Today was the day. The day that 10 year old Josh Ketchum began his 
Pokémon journey. 
 He slid on his black cap over his black hair.
He was wearing black jeans, red t-shirt, black jacket, red and white 
shoes and cut black biker gloves.
“Josh, you ready?” called his mum, Delia Ketchum. “Yeah mum” Josh called 
back. He then ran down the stairs to where his mum was waiting. “Oh I 
can’t believe you’re starting on your journey too” Said his mum. “Just 
like my brother, Ash” Josh replied. “I’ll miss you Josh” Said his mum. 
“Me too” replied Josh. “Well bye mum” he said, turning to walkout the 
door. “Goodbye honey” muttered his mum, as Josh left to begin his Pokémon 
journey.

As he arrived at Professor Oak’s lab Josh was so exited. He was going to 
get his first Pokémon. He took a deep breath and stepped inside. He was 
shocked at what he saw, too afraid to move. The lab was wrecked…..
