
Nathan's room. Vicky knew that something had happened.

"You guys... Nathan's not snoring. Something happened to them," she
told the boys and the three of them rushed into the room. Only a brief
note was left.

"So Jenn called Nathan and now they're gone? And they couldn't even
let us know?" cried Sam, who had envisioned a heroic rescue.

     "That's messed up," agreed Zach.

"I think this is a personal thing for them," Vicky noted.

Meanwhile, Nathan and Taylor were over by Evergrande, courtesy of
a lift from Steven. The Pokemon League champion had heard about my
kidnapping and he had approached the boys who had stopped in Mossdeep's
Pokemon Center. The boys had been grateful for the ride on Steven's
Skarmory.

So now they floated away from the city and hoped that they would
find their friend. Nathan was afraid. That they wouldn't find me, that I
would be dead, that something terrible would've happened... He had an
infinite list.

"We've been floating for three damn hours!" complained Taylor.

     "I know!" exclaimed Nathan.

"We're never going to find her!" Taylor said in his pessimistic
tone.

     "I know!"

"I have no clue where we are!" he panicked.

     "Neither do I!" Nathan realized.

     "Don't you have a map?"

     "Hell no!"

"Crap, we're all going to die!"

"Don't be so pessimistic!" scolded Nathan, but he wouldn't admit
that he wasn't all that confident either.

I had thrown up over the side of the raft again. Giovanni wrinkled
his nose and glared at me.

"Don't look at me like that. This is all your fault anyways," I
said groggily.

"No, it is not. It's your fault."

"No it isn't! Like I really wanted to be sick..."

"Well, if you hadn't overthrown my team, than this wouldn't be
happening."

"Don't expect me to apologize..." I muttered, angry and queasy.

"See, I told you it was all your fault!" he said triumphantly.

I threw up over the side of the raft again, and then passed out.

"Yes, I guess she's on her way to Johto and when she gets there,
she'll be hidden in an old Team Rocket hideout in Goldenrod," Vicky told
them. "Thanks." She hung up the phone.

"The police are on their way then?" Zach asked.

"Yes. They said they'd be there as fast as they could."

"I just hope that's fast enough," Sam said, looking out the window
at the dark clouds, and the storm that was starting to brew.

Once again, sorry that was so short, the next one will be much better.
