Chapter 3: Blink Jenn blinked at her sister. "Is that even possible? I thought they were disbanded." Bobby snorted. "Apparently not." "I feel so guilty," Brooke sighed. At that moment, their parents rushed in. "Are you kids okay? The city is swarmed with Team Rocket members!" "We're fine," Jenn answered casually, sure that she could beat them again. Bobby looked strangely at his sister. "I told you something weird was going to happen." ***** The day passed quickly after that. There was nobody on the street except the gangsters that Jenn had conquered before. She couldn't wait to go to school the next day. It also passed quickly. She had a blast with Taylor, Alexis, Sierra, Brittani, Amanda and Cole. "Hey Sam?" Jenn asked her ex-boyfriend. The hallways were empty, well, naturally, it was after school hours. "Yeah, Jenn? What's up?" She was so at ease with Sam, but yet, they were at odds with each other. "Do you know what the homework is for English?" "We don't have any." "Okay. Than-" She was poked in the back then. "Hey, Taylor." "Done socializing?" he asked coldly. "Screw this, let's go." She let him drag her off towards his house. He was quite bitter, and said nothing on the way home. Once they got in his room, it was quite different. "Wasn't that your ex-boyfriend that you were talking to?" he asked her. Jenn felt like she was being interrogated in prison. "Yeah, he sits next to me in English," she said quietly, wondering what this was leading up to. "Bet you have fun with that," he said nastily. "No, actually-" she was cut off with a swift smack on the face. Jenn was beyond shock. That was NOT what she expected to happen. "Don't argue with me, bitch." He pushed her back then, and she hit the wall. Jenn wanted to cry out, but she didn't think anyone would hear her. Taylor's neighbors weren't home, and neither was his mom. His dad had left them when he was three. "What the hell are you doing?" she screamed. She prepared to walk out the door, but Taylor grabbed her by her hair. It felt like a million hot needles were being stuck into her head at once. He threw her on the floor and then kicked her in the stomach. She hit her head on his wooden floor. He kicked her again. And again. And again. "STOP!" Jenn screamed and she began to cry. "Stop... Please stop it! STOP!" I felt the kicks hard. I just wanted to die right then. "You're not going to tell anybody, are you?" he whispered after he had finished kicking her. He was sitting casually on his bed, and she sat scrunched up in pain on the wooden floor. Jenn shook her head. She would never forget this as long as she lived. Her dream boyfriend had gotten worse than a nightmare. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ sorry that was so short.
