“Red River Town”
OT

“Alright I really need to get going now”, thought Pat. Pat kept thinking,“If I leave now and keep
walking with no breaks I’ll be there in an hour” . “Well, then I guess that means we better keep
going, right Totodile?” Pat said out loud. Totototodillllle, shouted Totodile in his loud voice. “Well,
then, RETURN” Shouted Pat! “Time to really start this adventure”, thought Pat.

Pat was running when all of a sudden a girl of about age 15 ran into him. She was an odd looking
girl who was tall with black hair. “ Oh, sorry, sorry, very sorry, I am so sorry for that”, this Odd Girl
exclaimed. Pat just stared at her. “ Oh, yes, how rude of me, my name is Kagome”. I’m a new
trainer at this place” I was just running to get at the Red River 30 minutes early”, Kagome
explained. “Why do they call it Red River”? Asked Pat. “They call it red river because once a year
the pokemon upstream give off a red color and it colors the entire river red for about a week,”
Kagome said. “So this river turns red for a week, big deal,” Pat exclaimed. “ Yah I know, but there
are parties and food and candy and drinks and entertainment for free all week. Also, if you get their
early all of the little water pokemon swim down river into the sea because they're afraid of the red
color,” Kagome said, “ So I go there early and catch a couple,” “ What kind of water Pokemon are
there?” Pat asked her. “Well, there are Azurill and Marill. Also there are some Luvdisks and
Corsela that show up too,” Kagome said. “REALLY! I really like water Pokemon in fact I have a
Totodile.” “COME OUT TOTODILE!” Pat shouted. Toto toto DILLLLE! “ Well, do you have a name
for it”? Kagome asked. “Well, um, no I don't actually,” Pat said embarrassedly. “Well, think of one,
every good trainer has one,” Kagome exclaimed. “Well, lets see...um
Splash..no...Drop...no...Chomp...no...um, lets se-” “I KNOW HOW ABOUT TIDAL!” Kagome cut
in. “Hey, Tidal, I like that name, Tidal, Tidal, Tidal. Yah Totodiles name is now Tidal,” Pat said
excitedly. “Well, Tidal sure is a cute little Pokemon,” Kagome said. “Well, I really must be off now,
nice meeting you,” Kagome said. “ Oh yah and are you going to the celebration?” Kagome asked.
“Um I guess but I have to do some stuff first,” Pat exclaimed. “Well, okay I’ll see you there then I
guess. Come a little early you might be able to catch something,” Kagome said. “All right see you
later,” Pat shouted while he ran toward the PokéMart.

“Well,” thought Pat,”What do I need here. Well, I need Pokéballs, and some potions...yah.”
“Hello”,spoke the store clerk, “What can I get you today?” “Well, I’ll take seven pokeballs, one
great ball, and two potions please”, Pat told the clerk.”Oh and I have this coupon.” “Okay that
brings your total to...500 £, potions are on sale”,said the clerk. “Alright thanks sir”, Pat exclaimed.
“Well, now that I have pokeballs and potions I think I’ll head down to Red River and catch a water
Pokemon”, Pat thought in his head,”yah that’s exactly what I’ll do. I’ll show them, I can beat
anyone, you just wait and see.”

::fifteen minutes later down at the Red River::: “Excuse me sir, are there anymore water Pokemon
left?” Pat asked. “Well sort of ”, the man explained,”All of the stronger Pokemon have already
past”.”Actually one lucky girl caught a Luvdisk, but all that’s left now are Azurill and a Marill here
and there”, said the man. “Okay thanks sir”, Pat answered. “In his head Pat wondered if that girl
was Kagome who caught the Luvdisk...”. :::three minutes later::: “Hey I wonder what this big crowd
is for”, Pat thought in his head.” ::Pat turned and asked a woman a question::: “What is this crowd
for.” The woman replyed and said,” There is a confused Azurill on the shore, but no one wants to
catch it because it’s young and weak.” :::Pat looked at the shore and saw a crying Azurill on the
shore and a bunch of boys where making fun of it and pushing it over::: :::Pat suddenly burst out
yelling::: “HEY STOP IT!” “WHAT DID IT DO TO YOU” “BREAK IT UP”. Then one of the boys
replyed,” Who says we should listen to you?”  Pat answered back saying,” My Totodile says so.”
:::Pat called out Tidal who saw the crying Azurill on the ground::: Infuriated Tidal watergunned all
three boys right into the river. They all got out complaining and left. The group broke up leaving
just Tidal, Pat, and the Azurill. “Hey little buddy, I’m sorry about what they did”, Pat spoke in a soft
voice. Suddenly Azurill shot a squirt of bubbles at Pat. “Okay, yah I’ll take that for what you’ve
gone through, but I’m here to help you, not hurt you”, Pat exclaimed. “Azu, azurill”, spoke Azurill
quietly. “Yes, to help you”, Pat spoke. Then Pat asked Azurill, “You may be weak to others, but to
me you’re the strongest Pokemon in that river.” “I want you to make a descion.” “If you want to
come with me, because I want you to, you can go into this Pokeball”. :::Pat placed a Pokeball at
the foot of Azurill::: “Make up your mind, do whats right”, Pat told Azurill. Azurill stared at the
Pokeball then at Pat, then at the Pokeball, then at Pat, then back at the Pokeball and suddenly
pressed it’s nose on the button of the Pokeball. “AZURILL”, shouted Azurill happily. :::The
pokeball shook four times then clicked::: “Well, I’m glad you made the best desison here Azurill.
Welcome to the team.”
