Chapter 8:
      
      As Rocky was pedaling toward Eterna City, he saw a Cherrim lying on the ground. A Donphan was 
barreling at Cherrim with Rollout. Rocky grabbed Cherrim and took the full blast of Rollout. “Damn it!”  
Lucario used Aura Sphere and grabbed Rocky and the bike. He used Extreme Speed to high-tail it to the 
nearest PC. After Cherrim being in the emergency room for 7 hours, Rocky fell asleep waiting. In the 
middle of the night, Cherrim walked out of the emergency room, jumped on Rocky’s lap, and went to sleep.
      “Pathetic! No trainer would degrade himself just his Pokemon’s comfort.” Rocky woke up to see 
Paul standing in front of him. 
      “Who asked you?!” Rocky replied angrily.
      “No one, I just thought I’d give some advice to a stupid trainer.” One thing led to another and started 
a Pokemon fight
      The battle began with Rocky choosing Mightyena and Paul choosing Murkrow. Murkrow was 
charging up for a Sky Attack. Rocky told Mightyena to use Rollout? Then use Ice Fang while spinning? It 
worked perfectly. It created a Fusion Attack called Ice Wheel. A Fusion Attack is rare in regular battles, but 
very common in contests. A Fusion Attack is created by using 2 or more attacks in a combination or used 
simultaneously. Murkrow was taken down easily.  Paul’s next choice was Chimchar, however it was 
demolished by a Rollout. Paul used a sucker punch tactic and took out Mightyena with an Ursaring and its 
Focus Blast. Cherrim was angered and used a Solar Beam on Ursaring and won the battle for Rocky. 
Cherrim jumped on Rocky’s shoulder as he was walking toward Paul. “Who’s the stupid trainer now, Paul?” 
As Paul walked away, he released Chimchar. “Cherrim, do you really want to join me on my journey?” 
Cherrim squealed happily as she entered her new Pokeball.
