The Pokegen Plot

AAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY...

Prologue

It was nighttime in the great Canosis Canyon... 

Close to the ruins of a previous base for team Snagem, these cliffs are a 
wonder to behold. Thousands of feet high, these cliffs have sent fear and 
amazement into many a heart.

But these gigantic cliffs seemed more endless to one particular creature than 
any other. The creature that loomed inside the cliffs was a Jigglypuff, a 
small pink ball shape that could inflate like a balloon. The features it has 
make many trainers adore it, until its slumber song would waver over the 
cliffs and carry them off to dreamland.

Jigglypuff usually were usually happy, joyful and gay (old-fashioned 
Definition) creatures, but now, they were all afraid. Now they were all prey 
to...  Myrmidons.

Nobody knew anything about the Myrmidons, for none who had ever seen one were 
ever seen again. They were all taken to other places where horrible things 
were done.

This Jigglypuff was in hiding, like hundreds of other Pokemon of all kinds 
that were in the same cliff. They all stuck together, and they had been 
living peacefully.



But their peace would never last. All of these Pokemon were used to being 
chased all over the continent, as myrmidons captured more and more of their 
kind. Wild Pokemon of all kinds all over the world were still being taken, 
and almost nobody but the myrmidons knew of it.

It was nighttime in the great Canosis Canyon... and all was silent. The only 
noise that could be heard was the whistling wind. The little Pokemon that 
nested below slept quietly, due to the singing of the Jigglypuff. In a 
situation like this, that was the only thing that could make them sleep.

Jigglypuff was alone. Nothing could escape the darkness of the night sky 
around them.

Suddenly there was a flicker of light from the distance. A column of light 
appeared starting from about 7 feet in the air and fell to the earth.

"That would be Espion" thought Jigglypuff. "How does she always manage to 
stay so calm when we could be attacked any minute? Going out to get supplies, 
HAH! She probably just doesn't want to sleep."

But it wasn’t... and only when the Jigglypuff was engulfed in the light did 
it realize.

It was a poke ball.

Struggling inside, the only thing that Jigglypuff could think about was 
getting out. It squirmed and flailed, trying to get free, but the only 
movement was a few wiggles from the poke ball. Jigglypuff was caught.

As the poke ball containing Jigglypuff was carried away from the rest of the 
Pokemon, it was horrified at what it saw. All of the Pokemon it had ever 
known were easily picked up and captured while still asleep. Whatever would 
happen to Jigglypuff would surely happen to every Pokemon in this whole 
group.

It wasn't going to be good.
