Episode 3 - Burning Desire

     In the last episode, Amber arrived at New Bark Town. She had met a gym leader of Johto as well.

     "Where's that Red now..." Amber opened the glass door of the large building. Red was standing next to a Pokèball facing Amber.

     "Well, that took you long enough..." Red said. He tossed the Pokèball to Amber. "My gift to you, I caught it yesterday, it's pretty rare, so take good care of it." Red rolled up his sleeve and walked futher into the lab.

     Amber followed him while holding onto the Pokèball Red gave her. "So, what now..."

     "Hey, Elm, this is my buddy Amber, she wants to join the league, could you help out?" Red asked. Elm turned around and shook hands with Amber.

     "Nice to meet you, now, here's all your stuff, you go your gear and map card, blah...ok, bye now, I'm a busy man!" Elm said as he rushed back to his work.

     "Well, he's usually a nice guy...when's he's not busy..." Red looked over at the items in Amber's hand. "Hey...there's no Pokèdex, I guess he ran out of them, you can go visit another professor, he lives not too far from here, I'll go with you." Red offered to go with Amber.

     "No, that's okay, I'll go by myself..." Amber attached the Pokèball to her belt and ran outside the lab. Red walked outside and watched as the sun set over the ocean.

     "Amber..."
