Chapter 1: A good friend and a bruised cheek

It was the beginning of a summer’s day. It was quiet, damp, and cool the sun was up but no light came that time. Cal watched as light comes in. And wonder how her summer would go. She has five red and white balls on her belt and one across her necklace. A Pokedex, a map, some cash, a sleeping bag, a comb, tooth brush, tooth paste, antidote, first aid kit, license, some extra clothing, and a backpack. As her hazel green eyes lit up when the whole town is cover in light her mother came to sit on the porch with her. "You know it’s your last day here until you come back home," her mother said. "I know, I know Mom! You told me this last week! And don’t worry, I won’t get eaten by a Garyados!"  Cal eyes look more serous by each sentence. "I know," her mother said with a sigh. "It just feel like last week you wanted me to check into your closet to see if ghost Pokémon was in there," "But remember I was right when we found Haunty?" Cal said with a grin. Cally’s mother was a little freak out when a Haunter was in their closet.  But of course they made Haunty part their family when Haunty had beaten a Gengar.  A bone crushing hand came though the wall it’s a dark purple color with black nails. It lightly taped her mother's back. "Eeeekkkk!" Her mother scream. " Oh! Hi Haunty!" Cal laughs looking at her mother face. "Haun Haun!" It said as it came though the wall. "Ha, ha, ha! You had seen your face! Nice one Haunty this is best one yet!" Cal said while laughing, "  haun ter haun," it whispers inside Cal’s ear. Cal could not under stand pokémon language but sees that Haunter has that mysterious look in his eyes again. "Ok," as Cal took deep breathes from laughing too hard. " We should go now it’s a five hour drive there," her mother said. " Ok… Can I drive?" Cal begs.

"No,"

"Please,"

"No,"

"Why not?"

"Haunter!" The ghost pokémon said.

"Haunty! You’re are not involved!" Cal and her mother yelled out.

But of course they all got there. Cal hugs her mother and tries to hug Haunty. And arrive at the bus. When she got in there was about 14 kids where there. The youngest was maybe 8 and the oldest 16. There was two kids one girl and one boy about 9 years old, they look like scouts. Next there was a kid in its 14, he look he came out the 60’s, big thick glasses and black shiny hair. He was sitting next to the youngest kid. Third was a boy in about 10, he had his red hat on backwards. He was sitting with Mancy (Cal knows her she goes to Cal’s school.) She hates Mancy because she is a sissy. Always looking in the mirror to fix her hair like she is a super star. She will be good at those Berk commercials. There are two boys they just look like regular trainers. Fifth Was Cal she was sitting alone until two kids show up they look like in there 13’s. One boy and one girl they look like they are swimmers. "Clason how about you sit with Ferris, and I sit the alone girl," the girl said. The boy had sit across Cal. Ferris had a long collar across his neck make his head hidden maybe the oldest. " Hey, could I sit with you?" The girl swimmer asks. "Yea, sure!" Cal move her backpack out the way so the swimmer could sit next her.

"I’m Julian what’s your?"

"Cal,"

"That’s a strange name for a girl,"

" No my real name is Cally, just everyone call me Cal,"

"Oh,"

And then two kids ran inside. "Close the door! (Huff) My worst enemy is coming!" The boy said. " Hold your Ponyta, I will! I will!" the old man said. Then their mother was chasing them. "Sorry Mom! I will call you when we get there!" The girl called out. " Becy! Conner! Are going to remember to changes your-" Then the bus driver close the door on the mother. "He! He! I only do that to annoyed you," The bus driver laugh. "Ha, very funny," Conner said. The twins sit in the back. " Ok, is everybody ready?" The bus drive called out. Then everyone show his or her pillows. "Pillows? Why we need them?" Cal was confused. "Oh, because-" Julian was about to tell her why, but then it happens. The 80-year-old man had push on the gas. And cause the bus to jerk all the way there. Cal had her head sideways so made her cheek bang agents the seat. It was a two-hour drive of face banging. When they finally get there. The bus drive had stop instance. So made the right cheek pay the price.
