Ash quickly got ready for school

Delia watched her some run out the door.
?	I need to tell him tonight… Delia thought 
A crowd of people stood in front of the gym doors some of them screaming with 
joy and some of them crying out with unsatisfaction. Ash Looked up and down 
the list but couldn’t find his name.
?	Ash Can I talk to you for a minute Coach Talho said.
?	Sure Coach. But how come my name isn’t on the list?? Ash stated
?	Well that’s what we kinda need to talk about… Ash I know you have tried 
out for 3 years straight and got cut everytime. But I just don’t feel like 
our team is the right fit for you.  Im sorry son. We would be happy though if 
you stuck by us and became a manager or something of the sort. Well urm, if 
you want to Coach Talho said.
Ash stood there silently…. No emotion spread across his face….

now. Just know my office is always open to you son. Coach Talho explained

Ash looked nothing short of a zombie with no brains all day at school
?	So Ketchum I see you didn’t make the team again! Wow you probably set 
the record with so many failed attempts at Pallet High 
hahahahahahahahahahha!!!! Gary shouted
Ash just still sat there at his desk with nothing to say…. What could he say… 
Gary was right… He had always been right.
?	Hey Ketchum Im talking to you!!!! Gary Shouted

?	Eh! Whatever If you would have made the team you would have only slowed 
us down for a chance at the state title, Im ouuta here Gary said
Gary then walked away. Rumors went all around the school that Ash didn’t make 
the team. He would even hear girls whispering around him stating how they 
thought he was a loser and that he had no talent. Finally after a long day of 
school Ash finally returns home
?	Honey! How was your day Delia said

?	I see…. So I guess you didn’t make the team then huh sweetie….
?	….no….. Ash said lowly under his breathe.
?	Well Ash I might have some good news.

?	No Honey… I got a new Job in Cerulean and we have to report tomorrow.
?	But where will I go to school at?
?	Well there is Cerulean High school , look at it as a chance to start 
fresh and make the team or even meet your next girlfriend
Cerulean high….. One of the worst basketball and football programs out there 
in the history of sports. They haven’t won a basketball game in over 2 years.

?	Well you don’t have to play basketball sweetie, I just know we have to 
be out of this house by tomorrow so I need you to pack up. 
Ash nodded his head and ran upstairs to pack…… After a long and stressful 
move the Ketchum’s moved into a nice and beautiful home
?	Ash Sweetie maybe you should go around the neighborhood you know, 
explore a little bit, you might get to meet someone you go to school with. 
But hurry along now, the neighbors invited us over for dinner.
?	I guess Ash said.
Walking down the street…  Ash looks dazed and amazed at some of the features 
that the town has.
?	Wow, this town looks way nicer than Pallet, Ash thought
All of a sudden a girl carrying grocery bags runs into Ash and spilling all 
the groceries everywhere.
?	O my gosh! I am sooo sorry.
?	It’s cool Ash stated………. Mannnn she is hot... Ash thought (also 
checking her out)

?	Names Ash Ketchum, Here let me help you with your groceries

?	Well Ash Ketchum do you play any sports
?	Yes, I play basketball and I can kind of run track
?	O that’s cool.
?	What sport do you do
?	Well I just cheer, I’m a varsity cheerleader

?	Well… kinda , we really don’t win a lot of games so it’s kinda hard to 
be positive. And especially with basketball season coming up in the next 2 
months, it’s going to be kind of hard you know
?	Yeah  I get you
?	But I mean you play Basketball also, so you might help the team out so 
that way we can finally win a game.
?	Ok Misty if we win a game you gotta take me out on a date.
?	A DATE!!!! (misty blushed) well… umm.. err… uhh.. hey wait doesn’t the 
guy take the girl out anyways?,….. Ok ill give into your bet Ash.
?	(with a smile) then it’s a bet

Ash then  blushed at the response he received from Misty. The two just kept 
walking and smiling at each other when all of a sudden Misty just stops.
?	What’s up misty?
?	Well this is kind of my house, and we invited the new neighbors over 
for a nice meal that me my sisters  are cooking.
?	Ooooo I see Ash then grinned. 
?	Yeah, well mayb I will see you around school sometime. 
?	Hmmmmm might be sooner than you think.
?	Lol I suppose Mr. Ketchum, Bye!
Misty then walks into her house and closed the door.
?	So sounds like we are going to have a good meal tonight Ash said.
Later that night….. DING DONG!
?	Misty get the door! Daisy stated
?	The new neighbors are here Lily yelled

himself
?	Ash what are you doing here!!!!
?	Well seeing is how I live next door to you and your sisters invited me 
and my mom over for dinner… Well you get the rest Ash implied
Ash and his Mom walked in and sat down at the table
?	Alright Dinner is served everyone! Daisy yelled
The sisters made a good chicken dinner with Macarooni and sausages.
?	Man that was really good dinner Ash said

Ash then winked at misty remembering the bet they made earlier

?	Well look at the time, Delia said glancing at the clock noticing it was 
midnight. We gotta get going Ash you have school tomorrow Delia said

While cleaning the dishes
?	You know Misty if you weren’t blushing at the sight of Ash I might have 
to steal him- Violet Joked
?	What!!! Erm uhh!- It’s not even like that, we are just friends Misty

?	Wait Misty!!!! How do you even know him, You barely talked to him at 
dinner Violet said
?	Well ummmm we ran into each other earlier today I spilled the food and 
he helped me carry it back to the house Misty explained.
?	 AWWWWWW—All 3 gathered in praise, Baby sister is growing up!!!!
?	But its not even like that, really sis misty said
?	O but the way you were staring at him I could swear that you like 
him!!! Even Lily took a picture of you  staring at him while he was eating

Delia was on the phone
“Why sure Daisy I would be glad to give misty his number, it’s nice to see 
Ash making new friends Delia said” Then she gave her the number and said 
there bye’s.
In Ash’s room
?	Tomorrow is the day that I can finally start my dream Ash thought
Just then Ash’s Cell phone rang
?	Hmmmm who could be texting me at this time of night
“” Goodnight Ash, See you in the morning or at school’’’
?	Wonder who that was from- Ash thought
Misty’s house
Misty then placed her cell phone down by her stand and feel asleep with a 
smile.
