(Black text is just regular text. Red text means it's being sung by Ailis, Blue by Zero, and Violet by both.)

“Hey, Ash hurry up. Your gonna be late!” Delila Ketchum yelled at her lazy 17-year-old son. He rushed down the steps, buttoning his tuxedo as he came down the stairs. “I'm coming, Mom. Patience is a virtue, I always say.” He grabbed his tie, and tied it in one swift movement. “You never say that, Ash.” Delila said, straightening his tuxedo. “I still can't get over it. My little boy is growing up.” She began to sniffle.

Just then, there was a ring at the door.

“I'll get it. It's probably Zero. And I hope he didn't bring along more of those Secret Service goons. They scare me.” Ash said, running for the door. (This is an alternate universe, so I can make it that you can run for president even if your not born in America. Zero was born in Vogar, Iceland in 1697. His parents abandoned him at age 3, which was when he met Arteez, a Shade from an alternate reality. Zero was starving, so Arteez bonded with him and made Zero and him immortal.)

Ash opened the door, and it was Zero, and his wife, Ailis.

“Hey, Ash. Ready to go?” Zero asked, ushering to the car.

“Yep. Mom, I'm leaving. Be back by 11.” He called, heading toward the long black limousine parked outside.

When Ash, Zero, and Ailis got in the car, Zero told the driver to take them to Silas J. Bantwarker High School, where both Ash and Misty (See how I brought her into the story?) attended.

After an uneventful 2 minute drive, the Limousine pulled up to the high. Ash spotted Misty straight away, and Zero, Ailis and him all came over to her.

“Hi, Misty. Long time no see. Wow, you've gotten bigger. But still shorter than me and Ash.” Zero said. HE towered an impressive 6½ feet tall. Ash stood about 6 foot even, and Misty about 5' 10''.

“Zero, nobody is taller than you.” Misty said.

Zero and Ailis sat on the side of the gym where the dance was being held.

Zero leaned back in his chair and sipped his punch.

“Tonight's the night. If it doesn't happen tonight, I'm gonna' lose it.” He said.

“How are we going to do it?” Ailis asked in a thick Danish accent.

“Just follow my lead.” Zero said, getting up to work his (Not literally, though he can do it) magic.

“So, do you want to dance? You know, as friends?” Ash asked Misty.

“Sure.” She replied. “Why not.”

The moment they stepped foot on the dance floor, Zero dimmed the lights and switched the music to slow.

Ash and Misty both blushed as they slow danced.

“This isn't working! All they're doing is blushing!” Ailis hissed in Zero's ear.

“I know. Let's try something else.” With that, Zero cast a quick spell.

It turned everyone's attention, except Zero and Ailis', to the spot where Ash and Misty were dancing.

“Ash, everyone's watching us.” Misty whispered in his ear.

“So? You're the most popular girl in school, and I'm the most popular boy. They probably all saw this coming.” Ash said.

Misty shrugged and continued to dance.

Zero switched the music to a tune he Ailis had made, and they did what they had been planning since they first met Ash and Misty.

Zero began to hum, and they both started to sing.

There you see her
Sitting there across the way
She don't got a lot to say
But there's something about her
And you don't know why
But you're dying to try
You wanna kiss girl.

Yes, you want her
Look at her, you know you do
It's possible she wants you too
There's one way to ask her
It don't take a word, not a single word
Go on and kiss the girl.
(kiss the girl)

Shalalalala
My oh my
Looks like the boy's too shy
Ain't gonna kiss the girl.

Shalalalala
Ain't that sad
It's such a shame
Too bad, you're gonna miss the girl
Go on and kiss the girl.
(kiss the girl)

Nows your moment
Floating in a blue lagoon
Boy, you better do it soon
No time will be better
She don't say a word
And she wont say a word
Until you kiss the girl (kiss the girl)

Shalalalala
My oh my
Looks like the boy's too shy
Ain't gonna kiss the girl

Shalalalala
Ain't that sad
It's such a shame
Too bad, you're gonna miss the girl

Shalalalala
Don't be scared
You better be prepared
Go on and kiss the girl

Shalalalala
Don't stop now
Don't try to hide it how
You wanna kiss the girl
Go on and kiss the girl

(kiss the girl)
(oh, ohnoo..)
(kiss the girl, kiss the girl)

Lalalala, Lalalala
Go on and kiss the girl
Lalalala, Lalalala
Go on and kiss the girl

Shalalalala
My oh my
Looks like the boy's too shy
Ain't gonna kiss the girl

Shalalalala
Ain't that sad
It's such a shame
Too bad, you're gonna miss the girl
(Zero called the last part out, directly at Ash.)

Lalalala, Lalalala
(Go on and kiss the girl)
Go on and kiss that girl!
Lalalala, Lalalala
(Go on and kiss the girl)
Go on and kiss the girl
Kiss the girl
(Kiss the girl)
Go on and kiss the girl

Ash smiled, and Misty blushed. They leaned forward, and did what Zero, Ailis, and pretty much anyone who spent a good amount of time with them, saw coming.

They kissed.

The moment their lips touched, a cheer came up from the crowd.

Zero lifted the spell, and the crowd kept cheering.

Outside, two birds passed over the moon. And Zero knew this meant good luck.
