OK 3rd fan fic here and I hope this one takes the cake. I've been planning it for a month. Enjoy.

Girdlid, Dracono Evolite (real name of Z), Rusty and Kimberly Lozzad, and Medusit} BZZZZZZZZZZT 
end of transmission.
"The Dark Cataclysm"
Chapter 1: The Intrusion

	The nighttime breeze could have chilled Moltres's feathers off. A boy about 15 years old stood 
outside Saffron City's gates. Guards patrolled the outside perimeter but that didn't damper the boy's spirits. 
He walked up behind 2 guard's backs and clunked their heads together, rendering them unconscious. " 
Shadow, remove dark aura effect." Said the boy in black. Hearing this a pokemon that was black with 
yellow circles all over it's body came into focus. This was an Umbreon that stood about as tall as Suicune. 
The boy then channeled his energy and opened a hole in the gate large enough for him and his Umbreon to 
get through.
	The 2 were inside the city gates now. * Do you think this is a good idea? * the pokemon 
psychically asked his trainer who he thought was being too rash at the scenario. " I'm positive. This is the 
only way to find the main headquarters so we can get rid of it." The trainer growled. * I'm not sure. 
Breaking into a high security research facility? Sounds pretty risky to me* the pokemon told his trainer. " 
Nonsense. Do you see that ventilation chamber there. [point's to a ventilation chamber.] Well you get in 
that and go down the tunnel until you see the 5th opening. From there you send an EMP to shut off the 
lights in this neighborhood. I'll move in, crack some skulls, and meet you on the 7th floor." The trainer was 
anxious to start.
	The Umbreon crawled into the system and began going down. At the 5th opening the lights 
suddenly went out and the trainer moved in. The Umbreon (who will be from here on out referred to as 
Shadow) busted out of the vent and proceeded to the 7th floor. Meanwhile, Shadow's trainer had already 
busted in without tripping an alarm. He moved toward the 7th floor and met up with Shadow there.
	
" Blue 42 set… hike!" called the television as Ash, Misty, and Brock watched. " Yes football fans 
it seems to be a perfect night for a gaZZZZTTTTTTTttt………" "We interrupt this program to bring you a 
special announcement." A woman was on the screen. "The Pokemon Research Facility, or PRF in Saffron 
has just been broken into." The woman broadcasted. " Security police has surrounded the building in 
attempt to stop the intruder. " That's correct we are here live at the PRF in Saffron city were many officials 
claim to believe that the Shadow has struck here next." Everyone in the room fell anime style. " Z, you 
idiot! Why are you doing this again. First Pewter, then Lavender, now Saffron! You aren't going to find it." 
Ash was chuckling at the fact that his friend might be arrested tonight for the first time.
	"BRRRRING!" Brock's phone rang. "Hello. Brock here." He said. " Yo! Brock do you see what's 
on the tube?" Brock recognized the voice almost instantly. " Sheliah is that you?" " who else? Anyway Z is 
in no real trouble, just get ready to hide him fast." Sheliah said and hung up.
	On the 7th floor Z had just finished tapping into the computer mainframe when 3 cops appeared in 
the doorway. " Freeze!" One shouted. " Shadow… evasion maneuver 2." Commanded Z. Shadow used 
dark aura and he and Z disappeared. " Blast the room!" The first cop shouted. However it was too late. Z 
had just jumped out the window. " Machdor go!" A Pidgeot flew out and caught Z and Shadow. " To 
Brock's house and fast." Z said to Pidgeot.
