Yawning, Ash stretched his body out along Misty's bed. Placing his arms behind his head, he stared at the ceiling.

"How much can one girl eat?" He muttered to no one. Sadly enough for him, Misty was standing in the doorway. A large vein was throbbing on the side of her head.

"It depends on how badly the guy asking the question wants to get hurt." She replied angrily. Ash flew out of her bed in surprise.

"Uhh, hehe, its nothing like that! I was just wondering because I was waiting for you to come back!" He said, a large bead of sweat rolling down the back of his head. Misty nodded sarcastically and crossed her arms.

"Why didn't you come get me then?" She asked innocently. Ash barely caught himself from falling over.

"I'm not wearing a shirt! You're wearing it!" He cried in dismay, straightening up. Misty smirked evilly.

"You don't have anything to hide, nothing worth looking at resides on your body." She retorted. Ash blushed deeply.

"Uhhh..." He was at a loss. Misty smiled in triumph.

"I won that one." She said. Ash frowned.

"You were thinking of that the whole time you ate, weren't you?" He asked. Misty shrugged.

"Well, rehearsal is the key to a good performance." She commented. Ash didn't catch himself as he fell over. Misty giggled.

"That was a good start, I needed that." She said, walking over to him. Ash stared at her in confusion and raised an eyebrow.

"Huh?" He said. Misty sighed.

"Last night wasn't exactly what I would call a good sleep. Watching you fall over in shock always brings my spirits up." She said, pecking him lightly on the cheek. Before Ash could utter another word, Misty left.

***** Fifteen minutes later, city outskirts ****

I hate it.

Misty groaned as she was bombarded with pokemon language, millions of conversations started up. She tried not to clench her fists, knowing that the people around her would freak when they saw her gloves appear.

Ash.

She could hear him coming, smell him to. He had a small amount of electrostatic power around him, like hot aluminum, Pikachu's signature scent. Plus, he still smelled like antiseptic from the hospital. She could also smell a lingering scent of his pokemon.

This is getting freaky.

"Misty, wait up, you can't leave the hospital yet!" Ash called. Misty stopped and waited for him. Before he could reach her, she changed her mind as she caught another scent.

"Pikachu's on its way, stay here Ash, I want to be alone for a little while." She said, beginning to walk again. Ash looked around him. Pikachu was running up to him.

"Pikachu? But... how did she-?" Ash trailed off. He was almost sure that a large question mark was floating over his head. He started walking in the direction Misty had run off.

What's happening to me?

Misty ran, as far as her legs would take her, she could feel her arms lengthening, her legs becoming thinner. Her skull was moving and rotating, she squeezed her eyes shut, her skin was becoming darker.

Why does it have to hurt?

She cried out as she stumbled over a twig. Her shoulders grew and her body convulsed. She fell forward. The surrounding forest seemed to be closing in around her as she whimpered, pulling her body inward. Her spine creaked as it changed. The intense pain was increasing until she screamed out in agony. She wrapped her arms around her knees, trying to block it out.

It hurts.

Pokemon began to surround the crying girl. Her body was switching from pokemon to human uncontrollably. As Misty sobbed harder, her body began to turn human, some features remained pokemon, and didn't leave. The young girl whimpered.

A Noctowl floated down in front of her, it looked familiar to Misty, but her mind was far too gone to realize it's different colorings. The bird's eyes glowed and Misty released a strangled sob before dropping into a forced sleep.

"Good job, Noctowl." A deep voice said. The bird was surrounded in red light before disappearing into a pokeball. Ash looked grimly at Misty. He bent over her quivering body. He was about to pick her up when her shoulder blades began to move. Her flesh was moving up and down slightly, as if something were trying to push through. He gasped and stepped back. A sickening rip erupted around them as Misty's flesh was torn.

Ash covered his mouth and turned away. The large amount of blood that seeped through the shirt was making him queasy. Pikachu squeaked slightly before its eyes rolled into the back of its head and the small rodent passed out. Seconds passed and the ripping sounds ceased.

A loud rustling came from Misty and Ash turned around. His eyes grew nearly larger than saucers. A pair of long, bloody wings lay limp on the forest floor. Ash gagged before summoning his Totodile.

"Totodile, get the blood off of Misty's... wings." He said. Totodile happily complied and drenched the young girl in water. She didn't move and Ash kneeled down next to her. He sighed in relief to see her chest rising and falling. He slipped his hands underneath her body and lifted her bridal style. Turning to Totodile he sighed.

"Totodile, carry Pikachu for me." HE said. Totodile chanted it's name and picked up the unconscious pokemon none too gently. Ash turned and began his way out of the forest.

"I believe ya got something of ours." A Scratchy voice interrupted Ash's thoughts. He looked up. Misty's dead weight was taking its toll on his arms. In front of him stood a young boy in a Team Rocket outfit. A pair of long, yellow Pikachu ears stuck downward from underneath his floppy hat. His red cheeks and long thunderbolt tail added to his Pika- suit. The boy grinned.

"What ever are you doing with a member of Team Rocket, that's called kidnapping, didn't you know?" He asked. Ash frowned.

"Misty would never join Team Rocket!" He growled. The boy chuckled.

"Involuntarily? Of course not, but, who said she had a choice, the bite she got was by a pokemon that had eaten a Giten fruit. Any pokemon that eats that, is a member of Team Rocket, because only we have them. So, be a good boy and hand her over." He said, putting his right hand out. Ash shook his head and took a step backward. A large squeal came from Totodile and Ash turned around. A Machoke held the little pokemon in it's strong grip.

"Totodi-" He was cut of as someone kicked him in the back. He stumbled forward and was met by the fist of another person. His body was tossed backwards and he lost his grip on Misty's body. As the limp girl fell down, a flash of red went by and grabbed the falling girl. A small boy about five or six held onto her body. Ash could see nine flowing tails strewn around his feet. His ruby eyes blinked and he disappeared. Ash stood up, but was thrown back down. A Girl with long purple hair and hazy black eyes stared angrily at him.

"You lost us our bounty. Now we gotta report you to the boss." She said calmly, but in a threatening tone. A giggle erupted from a nearby tree and the girl jerked her head up.

"Mistume, you're such a dork." Said a fourteen year old boy perched on a think branch. He had dark brown hair with purple highlights. His green eyes sparkled with life. His clothes were a navy shirt and baggy black pants. He grinned, revealing a row of fangs. The boy jumped off the branch and floated to the ground. A long pink tail twitched back and forth underneath him. The girl named Mistume glared at him.

"What the hell do you want? Little freak." She asked. The boy shook his finger at the girl.

"Ah ah ah, my name's Izzy, simple girl, you're jealous because you only have a Gengar gene in you. Pity they chose to use the Mew DNA on a kid like me." He said, laughing outright. Mitsume frowned and turned to Ash. She placed her shoe on his throat.

"He's an innocent, you know, not a bit of pokemon in him, if he died, I'm sure you know what would happen, Kenji has ten seconds to bring the girl or boy'o here gets his windpipe broken in half." She said, Ash let out a small choke as the girl increased the amount of pressure on his throat. Izzy frowned.

"No." He said. Mistume glared at him and turned to Ash, only to see that the Pika-boy was underneath her foot.

"Bastard." She yelled, turning to Izzy, who was no longer there. An obnoxious laugh echoed through the woods.

"Not Bastard, Freaks." A voice echoed inside the laughter. Mistume lifted her foot from the boy and kicked him in the head.

"FIND THEM!" She roared.
