Chapter 5: "I Can't Believe This is Happening!" Jenn awoke with the most excrutiating headache she had ever had. It felt like she had been run over by a truck. There was a bruise on her throat, she noted, and she was wearing a white gown. The sheets were white, the blanket was white, in fact, everything was white. The smell of medicine, antiseptic and a faint tinge of blood filled the air. She looked around widly, but nobody else was in the room. She was in the hospital. She thought it had all been a bad dream. Taylor was getting to be too much for her... Too much?! The guy had nearly killed her, and threatened her life at that. "Jenn? Are you okay in here?" her brother asked gently as he walked into the room. She nodded feebly. She hoped that he didn't know what had happened. "What happened to you?" "I was walking home and all of the sudden, i started having an asthma attack. It just came out of nowhere," she explained. Bobby gave her a suspicious look. "Why do you have a bruise on your neck then?" Jenn thought of a lie quickly. "I must've hit my neck on something when I feel through the door," she told him. He seemed satisfied. "The doctors said you can go home tomorrow. I bet you can't wait to see Taylor. He's been calling off the hook for you!" "I miss him so much!" she lied. Acually, she was dreading the moment she saw him again, wondering if it would be the last time. If he would actually kill her the next time. It certainly wouldn't surprise her. Why couldn't she just be a normal teenager? A normal girl would be wondering when she would kiss her boyfriend or if he owuld try to get her to sleep with him. SHE was worrying whether he was going to kill her or not. With these disturbing thoughts nestled in her head, she drifted back to sleep. About an hour later, she got a nasty feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something was wrong. She opened her eyes a little and shrieked at what she saw. A Team Rocket member-one she had surprisingly never seen before- was standing right next to her bed. He was holding the IV that was hooked to her arm in his left hand, and a syringe of purple liquid was in his right. He had been fully prepared to stab the IV. He had been ready to poison her. The Rocket member ran out of the room and a few moments later, a nurse walked in She had been too late though. The grunt had escaped. "What's wrong, Miss Frost?" Jenn was already sobbing though, freaked out by her brush with death. If she had woken up two seconds later... She didn't want to think about it. She supposed they were really out to get her this time. "I can't believe this is happening to me!" she cried. Team Rocket really meant business this time.
