Greetings to those who are reading this! I'm kind of excited about this one. I think that the story is starting to pick up, and my style of writing is beginning to settle. So, enjoy! I DO NOT own Pokemon. I still have an addiction to yellow version, as well as sapphire. I only have a loonie. Please don't hurt me! Characters: Humans: Tranum, Delta, Nelson, Shadowy Figure Who Is Not Noticed By Any Of The Other Characters, But Is Still There All The Same, Albeit Asleep. Pokemon: Pi (a Pikachu), Marvin the Paranoid Squirtle, Jolt (Nelsons Jolteon), Alberta (Tranum's Evee), Tree (Nelsons Ivysaur), and Flambé (Delta's Flareon). Ok, now on to the actual part, or at lest the title. To catch an Evee. Or, What do you mean, no bloody quotes? Tranum ~~~~~ And so, with Marvin contentedly back in his Pokeball, Pi and Tranum set off onto route two. "Rather cold out today, isn't it, Pi?" "Well, what do you expect, we're outside Pallet, with nothing to keep us out of the wind, In the middle of minter!" "Pi, that was a rhetorical question." "Oh" "Did you here that?" "What?" "Oh, it was, most probably nothing." The two continued walking in silence. When they reached a small rise, they looked down and saw an injured Evee. Several large Spearows were attacking it. "Well, that explains the noise you heard!" "We've got to help it! If we don't drive off those Spearows, they will surely slaughter it!" "I can't attack it, I'm far too frosty!" "Fine then… Marvin!" "What is it?" "We require you to steer off those Spearows, to save that Evee!" "Just that? I won't enjoy it." "JUST DO IT!!!" Tranums howl frightened off the Spearows, negating the need for Marvin to do anything. This made Marvin about as cheerful as a pessimistic Squirtle can be. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go back to bed" Marvin popped back into his Pokeball. "Well, then…" Tranum threw a Pokeball at the Evee, and successfully captured it. "Come on then, off to the Pokemon Centre in Viridian, Pi!" It being the middle of the winter, the Sun set rather rudely, almost like the curtains falling down at the end of a performance of Shakespeare's McBeth. "Well, the sun has set, it is the middle of winter, and chances are if we continue, we'll freeze" Pi stated. "I suggest we settle down for the night." "What about Evee?" "No nickname for it yet, eh?" "How about… Alberta?" "Corny enough, it'll do." "Well, I suppose I should try to set up the tent." Tranum attempted to pound one of the stakes in to the frozen ground, but frozen ground being just that, the stake refused to make the slightest dent. "Oh joy! Guess what Pi, We are going to sleep out in the open!" "Now I understand Marvin's pessimism." Just than, a bush rustled, and a shadowy figure jumped out, into the darkness. "Ha, a newbie to Pokemon training, eh? Well, you can't refuse my challenge!" It was a boy's voice, and, judging by the sound of him, about a year older than Tranum. Another shadowy figure jumped of a ledge. "He can't refuse it unless someone takes it for him, Nelson!" A girls voice rang out in the silence of the night. She sounded to be about the same age as him, perhaps a few months older "Delta! What are you doing here?" Queried the boy, now identified as Nelson. "I could ask you the same thing," Retorted the girl, now identified as Delta. "Well in any case, I could take both of you on!" Tranum now entered in the conversation. "What about both of us, at once?" "Yeah, Sure, whatever." "How about it?" Asked both Tranum and Delta, at once. His response was: "Bolt and Tree, Go!" A Jolteon and an Ivysaur popped out of their respective Pokeballs. Delta Smiled "Flambé, Get 'em!" A Flareon came out of its Pokeball. Finally, Tranum shouted: "Go get 'em, Pi!" ~To Be Continued~ Yes, there are no quotes in this one. Preview of the next one: Flambé easily defeats Tree, but can Pi do the same to Jolt? Or will Pi fail in his very first battle? No matter what, Tranum will always have a few tricks up his sleeve! Tune in next time for The Adventures of Tranum and Pi, Part Four: Positive, Or Negative? Thanks for reading! ;) ~Tranum~
